MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION
Cleaning the unit
Use a soft and dry cloth. If the surfaces are extremely dirty, use a soft cloth lightly moistened with mild detergent solution. Do not use strong solvents, such as alcohol, benzine or thinner.
Disc Maintenance
- Do not place the unit in oblique position when there is CD in the unit. Do not place and play
the player with two disc in a CD tray.
- After playing a disc, store the disc in its case. Do not leave the disc in the unit because it can
make disc become expand and humid.
- After playing a disc, store the disc in clean case and do not leave the disc in places that are
hot or humid.
- When a disc become dirty, wipe the disc from center out with a cleaning cloth.
- Do not wipe the CD by turning around, it can cause damage your CD. And do not clean the
CD with chemical liquid.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION
Before operating the unit please follow these advise and instruction below for safe and correct operation.
Condensation
Condensation might occur on the following condition : the unit is moved from a cold place to the warmer one, the unit is operated inside a steamed room or a room with a high humidity, the unit is operated near an Air Conditioner, soon after a room heater is turned ON. If there is a condensation inside the unit, it probably enable to operate temporarily. In this case, wait about 1 until 2 hours to evaporate the moisture.
Place the unit on a safe, stable and flate surface.
Do not obstruct the unit ventilation openings with paper, tablecloth, curtain, etc. Place the unit approximately 15 cm away from other object.
Do not place the unit on any exteremely hot (near a heater or fire place), cold, humid or dusty areas. Do not expose the unit under the direct sunlight. Place the unit at temperature from 50C until 350C.
Do not place any objects filled with liquid on or arroud the unit and keep it away from splasing or dripping water.
Do not place any fire sources on or arround the unit, such as burning candle, match, etc.
Contact our service station when the unit does not work properly or damaged. Do not try to repair by yourself.
Grip the AC Cord plug and do not pull the wire when you are connecting or disconnecting the AC Cord. Unplug the AC Cord plug from kthe AC power outlets if the unit is not operated for a long period of time.

Problems
Remote control does not work.
There is interference when COAXIAL OUT cable connected to the other equipment. Undetected USB Flashdisk or SD/MMC/ MS Card.
Causes
- Battery position is incorrect.
- Any button is pressed.
- Remote control is not directed to the player.
- There is signal interference from COAXIAL OUT cable.
- Error or busy system.
- USB Flashdisk or SD/MMC/MS Card (for certain model only) does not plug correctly on the USB terminal or Card Slot.
Solution
- Put the battery correctly.
- Check and make sure there is no pressed button.
- Point remote control to the player.
- Use good quality cable that used a ground shield.
- RESET the player.
- Unplug USB Flashdisk or SD/MMC/MS Card (for certain model only), then turn off the unit and let for a moment, turn the unit on and plug USB Flashdisk or SD/MMC/MS Card correctly.

Preference
PREFERENCE menu consist of : TV SYSTEM, AUDIO, SUBTITLE, DISC MENU, PARENTAL, PASSWORD and DEFAULT. For TV SYSTEM, AUDIO, SUBTITLE, DISC MENU and PARENTAL only can be adjusted when the unit is in STOP, OPEN or NO DISC condition. TV System : You can adjust TV SYSTEM to PAL, AUTO or NTSC. Match with your TV. Audio : Used to select the language as audio output language. There are : ENGLISH, FRENCH, SPANISH, CHINESE, JAPANESE, KOREAN, RUSSIAN and THAI. If you select OTHERS the unit will automatically select the one of LANGUAGE that available, this is because the DVD disc is not always recorded in language that mentioned above. For OTHERS selection, you can insert the Language Code refer to the LANGUAGE CODE table according to your preferred language on this manual book. Subtitle : Used to select the language as subtitle text. There are : ENGLISH, FRENCH, SPANISH, CHINESE, JAPANESE, KOREAN, THAI, INDONESIAN and MALAY. If you select OTHERS the unit will automatically select the one of SUBTITLE language that available, this caused the DVD disc is not always recorded in language that mentioned above. If you select OFF, the unit will not displayed subtitle on the tv screen. For OTHERS selection, you can insert the Language Code refer to the LANGUAGE CODE table according to your preferred language on this manual book. Disc Menu : Used to select the language as disc menu message or instruction. There are : ENGLISH, FRENCH, SPANISH, CHINESE, JAPANESE, KOREAN, RUSSIAN and THAI. If you select OTHERS the unit will automatically select the one of DISC MENU language that available, this caused the DVD disc is not always recorded in language that mentioned above. For OTHERS selection, you can insert the Language Code refer to the LANGUAGE CODE table according to your preferred language on this manual book. Parental : Enable you to set the limits of parental protection movie according to the age level. If PASSWORD mode is ON(active), PARENTAL can only be changed by entering a correct PASSWORD. Select OFF, if you want to turn PARENTAL OFF. PARENTAL facility will work if the disc has this facility. Password : Select Change to change the old PASSWORD with new PASSWORD (5 digit password). If the inserted PASSWORD is wrong because of forget or replace by someone else, you can use SUPER PASSWORD “13579”. Then insert new PASSWORD (5 digit password). Default : Select RESET to return all SETTING to the FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Check the following guides below if the unit can not operated normally before you bring it to our service station.
Solution
- Connect the AC Cord plug to the AC power outlets properly.
- Change to other AC power outlets.
- Select AV input TV according to the input that is used.
- Make sure Video cable is connected prop­erly to its connector.
- Take out the disc and clean carefully.
- Use good quality cable.
- Read instruction manual to setting correctly.
- Increase volume in DVD Player.
- Check Disc that compatible with player.
- Insert the disc with label is upside.
- Put the disc in correct position.
- Take out the disc and clean carefully.
- Turn off PARENTAL LOCK function.
- Disconnect the AC Cord plug from the AC power outlets.
Problems
No power indication on the unit.
There is no picture in TV.
Picture distortion.
Soft sound in speaker. Disc can not be played.
Button on DVD player is malfunction when it is pressed.
Causes
- The AC Cord plug is not con­nected to the AC power outlets properly.
- AV input TV is not appropriate with input that is used.
- Video cable is not firmly con­nected.
- Dirty disc.
- Bad cable quality.
- Wrong Video out setting.
- It is normal for DVD disc.
- Disc is not compatible.
- Disc is placed upside down.
- Disc is not put correctly.
- Disc is dirty.
- PARENTAL LOCK is active.
- Player need to be RESET.
Safety Marking
CAUTION : To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. This marking is placed on the exterior of the bottom of the unit. The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated DANGEROUS VOLTAGE within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instruction in the literature accompanying the appliance. The unit uses a component that produces laser beam and it have been classified as CLASS 1. This marking is placed on the exterior of the bottom of the unit. ENVIRONMENT INFORMATION : Please take attention to the local regulation for packaging, battery and ex-unit disposal. The dispose of battery should be separated from common trash as chemical disposal.
INTRODUCTION OF THE COMPATIBLE DISC AND FILE FORMAT
This unit is designed to be able to play DVD, SVCD, VCD Ver 1.0 - 2.0, Audio CD, MP3, MPEG4, MPG and also can be used to display picture in JPEG format. Note : On the development forward, there will be MPEG4 disc with many extension file kind appears. There is possibility this player can not support some MPEG4 disc with certain extension file. Not all JPEG files compatible with this unit.

Audio
Audio setup menu consist of : DOWNMIX, SPDIF OUTPUT, DRC, EQ SETUP, REVERB MODE and MIC SETUP. Downmix
1. LT/RT : When the disc is played with DOLBY DIGITAL PRO LOGIC stereo effect, signal decoder will produces 2 channel L (left) and R (right) simulation effect.
2. STEREO : When playing 5.1 channel disc, the output signal will become stereo signal through L (left) and R (right).
SPDIF Output
1. OFF : To turn Digital Audio Output OFF.
2. RAW : Select this if connected to Digital Amplifier with Digital Input (COAXIAL or OPTICAL). When playing disc that has been recorded with Audio DOLBY DIGITAL / DTS format, so Digital signal will out without modulation process.
3. PCM : Select this if connected to 2 channel Digital Amplifier. When playing the disc that has been recorded with audio DOLBY DIGITAL format, so Digital signal will be modulated into PCM 2 channel signal that out from DIGITAL AUDIO Output.
Note : Audio DTS Format can be out in Audio Digital out only if SPDIF OUTPUT is adjusted to RAW. DRC : Used to adjust the differences between low and high level on audio output. Press navigator “ ” or “ /
” button to enter to DRC option and press navigator “ / ” button to select OFF, 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, FULL, then press “ / ” button to activate. EQ Setup : To select frequency response, you can select ROCK, POP, LIVE, DANCE, TECHNO, CLASSIC or SOFT equalizer. Select NONE, jika anda memilih untuk tidak menggunakan Equalizer. Default/kondisi awal pilihan Equalizer dari pabrik adalah NONE. Reverb Mode : To adds different surround effect, you may set the Reverb Mode to the CONCERT, ROOM, HALL, BATHROOM, CAVE, ARENA or CHURCH surround effect. Select OFF, if you are prefer not use Reverb Mode effect. OFF is the default manufacture set of the Reverb Mode. MIC Setup
1. MIC : Used to set MIC terminal option (active or not) of the unit. If you are select OFF, MIC terminal will disable although you are connecting a Microphone to the MIC terminal. Select ON to activate MIC terminal. Select OFF to disable it.
2. MIC Volume : Used to set the Microphone Volume. MIC Volume can be set from 0 until 10.
3. Echo Level : Used to set the Echo effect. Echo level can be set from 0 until 10.
Video
Video setup menu consist of : COMPONENT, TV MODE, SHARPNESS, BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST. Component
1. S-VIDEO : Produces S-VIDEO signal for S-VIDEO TV input.
2. YPbPr : Produces YPbPr video component signal for YPbPr TV input.
TV Mode : If you using TV with 2x horizontal scanning system, you can choose P-SCAN to get more smooth picture. Sharpness : To set the pictures sharpness level. Generally, excessive sharpness adding will reduce the picture detail. There are 3 Sharpness option setting : HIGH, MEDIUM and LOW. Brightness : To set the pictures brightness level. You can set brightness level from -20 until +20. Contrast : To set the pictures contrast level (differences between black and white color). You can set contrast level from -16 until +16.
Screen Saver : When the player without activity or does not receive signal for 4 minutes, Screen Saver will appear. This facility is used to prevent the damage of the display screen. If Screen Saver has comes out for more than 6 minutes, the player will automatically set to standby condition. Select ON to activate SCREEN SAVER. And select OFF to disable it.

DVD PLAYER SETUP INSTRUCTION
SETUP is used to adjust the player configuration. Consist of : GENERAL, AUDIO, VIDEO and PREFERENCE.
1. Press “SETUP” button to go to SETUP main menu.
2. Press “ / ” navigator button to select SETUP menu you want to set (GENERAL / AUDIO / VIDEO / PREFERENCE).
3. Press navigator “ ” or “ / ” button to go to selected setup menu (ex : GENERAL / AUDIO / VIDEO / PREFERENCE) and press “ / ” navigator button to select item that you want to adjust (TV DISPLAY / ANGLE MARK / CAPTIONS / SCREEN SAVER).
4. Press navigator “ ” or “ / ” button to go to menu you want to set and press “ / ” navigator button to select (PAN SCAN / LETTER BOX / WIDE), then press “ / ” button.
5. Press “SETUP” button again to exit from SETUP menu.
General
GENERAL SETUP menu is consist of : TV DISPLAY, ANGLE MARK, CAPTIONS and SCREEN SAVER. TV Display
1. Pan Scan : Select this when connected to normal ratio (4:3) TV screen, wide screen display will automatically be sliced on the left and right side.
2. Letter Box : Select this when connected to normal ratio (4:3) TV screen, wide screen display will be displayed with the black border on the top and bottom of the screen.
3. Wide : Select this when connected to wide screen TV (16:9).
Note : Picture display ratio depends on the disc recorded format. Not all disc can displayed the picture on prefered ratio aspect (depend on the recorded format). You must set TV DISPLAY setting right on your TV type. Angle Mark : Only available when the disc is recorded in many camera angles. Select ON to show angle sign at the right top corner of the screen. OFF to disable the Angle sign on the TV screen. Captions : Select ON to displaying text on the TV screen. And select OFF to disable it.
Karaoke / sing a song (for certain model only)
Karaoke playing : Play the karaoke disc. Connect the Microphone to the MIC terminal. Turn on the Microphone. Set the Volume and Mic Echo level :
1. Press “SETUP” to enter to SETUP main menu.
2. Press “ / ” navigator button to select AUDIO setup menu, then press “ ” navigator or “ / ” button to enter to AUDIO menu, select MIC Setup by “ / ” navigator button then press “ / ” button. Select MIC, press “ ” navigator or “ / ” button to enter to ON/OFF option, pilih ON dengan tombol “ / ”.
3. To change Mic Volume, on the MIC Setup submenu select MIC Volume by “ / ” navigator button then press “ ” navigator or “ / ” button to enter to 0 - 10 volume level option.
4. To change Echo level, on the MIC Setup submenu select Echo Level by “ / ” navigator button then press “ ” navigator or “ / ” button to enter to 0 - 10 echo level option.
5. Press “SETUP” button to exit from SETUP menu.
Channel Select : Ketika memainkan disc SVCD/VCD/CD/MP3/MPEG4, tekan tombol “L/R” untuk memilih keluaran audio tanpa vokal (musik saja), pilihannya adalah MONO LEFT, MONO RIGHT, MIX-MONO dan STEREO. Untuk disc DVD karaoke, anda dapat memilih keluaran tanpa vokal (musik saja) dengan menekan tombol “AUDIO”.
Zoom
This function is used to enlarge the screen display while playing a disc. There are 3 enlarging level, each time “ZOOM” button pressed the picture will enlarged 2 times, 3 times, 4 times. During ZOOM, you can use “ / / / ” navigator button to see the preferred picture part . Press “ZOOM” button to back to normal screen size.

Make sure you has connect other equipment first (TV or AV Receiver) before connecting DVD Player to the AC power outlets.

Using DVD COMPONENT (Y/Pb/Pr) output Note : This unit is equipped with separately Audio and Video output to guarantee the easiest way of connecting your TV or Hi-Fi system. It will be better you connect DVD player to TV. The pictrue quality will decrease if you connect through VCR or other recording devices.

If you only have AV Receiver with “Dolby Pro Logic/Pro Logic II” decoder, set it to PCM (refer to SPDIF output chapter).

Remote Control
Remote Control Battery Installation Insert the battery according to the polarity (+) and ( - ), as shown on the battery compartment.
Remote Control Range : Remote control reachs about 6 meter around the player with visible range about 600 from front panel of the player (see the picture). The range of the remote is effected by the lighting of a room/place. Notes : Do not gleam on the remote sensor receiver with bright lights. Do not place anything between remote control and remote sensor receiver on player cause it would block the light to the remote control. Do not use this remote control with other remote control in the same time.

Inserting SD/MMC/MS card (certain model only) or USB Flashdisk to DVD player
You can play MP3/MPEG4/JPEG that are stored on the USB Flashdisk or SD/MMC/MS Card with insert it to the port USB or SD/MMC/MS Card slot (certain model only) on the side panel of the unit.

When playing DVD/SVCD/VCD/CD disc you can use this function to move to certain title/chapter/track/time. DVD
1. GO TO TITLE/CHAPTER : Press “GO TO” once when play, use “ / ” navigator button to select title/chapter, then insert preferred title/chapter number.
2. GO TO TITLE TIME : Press “GO TO” twice when play, insert preferred time (hour/minute/second) in played title using “0-9” numeric buttons.
3. GO TO CHAPTER TIME : Press “GO TO” three times when play, insert preferred time (hour/minute/second) in played chapter using “0-9” numeric buttons.
SVCD/VCD/CD
1. DISC GO TO : Press “GO TO” button once when play, then insert preferred time (minute/second) in played disc using “0-9” numeric buttons.
2. TRACK GO TO : Press “GO TO” button twice when play, then insert preferred time (minute/second) in played track using “0-9” numeric buttons.
3. SELECT TRACK : Press “GO TO” button 3 times when play, insert preferred track number using “0-9” numeric buttons.
OSD (on screen display)
OSD will display the information of the passed time (ELAPSED) and remain time (REMAIN). DVD disc
1. Press “OSD” once to view the passed time of the played title (TITLE ELAPSED).
2. Press “OSD” twice to view the remain time of the played title (TITLE REMAIN).
3. Press “OSD” three times to view the passed time of the played chapter (CHAPTER ELAPSED).
4. Press “OSD” four times to view the remain time of the played chapter (CHAPTER REMAIN).
5. Press “OSD” again to disappear the OSD until DISPLAY OFF character appear on the screen
SVCD/VCD/CD disc
1. Press “OSD” once to view the passed time of the played track (SINGLE ELAPSED).
2. Press “OSD” twice to view the remain time of the played track (SINGLE REMAIN).
3. Press “OSD” three times to view the total passed time of the played disc (TOTAL ELAPSED).
4. Press “OSD” four times to view the total remain time of the played disc (TOTAL REMAIN).
5. Press “OSD” again to disappear the OSD until DISPLAY OFF character appear on the screen.
Note :
1. For SVCD/VCD disc with PBC function is ON, OSD just view SINGLE ELAPSED and SINGLE REMAIN.
2. For SVCD/VCD disc with PBC function is OFF, OSD just view SINGLE ELAPSED, SINGLE REMAIN, TOTAL ELAPSED and TOTAL REMAIN.
DVD PLAYER OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Turning On, Standby and Turning Off the unit
Turning On : Connect the AC Cord plug to the AC power outlets according to the unit specifications. Press “ ” / “ / ” button on the front panel or press “ / ” button on the remote control to turn on the DVD Player and the unit is ready to operate indicates by ON / HELLO appearance displayed on the display. Standby : Press “ ” / “ / ” button on the front panel or press “ / ” on the remote control, display will shown OFF appearance, followed by STANDBY appearance on the display that indicates the DVD Player is in standby condition. While standby, still there is few current to the unit. Turning Off : To turn OFF the unit permanently, unplug the AC Cord plug from the AC power outlets. Place the AC Cord plug so it is easy to reach and plug/unplug.
Video Mode and System selection
Video Mode and System selection can be done with combining function by pressing “VIDEO MODE” and “P/N / P.SCAN” button. The sequence of the Video Mode and System cycle as shown on the following table below. Press “VIDEO MODE” button to change video output mode of the DVD player to S-VIDEO or YPbPr. Press “P/ N / P.SCAN” button to change the video output system of the DVD player ke NTSC, PAL, AUTO, NTSC-PSCAN, PAL-PSCAN or AUTO-PSCAN. The system changes are depends to the video output mode that be adjusted by “VIDEO MODE” button according to the table below.

Operate COPY and DELETE functions (certain model only)
Used for do COPY process (data/file duplicity) and DELETE process (data/file deletion). COPY function can be done when the unit reading DATA (MP3/MP4/JPEG) disc, by :
1. After DATA disc is read by the unit, press “FLASHRIP” button.
2. On the TV screen appears option : SELECT ALL, CLEAR ALL, COPY and EXIT.
3. Choose the file that will be copyed using “ / / / ” button, then press “ / ” button (to confirm the desirable files).
4. After the files that want to be copyed chosen, point the cursor to choose COPY tab, then press “ / ”.
5. On the TV screen comes up the Flashdisk memory size information that empty or remained.
6. Choose NEXT for COPY process, choose BACK if you want to return to step no 3.
7. If you want to cancel the file election that chosen, so point the cursor to the CLEAR ALL tab then press “ / ” button. Choose EXIT tab if if you like to exit from COPY menu or press “FLASHRIP” button.
8. File result that you are copy will place in FILES folder in the USB Flashdisk.
DELETE function can be done when the unit in DVD function with USB mode choice, by :
1. After USB Flashdisk read by the unit, press “FLASHRIP” button.
2. On the TV screen appears option : SELECT ALL, CLEAR ALL, DELETE and EXIT.
3. Choose file that will be delete using “ / / / ” button, then press “ / ” button (to choose the desirable file). Or point the cursor to SELECT ALL tab (to choose all files) and press “ / ” button.
4. After the files that want to be delete chosen, point the cursor to the DELETE tab, then press “ / ”.
5. On the TV screen will come up confirmation towards the file that will be delete and choices : YES and NO.
6. Choose YES to confirm the file deletion.
7. If you like to cancel the file election that chosen, so point the cursor to the CLEAR ALL tab then press “ /
” button. Choose EXIT tab if if you like to exit from DELETE menu or press “FLASHRIP” button.
Note : The unit can not do COPY or DELETE towards non-multimedia file (example : Ms-Word, Ms-Excel, etc.)

Note : When play DVD disc, you can repeat certain point only in 1 title, when you move to other title this will cancel REPEAT A-B function. When play SVCD/VCD/CD/MP3 disc, you can repeat certain point only in 1 track, when you move to other track this will cancel REPEAT A-B function.
Fast Forward/Reverse
Press “ ” (fast forward) or “ ” (fast reverse) button when play, player will, forward/reverse with 2x faster than normal speed. If the button is pressed again, the speed will increase 4 times, 8 times, 16 times, 32 times and if it is pressed again, it will back to normal.
Next/Previous
Next : When play, press NEXT ( ) button to go to the next chapter (DVD) or track (SVCD/ VCD/CD). Previous : When play, press PREVIOUS ( ) button to go to chapter (DVD) or track (SVCD/VCD/CD).
Track/Chapter Selection
When playing a disc, you can select track/chapter directly using “0-9” numeric buttons. For VCD 2.0 disc, turn OFF PBC function first. To play track 8, press “8” numeric button. Example : For track 18 press “1” numeric button followed “8” numeric button. On the TV screen will display :
Slow (slow motion play)
When play, press “SLOW” button to activate this function. Repeat pressing “SLOW” until you get the preferred speed. Available slow motion speed : 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 then normal for DVD/SVCD/VCD/MPEG4 disc . To return to normal play, press “ / ”.
Step (frame by frame play)
When you play DVD/SVCD/VCD/MPEG4 disc, step is used to play the picture frame by frame. Press “STEP” button to activate step function. Each time “STEP” button is pressed, the picture played frame by frame. Press and hold “STEP” button to play STEP function continuously. Press “ /
” button to resume to normal play.
Audio language
Many DVD disc has soundtrack that recorded in many language. “AUDIO” button is used to select different soundtrack. This button also can be used to select SURROUND sound format that recorced in disc (ex : Dolby Digital, Stereo and DTS). The change the language when play the disc, press “AUDIO” button until appear OSD name character of preferred audio language.
Subtitle
Many DVD disc recorded with multi subtitles. “SUB-T” button is used to select preferred subtitle. To change the subtitle wwhen play the disc, press “SUB-T” button until appear OSD name character of preferred subtitle language. To disappear subtitle, press “SUB-T” button repeatedly until character SUBTITLE OFF displayed on the screen. Note : Not all DVD disc have multi subtitle in some languages.
Camera angle
Some DVD disc provide facility camera angle that enable you to watch the picture in many camera angles. If you set ANGLE MARK to ON (refer to “GENERAL”), so camera icon will be displayed on the screen corner to indicate that there are available camera angle. Pressing “ANGLE” button afterward will change to the next angle and so on.
Playing DVD/SVCD/VCD/CD disc
Play : Press “ ” (open/close) to open the Disc Tray. Insert the preferred disc that you want to play. Press “ ” (open/close) button again to close the Disc Tray. Player directly playing the disc. For DVD disc, on the TV screen will comes up disc menu and DVD symbol on the display lights up. While for SVCD/VCD 2.0 disc onn the TV screen will comes up disc menu. Pause : To freeze the picture temporary (pause), when play press “ ” (pause) on the remote control or press “ ” on the front panel of the unit to freeze the picture playback, press again “ ” (pause) or “ / ” button to return to normal play. Stop : To stop play (stop) press “ ” (stop) button once, so player will remember your last position when “ ” (stop) button pressed (resume). On the TV screen comes up “ ” sign and “PRESS PLAY KEY TO CONTINUE” appearance, press “ / ” button to play from point when “ ” (stop) button is pressed. To permanently stop, press “ ” (stop) button 2x (disable resume function).
Playing MPEG4/MP3/JPEG disc
MP4 is a compression system of the digital video data with MPEG4 international standard and use MP3/AC3 or others audio format. MPEG4 itself is a compression system of digital video data that produced almost equal MPEG2 (DVD) picture quality with smaller size. As sample, used extension is “*.avi”. MP3 is a compression system of digital audio data with MPEG audio layer 3 format that produces data savings 12 - 14 times more than conventional system with equalize CDDA quality that be able to save more than 600 minutes play time. While JPEG disc is a disc that contains many pictures in JPEG format (Joint Photographic Expert Group). Operation mode of MP3/MPEG4/JPEG disc : When playing MP3/MPEG4/JPEG disc, there are 3 operation mode : FILELIST, FOLDER and PLAYLIST. When in stop condition press “PROG” button repeatedly to select the one of the operation mode.
CDDA rip using the FLASHRIP function
With this features, enable you to rip the CDDA to be MP3 file format that is stored to the USB Flashdisk.
1. Plug the USB Flashdisk to the USB terminal.
2. Insert the CDDA disc to be converted to the disc tray.
3. After CDDA had read, press “FLASHRIP” button on the remote control. On the TV screen will displayed FLASHRIP menu.
4. Set the SPEED and BITRATE by entering them using “ / ” and use “ / ” button to confirm the desired SPEED and BITRATE.
5. Select the track to be converted using “ / / / ” navigator button and “ / ” button, if you want to converted all available tracks, choose SELECT ALL.
6. To start RIPPING process, press “ / / / ” button to select START tab, then press “ / ” button. Wait the RIPPING process until it finish.
7. After done, to get out from the RIPPING menu, select the EXIT tab then press “ / ” button or by pressing “FLASHRIP” button once more.
Note : The result of the conversion with MP3 format will be placed on the FLSHRIP folder with POLY_XX.MP3 names format, XX is the sequence number of the conversion.
Volume adjustment and Mute
You can adjust the volume with “-VOL+” button on the remote control to decrease or increase the volume level. If you want to mute the sound press “MUTE” button and press “MUTE” again or “VOL+” button to back to normal.

1. FILELIST mode : Used to play MP3/MPEG4/JPEG disc continuously, not per folder. Press “ / ” navigator button to select track, then press “ / ” to play it. Track can also be selected using “0” - “9” numeric buttons, press “0” - “9” numeric buttons according to the track number. Note : If in one disc containt MP3/MPEG4/MPG/JPEG files, when in stop condition press “PROG” button repeatedly to display MP3/MPEG4/MPG/ JPEG files on the browser.
2. FOLDER mode
- Highlight preferred directory using “ / ” navigator button, then press
“ / ” to select. Or directly select the folder using “0-9” numeric buttons. Example : To select “R & B Inside” press “1” button, then press “ /
”.
- After you select a folder, the content will be displayed.
- Press “ / ” navigator button to select track, press “ / ” to play it.
You also can select track using “0-9” numeric buttons. Press numeric buttons according to the track number. Example : To select 4th track “DISCO INFERNO - 50 CENT”, press “5” button once (as sequence line from top), then press “ / ” button to play it. To select 168th track, press “1”, “6”, and “9” numeric button in sequence.
- Press “ ” navigator button to back to source folder.
3. PLAYLIST mode : Playlist only can be accessed if you has store some track/file. To store track/file, go to the Folder or Filelist operation, press “ /
” navigator button to select track then press “CLEAR” button. With this operation, you can play memorized tracks pereviously on the MEMORY (list of file on the playlist). To running this operation, press “PROG” button repeatedly until Playlist appear.
Another function : Function like VOLUME, PAUSE, FAST FORWARD, FAST REVERSE, NEXT, PREVIOUS and others can be used when playing MPEG4/MP3 disc. Additional function while playing JPEG disc : Function of the remote control button as follow : “ ” : Next Picture, “ ” : Previous Picture, ZOOM : ZOOM (Switch ZOOM Mode), “ ” : ZOOM IN, to enlarge picture when in ZOOM mode, “ ” : ZOOM OUT, to shrink picture when in ZOOM mode, “ / / / ” navigator : to change the picture position when in ZOOM mode. To return to the track list menu, Press “MENU” or “ ” (stop) button at remote control.
Playing MP3/MPEG4/JPEG files through USB Flashdisk or SD/MMC/MS (certain model only)
You can playing MPEG4/MP3/JPEG/certain files that storage previously on the USB Flashdisk or SD/MMC/MS card through USB connector or SD/MMC/MS card slot of the unit. Plug the storage media that you used to stored MPEG4/MP3/JPEG files to the according terminal.
1. USB terminal : a. Plug the USB Flashdisk contains MPEG4/MP3/JPEG files to USB terminal. b. Press “MULTIMEDIA” button on the remote control until display displayed USB to select USB mode. The
unit will read the attached equipment for a moment.
c. For next operational, please refer to the “Playing MPEG4/MP3/JPEG disc” topic.
2. SD/MMC/MS card terminal (certain model only) : a. Insert SD/MMC/MS card contains MPEG4/MP3/JPEG files to the SD/MMC/MS card slot of the unit. b. Press “MULTIMEDIA” button on the remote control until display displayed CRD to select CARD mode.
The unit will read the attached equipment for a moment.
c. For next operational, please refer to the “Playing MPEG4/MP3/JPEG disc” topic.
Note : For the safety of the data that is stored inside the USB Flashdisk or SD/MMC/MS card, you are suggested to change the function to the DVD mode first before unplug it from its terminal.
Program play
Enable you to play your favourite track-track with your preferrable order.
1. Press “PROG” button to enter to PROGRAM.
2. In PROGRAM menu, press “ / / / ” navigator button, then use “0-9” numeric buttons to fill title, chapter or track number.
3. To start the PROGRAM, use “ / / / ” navigator button to select START, then press “ / ” button.
4. If the disc being played is DVD, on the TV screen will display :
5. If the disc being played SVCD/VCD, on the TV screen will display :
6. To exit from PROGRAM menu, press “PROGRAM” until cursor is in EXIT position, then press “ / ” button.
Note : If there is only 1 title in DVD disc, the PROGRAM menu will be the same as PROGRAM menu SVCD/VCD/CD disc. To exit from the PROGRAM operation, press “PROG” to enter to program menu, select STOPthen select EXIT. Other way, press “STOP( )” button twice.
Menu Play (DVD disc)
Disc Menu will be displayed automatically after DVD disc is read. When TV screen displaying the menu, use “ / / / ” navigator button on the remote control to select and use “ / ” button on the remote control to confirm. If there is numeric choice, use “0-9” numeric buttons on the remote control to select directly. To displaying the disc menu while playing, press “MENU” button on the remote control.
Title Play (DVD disc)
While playing DVD disc, press “TITLE” on the remote control to go to DVD title. Use “ / / / ” navigator button on the remote control to select and use “ / ” button on the remote control to confirm. Other ways, you can use “0-9” numeric buttons on the remote control to select directly.
Repeat
This function is used for repeating a specified title/chapter/track or entire disc. DVD disc : When playing DVD disc, title/chapter and entire disc can be repeated. Press “REPEAT” button repeatedly to select repetition mode : CHAPTER / TITLE / ALL / REPEAT OFF (Off the repeat function). SVCD/VCD disc : When playing SVCD/VCD disc, REPEAT function is used to repeat one track or entire disc. Before use this function, for SVCD/VCD 2.0 disc, PBC condition must be in OFF condition. Press “REPEAT” button repeatedly to select repetition mode : TRACK / ALL / REPEAT OFF (Off the repeat function). MPEG4/MP3/JPEG disc : When playing MPEG4/MP3/JPEG/CD disc, available repeating mode are : REPEAT ONE (repeat the current track continuously), REPEAT FOLDER (repeat all tracks in the folder continuously), RANDOM (play all tracks in the current played folder randomly) and CONTINUE (play all tracks in the current folder continuously). Press “REPEAT” button repeatedly to select one of the mode. CD disc : When playing CD disc, available repeating mode are : TRACK, ALL, RANDOM and CONTINUE.
Repeat A-B
This function is used to repeat a certain part of track/chapter/title that you have determined before between starting point and certain end point by pressing “A-B” button. Press “A-B” once to determine the beginning point (A) that will be repeated. Press “A-B” once again to determine the last point (B) that will be repeated. To cancelling REPEAT A-B function, press “A-B” button again .
