Control the video conferencing system. T ouch the top left corner of the screen to:
• Place or end calls
• Select or adjust cameras
• Show or hide the PIP
• Adjust the volume
• Set or use camera presets
• Mute the sound you’re sending to the far site(s)

View the Video Conference
• View the sites in the call and the VSX system screens.
• Use the on-screen VSX controls to control the conference. Touch the upper left corner of the screen to display the controls.

• View computer content along with the PIP.
• Use the Instructor Tools toolbar to control the conference.
View the Windows Desktop
• View just the computer content for faster, clearer annotation.
• Use the Instructor Tools toolbar to control the conference.

• Start or stop sharing the Windows desktop
• Right-click the mouse

Power off the projector lamp and stand by

Using the On-screen VSX Controls
T o display the on-screen VSX controls, touch the top left corner of the whiteboard while you are viewing VSX system screens or the Windows desktop along with the video conference. The controls let you perform many of the same functions as the VSX remote control. See Using Your Polycom Ro om System for more information about these functions.
Using Touch Control
Touch control lets you point and touch the screen to navigate and select.
• When you view the video conference, touch the screen to select buttons or Directory entries.
• When you view the Windows desktop, using touch control is similar to using a computer mouse:
All pens and the eraser must be in the tray in order to use touch control.
Adjusting a Camera
1. Display the on-screen VSX controls, and touch Near or Far.
2. Touch the screen in the areas shown to zoom or
move the camera:

Annotating Content
You can use the electronic pens to write or draw on shared Windows desktop or on video from any source other than your main camera.
• The Windows desktop is shared with all sites as soon as you pick up a pen. If no computer is attached, the whiteboard is shared with all sites.
• All sites can see your Windows desktop and annotations.
• You can use the eraser to remove your annotations.
• The pen or eraser you pick up last is active.
Tips for Using Instructor RP
• To start or stop sharing the Windows desktop during a call, press the right mouse button.
• When you annotate, leave unused pens and the eraser in the tray.
• If annotations are slow or fuzzy when you view the Windows desktop along with the video conference, try viewing the Windows desktop only.
• If the screen is blank and the lamp standby indicator blinks slowly, press to activate the system.
• To save your lamp bulb, press at the end of your call to put the system in standby mode.
• If your annotations do not align correctly, pick up a pen and press the keyboard button. Then, touch the pen to the cross-hairs on the screen to calibrate the system.
