Overview
This document covers Poly Studio E70 (P025).
Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons and damage to property, read all operating instructions and the following safety instructions before using your Poly product.
Warnings
This equipment is intended for indoor use only.
Do not spray liquids directly onto the system when cleaning. Always apply the liquid first to a static
free cloth.
Do not immerse the system in any liquids or place any liquids on it.
Do not disassemble this system. To reduce the risk of shock and to maintain the warranty on the
system, a qualified technician must perform service or repair work.
There are no user serviceable parts inside this product.
This equipment is not intended to be operated by children.
Users must not service any parts in compartments that require a tool to access.
This equipment should be used only on even surfaces.
Keep ventilation openings free from any obstructions.
The ambient operating temperature rating of this equipment is 0-40°C and should not be exceeded.
This equipment is not intended to be directly connected to outdoor cables.
The marking information is located at the bottom of the equipment.

12Vdc / 1.2A from optional supplied PSU 37-56Vdc / 0.35A(Max) from PoE power source
Additional Warnings for Products with a Power Supply
Always disconnect the system from power and telecommunications networks before cleaning or
servicing.
In order to remove all power from this unit, remove all power cords.
This product can be powered by an optional external Limited Power Source (LPS) power supply.
This product must only be used with an external power supply of the type and specification
specified.
Replacement external power supplies can be obtained from the supplier of your Poly equipment.
This system is considered to be Pluggable Equipment Type A.

When connecting to the mains supply, connect only to an earthed supply outlet that is installed near
the equipment and is easily accessible.
Only use the power cables that are supplied with this product, these are correctly rated for this
product.
Do not use a power cord that is damaged. This could cause fire or electric shock. Contact the
manufacturer for a replacement cord, if necessary.
Only use a power cord that is appropriately rated and approved relevant to the country of use.
Installation of the equipment should be carried out by suitably trained persons and must comply
with the appropriate local and national electrical codes.
Additional Warning for Products with Power over Ethernet (PoE) Functionality
If the product is powered using Power over Ethernet, you must use an appropriately rated and
approved networking device, or the power injector identified for use with this product.
Equipment designed to be connected to a Power Over Ethernet (PoE) source must only be
connected to a IEEE 802.3 compliant PoE power source.
Additional Warning for Products that Can Be Wall Mounted
Ensure that the wall is able to support the weight of the product. Use appropriate mounting and
anchoring hardware for the wall type. Failure to provide adequate structural strength can result in damage to the equipment, voiding the warranty, and causing possible serious personal injury. The installer is responsible for conforming to all applicable building codes and requirements of local, state, and federal jurisdiction.
USA
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
