KEEP THIS INSTRUCTION
MANUAL
• Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
• Any use which does not comply with these instructions will invalidate the warranty.
• The wiring system to which the appliance is connected must always comply with the laws in force.
• Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the mains voltage is the same as the voltage indicated on the data label of the appliance and that the power outlet is connected to earth.
• Always turn off the appliance at the on/off switch before unplugging it.
• If the appliance is left unused, always di­sconnect it from the mains. Never leave the appliance unattended with the cable plug­ged into the mains.
• Before performing any maintenance opera­tion, always turn the equipment off.
• Do not pull the power cable out of the socket, but grasp the plug itself to avoid da­mage to the socket.
• Do not allow the power cable to be twisted, crushed, stretched, or come into contact with sharp or hot surfaces.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cable or other important parts of the appliance are damaged.
• Do not use electric extension leads that are not authorized by the manufacturer, as they may cause damage or fire.
• Should it be necessary to replace the power cable, contact an authorized service centre.
• Never touch the appliance with wet hands or feet with the cable plugged into the mains.
• Do not use the appliance when barefoot.
• Never immerse the appliance, the cable or the plugs in water or another liquid.
• Use of the appliance in places where there is a danger of explosions is prohibited.
• Do not use the product with toxic substan­ces.
• Do not leave the appliance exposed to wind or rain.
• Do not place the appliance near a live ele­ment, an electric stove or any other source of heat.
• Do not expose the appliance to extreme temperatures.
• Never let children or people who are not fa­miliar with how the appliance works use it.
• Do not press the buttons hard or with a pointed object such as a pen.
• Always rest the appliance on a stable sur­face.
• Should the equipment be dropped or there be signs of damage, the equipment should not be used and must be taken to a service centre.
• In case of breakdown or malfunction switch off the appliance and never attempt to di­sassemble it, but refer to an authorized Polti Service Centre.
• To avoid prejudicing the safety of the ap­pliance when repairing or replacing acces­sories, use only original spare parts.
• We recommend you use original Polti pro­ducts only, as products from other brands may not be suitable for use in Polti products and could cause damage.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or in­struction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not use if the appliance has been drop­ped, has visible signs of damage or leaks.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be re­placed by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• All the packaging material (cardboard boxes, bags and plastic covers etc.) are po­tentially dangerous and should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Only use the power supply included with the equipment.

• Do not use the battery that is not provided by the manufacturer.
• Pay attention to the battery polarity, the crust of battery discreteness are marked with + - .
• The abandoned battery must break out from the vacuum cleaner and send it to an authorized service center.
• The battery must break out from the va­cuum cleaner when it stores for long time.
• The charger is only suited the battery provi­ded by the manufacturer.
• You must stop using the vacuum cleaner when the battery leak liquor and break out it at once. Use gauze or cotton which is cleanly clean the liquor, give your attention to metal parts. Put the new battery into when cleaned.( Do these operation with gloves and avoid the liquor touch skin).
CORRECT USE OF THE
PRODUCT
This appliance is intended for home use for vacuu­ming solids as described and in accordance with the instructions provided in this manual. Please read these instructions carefully and keep them, as you may find them useful in future.

The crossed-out wastebasket sym­bol on the appliance means that at the end of its useful lifespan, the pro-
duct must be disposed of separately from ordinary household wastes. The user is responsible for delivering the ap­pliance to an appropriate collection facility at the end of its useful lifespan. Appropriate separate collection to permit recycling, treatment and environmentally
compatible disposal helps prevent negative impact on the environment and human health and promotes recycling of the materials making up the product. For more information on available collection facilities, contact your local waste collection service or the shop where you bought this appliance.
DISPOSAL OF THE BATTERY
The batteries supplied contain substances which are potentially harmful to the environ­ment. Before disposing of the equipment, remove the batteries, do not throw them away with household waste but take them to an official collection centre.
The NiMH batteries can explode if expo­sed to high temperatures or are thrown into the fire. Before disposing of the battery, make sure that it is discharged, leaving the equip­ment operating until it is off. Remove the battery as shown in the ma­nual.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Place the battery charger in a dry and ventila­ted location.
• Remove the battery from the vacuum unit
(10) by pressing the battery release button (8) (Fig.1).
• Insert the plug of the battery charger power
cable (13) into a suitable socket: the ON in­dicator light will turn green (13a).
• Insert the battery (8) into the battery char­ger (13) (Fig.2): the red charging light will come on (13b) flashing to indicate that the battery is loading.
NOTE: the first time the battery is charged, allow it to charge for at least 15 hours before using the equipment. Normally, the charging time for a completely discharged battery is around 8-10 hours.
After using the device, wait until the bat­tery has cooled down before charging it.
• When the battery is completely charged, the charging indicator light (13b) changes from flashing to steady.

NOTE: For daily use, we recommend always leaving the battery charger connected and charging the battery whenever the broom is not in use, so that the equipment is always ready and charged. If you do not anticipate using the equipment for long periods of time, disconnect the bat­tery charger plug to avoid wasting energy. It is normal for the power supply to heat up during charging.
The battery is a component that wears out easily and is guaranteed for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
BROOM ASSEMBLY
• Insert the battery (7) in its housing on the vacuum unit (10), pressing until a click is heard (fig.3).
• Connect the motorized brush (12) to the va­cuum unit (10) as shown in Fig. 4, making sure that the 2 contacts on the brush line up with the two holes located on the vacuum unit. Press the two parts until you hear the hook click.
• Connect the handle (1) to the vacuum unit (10) (Fig.5) making them line up until you hear the hook click.
• It is possible to attach the accessory sto-
rage (4) to the handle (1) attaching it so that it meets its seat located on the handle (Fig.6).
USE
• Turn the equipment on with the ON/OFF
switch (6). The equipment will start to va­cuum and at the same time the motorized brush (12) will start working making the bri­stles turn. The combination of the suction and the ro­tating bristles gives the equipment excellent suction power.
All the dirt suctioned is collected in the dirt collection container (11). To keep the equipment’s efficiency high, empty the dirt collection container at the end of every use (11). To empty the dirt collection container, follow the instructions listed in the paragraph “ emptying and cleaning of the dirt collection container (11)”.
The equipment can also be used as a porta­ble vacuum, by holding the vacuum unit (10) by the special handle (9). To best take advantage of the equipment, fol­low the instructions provided below:
• Separate the handle (1) and the motorized brush (12) by pressing the accessory re­lease button (5) (Fig.7).
• Insert the lance (2) in the input of the va­cuum unit (10) (Fig.8). It is also possible to connect the bristle brush (3) to the lance as shown in Fig.8.

Before attempting any maintenance operation, always disconnect the ap­pliance from the mains.
• To clean the body of the appliance, simply use a moist cloth. Do not use solvents or detergents which may harm the body mate­rial.
MAINTENANCE
EMPTYING AND CLEANING THE DIRT COL-
LECTION CONTAINER (11)
• Remove the dirt collection container (11) by pressing the release button (11a) (Fig.9).
• Separate the filter (11b) from the container (Fig.10).
• Separate the filter (11b) from the filter co­ver (11c), by turning it anti-clockwise (open) and pulling it to remove it (Fig.11).
• Rinse the filter (11b) and the filter cover (11c) under running water.
After washing it, shake the filter gently to eli­minate any residue of dirt and excess water. NOTE: allow the filter to dry naturally, away from direct sources of light and heat. It is ad­visable to wait 24 hours before replacing the filter in the appliance. Replace the filter with a new one if it is torn.
• The filter should be replaced every 6 months. Any breakdowns of the product due to failure to replace the filter will not be covered by the guarantee.
• Reassemble the filter (11b) inside the co­ver (11c) and fasten it by turning it clockwise (close).
• Replace everything inside the dirt collec­tion container.
• Reposition the dirt collection container (11) on the vacuum unit (10) by fastening it first into the upper part and then locking it in the lower part until you hear the hook click (Fig.12).
CLEANING THE MOTORIZED BRUSH (12)
Should the brush become very dirty, it is pos­sible to clean its interior. To clean the motorized brush (12), proceed as described below:
• Separate the brush (12) from the vacuum unit (10) by pressing the accessory release button (5) (Fig.7).
• Turn the brush upside down, loosen the screws and remove the cover shown in Fig.13.
• Remove the bristle cylinder by taking the belt off (Fig.14).
• Clean the bristle cylinder of the brush re­moving any dirt residue.
• Reposition everything and close the brush again by performing the operations descri­bed previously in reverse.
