• Unpack the product and make sure it is intact as well as all the accessories listed

• This appliance has been designed only for domestic use.
• This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old, by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or by inexperienced persons provided they are instructed in advance on its safe use and only if informed of the dangers inhe­rent to the product.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• The cleaning and maintenance of the appliance and the battery charger may not be done by children without the supervision of an adult.
• Keep all the parts of the packaging out of the reach of children, they are not a toy. Keep the plastic bag out of the reach of children: danger of suffocation.
• In case the appliance and the battery charger accidentally fall and/or there are visible signs of damage do not use the appliance but have it checked by an authorized Ser­vice Centre as the internal safety features may have been affected.
• In case of breakdown or malfunction switch off the appliance and never attempt to di­sassemble it, but refer to an authorized Polti Service Centre.
• To avoid prejudicing the safety of the appliance when repairing or replacing accesso­ries, use only original spare parts.

SAFETY WARNINGS:
Risk of electric shock and/or short circuit:
- The battery charger is used to charge the batteries located inside the appliance. Do not use the appliance with the battery charger connected.
- The wiring system to which the battery charger is connected must always comply with the laws in force.
- Before connecting the battery charger make sure that the mains voltage corre­sponds to that indicated on the plate data.
- If the battery charger is left unused, always disconnect it from the mains.
- Before performing any maintenance operation, always turn the equipment off.
- Do not pull the battery charger power cable out of the socket, but grasp the plug itself to avoid damage to the socket.
- Do not allow the power cable of the battery charger to be twisted, crushed, stret­ched, or come into contact with sharp or hot surfaces.
- Do not use the battery charger if the power cable or other important parts of the appliance are damaged. Instead, contact an authorised service centre.
- If the battery charger with its relative cable is visibly damaged, replace it imme­diately with a Polti original spare part. Never under any circumstance try to repair it.
- Do not use electric extension leads that are not authorized by the manufacturer, as they may cause damage or fire.
- Never touch the battery charger with wet hands or feet in particular when the ca­ble is plugged into the mains.
- Do not use the battery charger when barefoot.
- Do not use the battery charger near washbasins, bathtubs, showers or contai­ners full of water.
- Never immerse the appliance, the cable or the plugs in water or another liquid.
