Polacolor 100 ID Ultraviolet Film
Unique ultraviolet pattern.
The ultraviolet pattern contained in Polacolor 100 ID film appears randomly across the entire print. It enables you to create an ID card of unprecedented security, and one that can be instantly verified by security personnel for authenticity. The addition of an individual’s portrait and unique textual data to this UV film structure delivers a card that is extremely difficult to copy or forge.
Compatible with all systems using Polaroid 3 1/4” x 4 1/4” film.
Polacolor 100 ID Ultraviolet film works in the same cameras and equipment that use Polaroid’s 3 1/4” x 4 1/4” (8.5 x
10.8 cm) film. The incorporation of the ultraviolet pattern into the film has no effect on the sharpness or overall characteristics of either the portrait or the ID card. Signatures, bar codes, magnetic stripes and all other security and accesscontrol devices and techniques may still be applied to this card.
Photo-destruct bonding.
Polacolor 100 ID Ultraviolet film also forms a virtually indestructible bond when used with Polaroid PolaSeal laminates in “wet” photo applications. Film and polyester are chemically combined under heat. The result is a card that “Photodestructs” when any attempt at tampering is made — neither film nor laminate can be cleanly separated from the other without obvious damage.
Ideal for all-photo and composite ID card applications.
Polacolor 100 ID Ultraviolet film is ideal for all-photo and composite ID card applications. The film is also ideal for other security applications since the film’s UV pattern continues to be embedded into the film, offering a second level of security.
Handheld scanning lights from Polaroid.
Polaroid also makes available compact handheld UV scanning lights. These high-quality lights are battery operated, compact, lightweight and highly dependable.
