Intended use
Use this product to decorate interior and exterior spaces (IP44).
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/ or modify this product. If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
•The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
•Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material for children.
•This decoration must not be connected electrically with other light chains or decorations.
•Always check the product for damages before use. Should you discover any damage, cease use of the product. If you discover damages while the product is in use (i.e. damaged transformer), do not touch the product, risk of fatal injury due to electric shock! First remove the power outlet to which the product is connected from the power supply (flip o the fuse and/or automatic circuit breaker and then turn o the residual current operated circuit breaker to disconnect the power outlet at all phases). Now unplug the transformer from the power outlet. Discontinue use of the product immediately, dispose of it in an environmentally friendly fashion.
•Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
•Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
•If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it
out of operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
– is visibly damaged,
– is no longer working properly,
– has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient
conditions or
– has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
•Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.
•The lights become hot during operation. Keep the product away from highly combustible materials while operating.
•The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
•As power supply, only use the supplied transformer.
•Only connect the transformer to a normal mains socket
connected to the public supply. Before plugging in the transformer, check whether the voltage stated on the transformer complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
•Never connect or disconnect transformers if your hands are wet.
•Never unplug the transformer from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the grips on the plug.
•When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
•Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses a risk of injury.
•For safety reasons, disconnect the transformer from the mains socket during storms.
•This product is designed to be used indoors and outdoors.
•Attention, LED light:
– Do not look directly into the LED light!
– Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
•This product’s flexible power supply cord cannot be exchanged or repaired. If the cord is damaged, the product must be disposed of.

b) Miscellaneous
•Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
•Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.
•If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
Operation
Do not set up or operate the product under water.
Make sure that the cables hang loosely and are not stretched too tightly. Failure to heed this warning may cause the cables to tear.
Do not connect the product to the power supply while it is still in the packaging. Lay the product out entirely before connecting it to the power supply.
Do not hang any objects from the product and do not cover the product.
The LEDs are non-dimmable and non-replaceable.
Observe the following assembly instruction:

1. Fold back the base (at an angle of 90°). Insert the connection piece in the base. Tighten the 3 screws at the base. (1)
2. Insert the crown in the connection piece. Tighten the knurled screw. (2)
3. Connect the plug connector of the power supply to the connection socket at the transformer.
4. Secure the connection by turning the screw cap of the plug connector on the thread at the transformer.
Make sure that the seal at the coupling/plug connector is provided. If the seal is damaged, the product may not be used any longer in the outdoor area.

5. Connect the transformer to the power outlet.
6. The LEDs light up after plugging in.
7. To switch the product o, disconnect the transformer from the power outlet.
The product has no power switch and is always on as long as it is connected to the power supply.
The blossoms can be replaced if they are damaged. Carefully pull o the faulty blossom and insert a new blossom on the LED. (A)
Maintenance and cleaning
•The product is maintenance-free apart from occasional
cleaning.
•Disconnect the transformer from the power supply before
cleaning and allow the LEDs to cool down suciently.
•To clean, use a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt,
slightly dampen the cloth with water.
•Allow the product to dry completely before continued use.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
