Operating instructions
Intended use
Use this product to decorate interior and exterior spaces (IPX4).
The product is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. The
light generates a flickering eect.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or
modify this product. If you use the product for purposes other
than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting,
fire etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this
product available to third parties only together with its operating
instructions.
This product complies with the statutory national and European

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially
observe the safety information. If you do not follow the
safety instructions and information on proper handling
in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will
invalidate the warranty/guarantee
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and
pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These
may become dangerous playing material for children.
• Always check the product for damages before use. Should you
discover any damage, cease use of the product.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong jolts,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it
out of operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe
operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
– is visibly damaged,
– is no longer working properly,
– has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient
conditions or
– has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even
from a low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other
devices which are connected to the product.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought
from a cold room into a warm one. The condensation generated
could destroy the product. Allow the device to reach room
temperature before connecting and using it. This may take
several hours.
• The LED heats up during use. Keep the product away from
highly combustible materials while operating.
• The product can be used outdoors and is splashproof. However,
it must not be used in or under water.
• Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do
not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Do not expose the USB cable to high humidity or moisture.
• Make sure the USB cable connected to the product is not
pinched, bent, damaged by sharp edges or subjected to other
mechanical stress. Avoid unnecessary thermal load to the USB
cable such as via excessive heat or cold.
• Always lay the USB cable so that nobody can trip over or
become entangled in them. This poses a risk of injury.
• Do not use force to connect USB plugs. USB plugs can be
plugged into a USB socket only one way.
• Before connection or charging via the USB port, make sure the
connection values on the product’s rating plate comply with
those of the USB port’s USB power supply
• The lighting unit contains magnets. Keep the product away
from all objects and devices that may be damaged or aected
by magnets (e.g. magnetic strips, credit cards, hard drives,
computers, monitors and measuring devices). Do not use
or store the product next to a pace maker or other medical
devices.
b) Rechargeable battery
• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product
and cannot be replaced.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing
of the rechargeable battery might cause an explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do
not throw the battery or the product into fire. There is a danger
of fire and explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you do
are not using the product. Due to the rechargeable battery
technology being used, you do not need to discharge the
rechargeable battery first.
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
• When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heatsensitive. It is normal that a certain amount of heat is generated
during charging.
c) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or
connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed
exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these
operating instructions, contact our technical support service or
other technical personnel.

Operation
Do not operate the product if it is still in its packaging.
Do not hang any objects from the product and do not
cover the product.
The LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable.
1. Remove the product from the packaging.
2. Charge the battery (see ”Charging the built-in battery”).
3. Press the on/o button on the bottom of the light. The light
will turn on and start to flicker.
4. Place the light cover onto the light. The metal frame should
attach itself to the magnet on the bottom of the light.
5. Place the product on a level surface, e.g. a table or windowsill.
6. Press the on/o button to turn the light o.
Charging the built-in battery
Charge the battery using a USB power source before using
the light for the first time, when the LED indicator flashes
twice upon startup, or when the light does not turn on.
• Connect the micro USB port on the light to a suitable USB
power source using the USB cable provided.
• A full charge takes approximately 4 hours. The LED indicator
turns red when the battery is charging and green when
charging is complete.
• Disconnect the USB cable.
Care and cleaning
• Turn o the product and let it cool down suciently before
cleaning. Before cleaning the product, disconnect it from the
power supply (USB port) and any other connected devices.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleaning agents,
cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, as the material can
be attacked as a result, or the function can even be impaired.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product. For stubborn dirt,
slightly dampen the cloth with water.
• Allow the product to dry completely before continued use.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not
be disposed of in the household waste. At the end of its
service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the
protection of the environment.
