Overview
The wall docking station is a flush mount in-wall dock that allows the Philips TSU9800 control panel to be securely fixed flush in the wall. This allows the control panel to use the wired Ethernet socket on the back of the TSU9800 for reliable communications.
The PWD9800f docking station comes in two pa rts, the wall back box and the control panel caddy / frame.
What’s included
The following items should be included in the PB-PWD9800f product.
1. Back box
2. Caddy
3. Frame
4. USB Adapter cable
5. Caddy / TSU9800 Screws (No2. x 6mm Self tapping)
6. Caddy / Back Box Screws (M3 x 12mm Machine Screw)
7. Torx 6 drive adapter
8. Reset Stylus
Back Box Installation
The back box should be installed into a wall securely using the fixing holes. The front of the back box should sit flush with the finished wall; otherwise longer M3 securing screws may be required to attach the caddy to the back box.
Installation
The PWD9800f caddy is fitted to the back of the TSU9800 to form a secure mounting base for the control panel to be then fitted into the wall. Take the TSU9800 and place it face down on a clean soft surface, on the back remove the four rubber bungs located on the rear of the TSU9800 control panel. Also remove the label to reveal the Ethernet and power connector.

PB-PWD9800f Installation Manual
Once the rubber bungs have been removed they will reveal access to four small Torx 6 screws. These screws should be carefully removed. A suitable Torx adapter bit has been included in the product for convenience. Once these screws have been removed, place the PB-PWD9800f caddy over the back of the TSU9800 and secure in place with the new screws provided. The caddy has a small amount of movement to allow for aligning the front frame.
The USB extension cable can now be fitted as shown. This essentially extends the USB port to the front of the unit to allow the TSU9800 to be kept in the wall during programming or firmware updates.
Once the TSU9800 is screwed to the Caddy the front bezel should be clipped on to test the TSU9800 is aligned correctly before screwing into the wall. Press firmly in the areas shown so the frame sits snugly around the TSU9800. Make any suitable adjustments and then remove the front bezel for attachment to the back box. Care should be taken when removing the front frame.

Offer the TSU9800 and caddy assembly up to the in-wall back box . When fixing the caddy assembly to the back box, use the M3 screws provided and use the hole locatio ns shown in the image below. Care should be taken in not over tightening the caddy into the wall as this could distort the product.
Once the caddy is secured in the wall the frame can be clip ped in place. The reset stylus can be used to reset the TSU9800 if required without needing to remove the controller from the wall.

Power Supply
A suitable 5v DC power supply should be used to power and charge the TSU9800 when in the wall. When installing cabling within a building, it is essential that the correct size cable is used to cope with voltage drop and suitably protected by either a fuse or other appropriate means in accordance with relevant low voltage guidelines for your country. If a Philips TSU9800 is suspected to have a faulty battery or problem, do not install the touch screen panel in the wall. Failure to meet these specifications may cause permanent damage to the wall dock product.
Wired Ethernet
When using the TSU9800 it is possible to use the fixed wired Ethernet connection on the back of the TSU9800. To use the wired Ethernet interface refer to the TSU9800 programming guide for further information. Ensure that a suitable Ethernet cable is installed in the property and terminated with an RJ45 Plug.
