There are POD Point EV charging points popping up all over the UK. This leaet will help you understand how to get the most out of your local POD Point charging points.
What you need to know...

For up to date information on locations and how to join our charging scheme please visit or www.pod-point.com.
Our live availability will be able to tell you current, up to the minute status of your nearest POD Point. There are also highly visible status lights along the side of each POD Point that show whether the unit is charging, available or out of service.
If you have a problem using a POD Point or are aware of any issues please contact 0845 519 1995 for assistance.
Safety Information
› Your charging cable should never be used if it is damaged or has been tampered with. Please check before plugging into a POD Point that it is in good condition. › Do not unplug your charging cable from your car before removing the plug from the POD Point › Please do not force the charging door open without your swipe card. If you lose your card mid­ charge, a simple call to our oce can remotely release the door. › If the door is tampered with during charging or the cable is cut, the power will stop immediately. › POD Points have several RCDs (Residual Current Devices) built in which will safely trip if there are problems with the cable or car. › Never move your vehicle whilst still connected to the POD Point › Never leave your cable trailing or in a position where it could cause a trip-hazard

What you need to know
The POD Point is the next generation in electric vehicle charging.
POD Points can charge two vehicles simultaneously and use standard 3-pin plug points – meaning all electric cars and bikes can use them.
How to use POD Points
Anyone can use POD Point. There are no ddly buttons or complex user interface - just simple icon-based instructions and an easy to read display.
Charging time can vary from car to car, but generally an hours charge from a POD Point should be enough for about 10 miles.
Before you start charging:
• To start charging you will need your charging cable and RFID charging card (see below).
• If you do not have either of these please contact POD Point to join the POD Point Charging Network and we will be able to provide you with a high-spec yellow charging cable and electric vehicle charging card.
• Some POD Points may have restrictions on charging and parking times - please check on nearby signage before starting your charge.
• Please adhere to the safety points overleaf.

Advanced web-based user area
As a POD Point user, you will also have access to our web­based user area:
› view real-time availability of all POD Points › search a specic area for POD Point coverage › view your account and past charges
In addition to this, you can also request POD Point to send your mobile phone an SMS so you know when your vehicle is fully charged. We also have Sat Nav ‘Point of Interest’ les, iPhone and Android apps to help you nd a POD Point wherever you are.
