6. This appliance should be operated only from the type of power source

If you are not sure of the type of power supplied to your home, consult your
dealer or local power company. For appliance designed to operate from battery power, refer to the operating instructions.
7. This appliance system is equipped with a 3-wire grounding type plug (a plug having a third (grounding) pin).
This plug will only fit into a grounding-type power outlet. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician to replace your outlet. Do not ignore the safety purpose of the grounding plug.
8. For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for
long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges.
9. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord.

To ensure safe operation, the three-pin plug must be inserted only into a standard three-pin power outlet which is effectively grounded through normal household wiring. 1. Outline
The PLURA PBM-070/PBM-070X is a comprehensiveand powerful monitor that consists of true black wide screen 7” LCD with LED backlighting technology that graties all type of users. The PBM-070/PBM-070X Series supports HD / SD-SDI, RGB, Component and Composite signals.
The PBM-070/PBM-070X offers an elegant slim design with fast response time for smooth video streaming, high
brightness, contrast ratio, wide viewing angles, accurate color reproduction and quality picture consistency that meets your HD Monitoring application.
The PBM-070/PBM-070X supports an auto calibration mechanism using ICAC (Intelligent Connection for Alignment
& Calibration) and sophisticated calibration tools to adjust and calibrate color temperatures and gamma settings.
In addition the new and advanced Plura PBM-070/PBM-070X supports Closed Captioning CEA (608 / 708), advanced Waveform (Y.Cb.Cr, selectable), Vector Scope (75%,100%), and EBU / User Markers & Source ID display.
The PBM-070/PBM-070X also provides various display functionality such as time code, audio metering display and
offers user friendly menu functions to control brightness, color temperature and EQ function of HD SDI input.

1. Audio Level Meter Display
Set “ON/OFF” and “ Position” from the Audio Level Display Menu. On: Left (even channel), Right (odd channel), OFF : Hide Level Bar Level Meter Position: Position audio display at the top or bottom of the screen.
2) Waveform Monitor/Vector Scope Display
Set “ON/OFF” and “Position” from the W-FORM/VECTOR Button WFM/Vector Position : Position Waveform/Vector from Display Menu( Left Top, Right Top, Left Bottom, Right Bottom) (These functions are available only in SDI, CVBS, S-Video, YPbPr Mode).
Display Position is can be toggled when Up( ) button is pressed.
3) Time Code Display (SDI Input Mode)
Set “ON/OFF” and “Position” from Display Menu Setup. Time Code Position : Position Time Code at the top or bottom of the screen.
5. Input Select Menu
INPUT MODE DISPLAY
These buttons are used to select desired video input or to convert the corresponding video input. Information for selected input signal can be viewed for 3 seconds through Mode Display Window displayed at the left top of the screen.
When Menu control is not ON, if user press Enter button, then currently selected input information appears.
When changing the input signal, there is a possibility that the signal will not be detected, or the mode indication may be incorrect, or the screen size may be displayed incorrectly.

1. Press “MENU” button for OSD Display .
2. Press “ENTER” button after menu selection by using UP ( ) / DOWN ( ) buttons.
3. Adjust status on the selected item with ENTER and UP ( ) / DOWN ( ) buttons.
4. Move to previous menu by using MENU button;
5. Close the OSD screen by holding MENU continuously.
If there is no input signal or no detected signal, the menu might not be displayed.
If you set the menu with an unstable signal status, it may cause an error.
The MENU setting values depend on the input signal mode. Therefore, please check the input mode at the bottom of the menu when changing settings.

•NTSCSetup:Select 0 IRE or 7.5 IRE. 7.5 IRE is used in
NTSC or YUV mode.
•AnalogLoop(Option): This function is only available
on products with the Loop Terminal. Set up On/Off
impedance of Analog Loop output terminals. Yes ->using Loop output. No -> Not using Loop output.

ON -> Operates display at input Pixel size in SD mode. (Not available in HD Mode) OFF -> Scales display to LCD size in SD mode.
•Anamorphic: Makes vertical resize to see Anamorphic
screen(2.35:1) on 720/50P 59.94P mode.
•PaPMain:Selects input of left (main) screen from PaP
(Picture and Picture) mode. Any Input signal can be
selected.(SDI1,2,CVBS1,2,3, S-VIDEO, YPbPr, RGB,PC­RGB,DVI)
•PaPSub:Selects input of right (sub) screen from PaP
(Picture and Picture) mode. Selectable sub source is automatically changed depending on Main Source.

6-2-1. DISPLAY (PC-RGB)
•WFM&VectorPosition: Display’s input signal as a format of waveform on the screen .
Display Position: locates the Waveform & vector scope Position
Display Position can be located in any of the four corner.
This is displayed when PC-RGB signal is selected.
•PCSCAN: Set output status as Fill or Aspect mode.
•V.Position: Adjust vertical position of screen for PC mode
input.
•H.Position: Adjust horizontal position of screen for PC
mode input.
•Phase: Adjust digital sampling phase of SC of input signal
(VGA mode).
•Clock: Used to adjust digital sample clock in PC-RGB
mode. (VGA)
•AUTOAdjust: Used to adjust the best display position
automatically in PC-RGB mode. (VGA)
•PaPMain,PaPSub(Option): Select input of right (Main) /
left (Sub) screen in PaP mode.

Sets Input Color Reference Level in Vector Display. Depending on 100% or 75%, Color, Marker position is changed.
•TimeCodeDisplay(Option):Displays Time Code on the screen in HD/SD-SDI signal input
•PixeltoPixel(Option): This displays native input HD-SDI signal, 1920 x 1080 without scaling down. The
active display can be set to Left Upper, Right Upper, Left Bottom, Right Bottom, and Center.
Depending on the screen size & input signal resolution, pixel to pixel indicator moves as follows.

•ColorTemperature: Set the color temperature or White
Balance on screen among VAR 3200°K, 5400°K, 6500°K, 9300°K, USER.
•VARNumber-> Selectable in steps from 1 to 63 from
3000°K ~ 9300°K
•USER-> Controls each RGB Gain and Bias.
•R,G,BGain: Individually Controls R,G & B Gain in the
User Mode.
•R,G,BBias: Individually Controls R,G & B bias in the
User Mode
•Clock: Adjusts digital sample clock in PC-RGB mode
•AUTOAdjust: Adjusts the best display position
automatically in PC-RGB mode (VGA)

6-6. AUDIO Setup
•EmbeddedAudio(L):Select Digital Audio (L) output from
1 to 16 channels when using SDI input.
•EmbeddedAudio(R): Select Digital Audio (R) output from
1 to 16 channels when using SDI input.
•AudioLevelMeter: Select ON/OFF for the function which
can display the SDI Embedded Audio signal level on a Level Meter on the screen.
•LevelMeterPosition: Select position of Audio Level
Meter as Upper/Lower screen.
•SpeakerSource(Option): Select Speaker between Line
(external input) and SDI (De-embedded).
•SpeakerOutput(Option): Select Speaker output status
among L, R, L/R (stereo)
•SpeakerVolume(Option): Select Speaker output level.
6-7. GPI Setup
Speaker setting menu is used only when the speaker option is present.
•GPIControl:Select external control ON/OFF. It is not
possible to control with Remote terminal when it is OFF.
•GPIPort1,2,3,4,5,6,7: Assign each GPI Port of external
Remote Control Terminal (RJ-45). Double function for
each port is prohibited. Please refer to section 8-1,2,3 for detailed information.
GPI Port 7 is fixed at Standby.
•RemoteIDNumber: Set the number when controlling IR
remote controller (Option).
•SerialRemote: Select whether to use external Serial Port
control or not. Front Key and IR remote control will be unavailable when Serial Remote is ON.
To terminate Serial Remote status (Update, Remote ON): Press Menu button for 3 sec.

•Function1,2:Select the functions to be assigned to
individual buttons F1 and F2. Please refer to section 3-4 for detailed information.
•BackLight: Adjust brightness of LCD Panel.
•FANMotor: Sets ON/Off internal Fan motor. Only available
in 17” model.
•FrontButtonLED: Sets ON/OFF front LED
•UpdateFirmware: Used to update system software
•SetupLoad: This is used to make a group change of the
function values which have been set.
•Factory: To return to the factory default.
•User1,2,3: Menu setting is transferred to the Menu of
1,2,3 to be saved by user.
•SetupSave: Save current menu setting into one of USER
1,2,3. USER 1,2,3 can be recalled by Setup Load.
•FirmwareVersion: System software version.
•OperatingTime: Product operating time
Note: While Back Light is adjusted, LCD panel requires enough time to be stable adjusting
Phase (brightness). It requires more than 30 minutes
