We recommend that you check your PLS2
periodically in order to assure its accuracy.

TO CHECK LEVEL:
Choose two interior walls approximately 15’-0”
apart (see Fig. 1).You can use 2 x 4s for targets.

Turn on the PLS2 to setting #1 (level).With the
PLS2 six inches away from and facing target #1,
carefully mark the center of the line. Label this
mark A1. Swivel the laser 180º and mark the cen­ter of the line on target #2. Label this mark B1.

Move the PLS2 six inches away from and facing
target #2. Carefully mark the center of the line.
Label this mark B2. Swivel the laser 180º and
mark the center of the line on target #1. Label
this mark A2.

You now have two centers of elevation at each
target. Carefully measure the distance between
centers of each set of marks. If there is a differ­ence, subtract one measurement from the other.
This calibration method magnifies any error by a
factor of two.Therefore divide any difference by
two to find the true error.Your PLS2 should have
an error of no greater than 1/8in. within 30ft.

Choose a door jamb with 8’-0” clear on each side
of the door.Turn on your PLS2 laser to setting #2
(plumb).With your laser at point A, make two
marks on the floor: the first at 8’-0” from point A
centered on door header above (mark this point
B), the second 16’-0” from point A (mark this point
C).Without moving the laser, make a third mark
on the door header (mark this point D).

Move the laser to point C, exactly align the beam
with point B, and notice where the beam falls at
point D.If it is within a “light” 1/16” of point D, the
laser is in calibration.

defects in material and workmanship under nor­mal use for a period of one year from the date of
purchase. During the warranty period, and upon
proof of purchase, the product will be repaired or
replaced (with the same or similar model at our
option), without charge for either parts or labor,
through PLS.The purchaser shall bear all ship­ping, packing and insurance costs.Upon comple­tion of the repair or replacement, the unit will be
returned to the customer, freight prepaid.The war­ranty will not apply to this product if it has been
misused, abused or altered.Without limiting the
foregoing, battery leakage, dents or gouges to the
plastic housing, broken optic windows, damage to
the switch/LED membrane are presumed to result
from misuse or abuse.Tampering with or removal
of the caution or
certification labels voids this warranty.

Neither this warranty nor any other warranty,
express or implied, including implied warranties
of merchantability, shall extend beyond the
warranty period. No responsibility is assumed for
any incidental or consequential damages.This
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you
may have other rights which vary
from state to state.

Recomendamos que compruebe su PLS2
periódicamente para garantizar su precisión.

PARA COMPROBAR EL NIVEL:
Elija dos paredes interiores, aproximadamente
con 15' -0” de separación (véase la Fig. 1).
Puede utilizar 2 x 4x para los objetivos.

Active el PLS2 en el ajuste #1 (nivel).Con el
PLS2 a seis pulgadas del objetivo #1 y mirando
hacia el mismo, señale con cuidado el centro de
la línea. Etiquete esta marca como A1. Gire el
láser 180º y marque el centro de la línea en el
objetivo #2. Etiquete esta marca como B1.

Mueva el PLS2 a seis pulgadas del objetivo #2 y
mirando hacia el mismo.Señale con cuidado el
centro de la línea. Etiquete esta marca como B2.
Gire el láser 180º y marque el centro de la línea
en el objetivo #1. Etiquete esta marca como A2.

Ahora dispone de dos centros de elevación en
cada objetivo.Mida con cuidado la distancia entre
los centros de cada conjunto de marcas. Si
hubiese alguna diferencia, reste una medición
de la otra. Este método de calibrado aumenta
cualquier error por un factor de dos.Por lo tanto,
divida cualquier diferencia entre dos para conocer
el error real. Su PLS2 debería tener un error
inferior a 1/8 de pulgada a menos de 30 pies.

Elija un montante de puerta con una holgura de 8'

-0” respecto a cada lado de la puerta Active el
PLS2 en el ajuste #2 (plomada). Con el láser en
el punto A, realice dos marcas en el suelo: la
primera a 8' -0” del punto A marcado anterior­mente en la parte superior de la puerta (marque
este punto como B), el segundo a 16' -0” del
punto A (marque este punto como C). Sin mover
el láser, realice una tercera marca en el montante
de la puerta (marque este punto como D).

Mueve el láser hasta el punto C, alinee exacta­mente el haz de luz con el punto B y fíjese en el
lugar en el que el haz de luz cae sobre el punto
D.Si aparece “luz” a menos de 1/16” del punto D,
el láser está calibrado.

Este producto está garantizado por PLS (Pacific
Laser Systems) al comprador original como libre
de defectos en materiales y mano de obra, en
condiciones normales de trabajo durante un perio­do de un año desde la fecha de adquisición.
Durante este periodo de garantía, y tras pre­sentación de prueba de compra, el producto será
reparado o sustituido (por el mismo producto o
por un modelo similar, según nuestro criterio), sin
cargos por piezas o mano de obra, a través de
PLS. El comprador asumirá los gastos de envío,
empacado y seguros.Tras completar la reparación
o sustitución, la unidad será devuelta al cliente,
mediante la modalidad de envío prepagado.La
garantía no se aplicará a este producto si su uso
ha sido incorrecto, abusivo o si se ha modificado.
Sin perjuicio de lo anterior, las fugas de baterías,
abolladuras o cortes en la carcasa de plástico,
ventanas ópticas rotas y daños en la membrana
del interruptor/LED se entienden como resultado
de un uso incorrecto o abusivo.La alteración o
eliminación de las etiquetas de precaución o de
certificación anulará esta garantía.

Ni ésta ni ninguna otra garantía,
expresa o implícita, incluyendo
las garantías implícitas de com­erciabilidad, superarán el perio­do de garantía. No se admitirá
