Setbacks
In order to provide proper clearance for street cleaning and best positioning for cyclists, the Biker Bar™ should be installed so that the foot rest sits 6” back from the vertical face of the curb.

Installation Instructions – Assembly
TOOLS NEEDED
Tape Measure Marker or Pencil Masonry Drill Bit Drill (Hammer drill recommended) Hammer Wrench 9/16” Level Washers (for leveling if necessary)
RECOMMENDED BASE MATERIAL
Solid concrete is the best base material for installation. To ensure the proper anchors are shipped with your rack, ask your Dero Rack representative which anchor is appropriate for your application. Be sure nothing is underneath the base material that could be damaged by drilling.
Align the Handle Retainers over the Vertical Post so the bolt holes line up. Using two 3/8”-16 x 3” carriage bolts with matching washers and nuts, fix each Handle Retainer to its Vertical Post.

Using two 3/8”-16 x 1/2” grub screws and a 3/16” Hex Key, fix each end of the Handle Bar to the Handle Retainers, ensuring the Handle Bar is fully inserted and no gap remains between the parts.

Align the Foot Rest between the lower, angled posts of the Vertical Post so the bolt holes line up. Using two 3/8”-16 x 2.75” carriage bolts with matching washers and nuts, fix each end of the foot rest to the vertical posts.
