REFERENCE INFORMATION

All Platt cases are under warranty against manufacturing defects, under
normal use, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Any
defect, which is a result of faulty workmanship or materials will be
repaired and returned free of charge. When, in our judgement, damage
is caused by misuse or the guarantee period has expired, we will repair,
if practical, for a reasonable charge. If damage is caused by common
carrier abuse or airline mishandling, claim must be made with that
carrier. Determination of suitability of product for uses and applications
contemplated by Buyer shall be at the sole responsibility of Buyer.

Light-Duty ABS Cases

This series has been a mainstay of Platt’s rugged case line for over 25 years.
Light-duty, black, scuff resistant molded ABS thermoplastic forms the tough
shell of these cases. Foam-filled, extruded aluminum rim, drawbolt key locks
and strong molded handle.

* 1425 has a medium-duty valance

Medium-Duty ABS Cases

Modern look of heavy-duty grained ABS with extruded aluminum frame, these
foam-filled cases have a deluxe golf grip handle, cast chrome key locks and
piano hinge.

* 2005 has a light-duty valance.

Blow Molded Cases

Meet Platt’s low cost solution to “Make-Your-Own” case needs.
These cases are foam-filled and manufactured from prime, high-density poly-

ethylene, with double wall construction. The textured exteriors resist dents,
cracking and scuffs. The shells are unaffected by extreme temperatures.

The hardware features mechanical latches that are field replaceable and a
mechanical hinge system that is made to last.

All cases meet U.S. 94B Specifications as an electrical insulator and are imper­vious to chemical attack.

Guardsman™ ATA 300 Shipping Cases

Heavy-duty black HMW polyethylene material with unique continuous industrial frame based
on Platt's patented Guardsman™ design and construction. All hardware is recessed
for wearability and shipping purposes. Cases come with locking provision, spring

Patented Guardsman™ Design & Construction

Platt’s Guardsman cases are unique and easily recognizable.
Construction features HMW polyethylene thermoplastic sheets bent to
size to form strong but lightweight shipping cases ideal for computer,
video, audio, medical, electronic instrumentation and industrial
equipment. All cases use our UNIQUE CONTINUOUS FRAME
CONSTRUCTION for maximum strength and durability. Cases include
full-length piano hinge, recessed spring-loaded handle and latches.

Foam interiors can be made to your individual requirements using
polyurethane ether or ester foam, polyethylene foam, anti-static,
conductive or static dissipative foam.

Options include different colors, stacking studs, combination lock, fixed
or removable casters, wheels and telescoping handle, key lock,
padlockable latches and conductive polyethylene for protection against
ESD discharge damage.

All orders (EVEN ONE CASE) are quoted by Platt depending on size,
foam interiors, other options and quantity. Call your local distibutor.

Watertight Equipment Cases

Watertight and airtight to 30 feet for the ultimate in protection. Constructed of
light-weight space-age structural resin with a neoprene O-ring seal and exclusive
purge valve. Supplied complete with pre-scored pick-n-pluck foam or padded
dividers (no cutting required). Also includes locking flanges, massive multiple
latches for absolute security and a comfortable molded fold-down handle.
Custom colors and foam inserts fabricated on special order.

#1700 and #1750 supplied with regular foam. Pick-n-pluck is not available.
