Cat6A/7 28-26 AWG Connector Instructions

P/N 106240 – RJ45 Cat6A/7, STP, 28-26 AWG

Remove any cellophane. Determine
your choice of grounding options: use
foil and drain wire or use drain wire
only; and prep accordingly.

Determine your choice of either T568A
or T568B wire conguration (see above
chart) and set all 4 pairs, making ready for
placement in the pair spacer bar.
NOTE: Do NOT separate pairs yet.

Separate all 4 pairs down to the pair
spacer bar, align side by side making
sure color code is correct. Insert
conductors into load bar/liner.

Insert assembly into connector
and ensure conductors pass all
the way to the front end of the
connector. Verify by looking into
front end.

Insert connector into the Tele-Titan
XG 2.0 crimp tool and compress the
handle. The contacts are terminated.

Grounding can be done
using foil, braid, or a drain
wire. Use the rear cavity
of the Tele-Titan XG 2.0 to
crimp external ground tab
onto cable, securing the
ground.

Using supplied pair spacer bar, insert pair
1-2 through left box, pair 7-8 through
right box, and place pair 5-4 in top groove,
pair 3-6 in bottom groove. Orientation will
depend on your wiring sequence. Make sure
spacer bar is placed next to cable jacket.

Slide the load bar/liner all the way down
ush to the pair spacer bar and trim
conductors ush against the load bar/
liner front end using the 5” Side cutting
Pliers, P/N 10531C.
