INSTALLATION
For low pollutant loads, a 1000 ft2 area with an 8 foot ceiling will be best served by the P1000 on the highest fan setting.
The P1000 can serve smaller volumes of indoor air by adjusting the fan setting on the Control Panel to Medium or Low.
Pollutant levels will also determine how much ionization is appropriate to adequately serve a certain volume of indoor air.
For example, a garbage room will require more ionization than a
typical office. The P1000 can be wall mounted by using the mounting holes on the back of the unit. Place the unit as close to the
pollutant/odor source as possible and set your fan speed.

MAINTENANCE
For optimal results, the following maintenance should be performed.
WARNING: Always disconnect power to the unit before performing
any maintenance.
PRE-FILTER
The pre-filter should be cleaned every month.
1) Remove the pre-filter from the bottom of the unit by pulling on the
tab and sliding it out.
2) Vacuum to remove particles and debris.
CARBON FILTER
The carbon filter should be cleaned every 6 months and replaced annually.
1) Remove the (9) screws on the back of the unit, and take off the back panel.
2) The carbon filter is located at the bottom of the unit, just above the pre-filter.
3) Unscrew the carbon filter and vacuum to remove particles and debris.
IONIZATION TUBES
The ionization tubes should be cleaned every 6 months for normal office operation. Heavier pollutant loads may
require more frequent cleaning. The life expectancy of the ionization tubes is 2 years; replace them at that interval.
1) Remove the ionization tubes from the unit.
a) Remove the grate on top of the unit.
b) Push the tube towards its socket and rotate 90 degrees, then pull and it should loosen. If not, try turning the
tube until the grooves are lined up and the tube will slide out.
2) Remove the outer mesh from the tube.
3) Gently brush the outer mesh to remove any buildup.
4) Wipe down the tube with a wet cloth.
5) Put the outer mesh back on the tube and reinstall by pushing the tube back into its socket. Make sure the tube
and mesh are dry before reinstalling.
