installing the POE-165S, please unpack the box of the
POE-165S carefully, and the box should contain the

If any of these are missing or damaged, please contact
your dealer immediately, if possible, retain the carton
including the original packing material, and use them
again to repack the product in case there is a need to
return it to us for repair.

7. Customer Support
The following section describes the hardware features
of POE-165S. Before connecting any network device to
them, please read this chapter carefully.
1. Please ensure the output voltage is correct
for remote device. Otherwise, it will damage
your remote device.
2. Forbid to switch the Power DIP during
operation. Otherwise, it will damage your
POE-165S and remote device. If want
to switch the output Voltage DIP, please
Plug-OFF the “POE In” cable and wait for
5 seconds until the POE LED (Power) is
completely OFF.
3. Please check and assure your Powered
Device (PD) power is through pin 4/5 (+)
& 7/8 (-). Otherwise, it will damage the
Powered Device (PD).
6.1 The POE-165S Installation
1. Select the correct output voltage by DIP Switch to
t the remote device.

Please use Straight cable for Passive PoE Out
port only.
3. Connect standard UTP cable from “802.3af/at PoE
In” port of POE-165S to PoE switch/injector.
