Experienced users and system administrators can follow the instructions in this
document to install either the AX4 or AX5 display controller. Each board provides
two ports for dual-display functionality.
Check the system requirements and the safety precautions on page 3.
Then follow this order of installation for the Dome display system.
1 Install the display controller into your computer.
2 Connect one or two displays to the display controller.
3 Install the display driver.
4 Con gure the display(s).
5 Install the Dome CXtra software.
For more information, refer to the user’s manuals for the display and
the Dome CXtra software.
The port assignments for each display controller
are provided in the following table.

Before You Begin
Check that your system meets these requirements and runs one of
these operating systems.

• Power supply, 350 watts or
greater
Before disconnecting a peripheral or removing
a component from the motherboard, wait 20
seconds after unplugging the power cord to
avoid possible damage to the motherboard.
Wear an antistatic heel or wrist strap when
installing the board to avoid damage to
computer components.
