MODULE I* – The Essentials of Clarity Matrix Installation and Setup

Day 1 – 8:45 am - 5:00 pm

 Clarity™ Matrix LCD Video Wall description and configuration options

o Available models and options
o Recommendations of use
o Connectivity and display capabilities

 Ins and outs of on-wall installation
 Alignment using 6-axis EasyAxis™ system
 Preliminary set-up:

o Cables connection and equalization
o Auto-discovery of LCD modules layout
o Manual color and brightness balancing of video wall

 Basic operation using IR remote

o Quick access to Big Picture™ and other standard display configurations

 Manual sources routing and display layout.

MODULE II * – Matrix Advanced Operation and Maintenance

 Saving and recalling wall configurations in Memory Slots

Day 2 – 8:45 am - 12:30 pm

 Details on sources routing and display configurations
 Advanced operation with OSD user interface
 Dual-link & high resolution inputs management
 Clarity Matrix brightness and color balance tool
 Wallnet™ description and configuration
 Introduction to RS232 serial control
 Troubleshooting & servicing tips.
 Firmware update procedure
 Available resources. Q&A session.

* Although participants have the option of registering for either part of the training, it is recommended to attend the

whole two module course.

Travel Information:

Air Travel:

Albi is situated 85 kilometers from Toulouse Blagnac Airport.

Trip to/from Albi:

Attendees are eligible for Planar preferred rates with Brigitte Héral local taxi company: 100 € for the

one hour trip from Toulouse Blagnac Airport to Albi (at least 50% less than normal taxi fare).

Planar can make arrangements for the taxi to pick you up at the airport (taxi driver will be expecting you

at the arrival gate, exhibiting a Planar sign).

The Mercure Hotel is housed in an 18th century building,
overlooking the Tarn River, typical of the charming Albi
brickwork (the old city center has recently been added to the
UNESCO World Heritage List). Renovated in 2008, the Mercure
rooms offer modern comfort.

Transportation:

Planar organizes a shuttle in the mornings and evenings from the Mercure hotel and back.

Meals:

Lunch is provided as part of training.

Planar will host an optional informal dinner on Thursday night downtown Albi.
