Piper Products Gentleflow Series ARC Service Counters,
designed for custom installation, provide precise
temperature maintenance of cold foods during display
and serving periods. The cold air flow is gentle to avoid
damage to the food, but controlled for thorough and
efficient cooling.
DESCRIPTION
Piper Products Gentleflow Series ARC Cold Food Service
Counters employ a unique air flow system to provide a
controlled blanket of cooled air. This cold blanket holds
the food at or below temperatures required by the latest
sanitation standards. Solid state electronics provide full
control of the system and display operating information
on a real time basis. Five sizes, identical except for
length and refrigeration capacities, are available to
accommodate specific needs.

INSTALLATION
Series ARC units are shipped with all components
mounted on a steel frame and inter-connected, ready for
operation. The unit can be installed by the user through
a cutout in the counter or table top, with the display
section only visible above the top. Cutout dimensions
are shown in chart and drawing. To provide proper
ventilation, louvres at least 16" x 25" must be installed
in all cabinet panels around the condensing unit. The
remote control box can be mounted up to 6’ from the
condensing unit and has cord & plug.

REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
The refrigeration system includes an amply sized condensing
unit which feeds an extra large evaporator coil. An axial fan,
working in conjunction with specially designed ducting and a
stainless steel pan, distributes the cooled air, under the unit.
Good accessibility and sealed electrical areas permit easy and
thorough cleaning. A plastic drain is provided under the unit.
FOOD PROTECTOR
The standard food protector includes a fluorescent lighting
fixture, glass top and ends, and a short front acrylic sneeze
guard.
PERFORMANCE
The electronic management system employs sensors for
air cavity and evaporator to provide balanced precise
temperature monitoring. A digital LED temperature readout
is included, along with switching for various functions. The
system also provides management of the defrost system. The
defrost system is hot gas type and is fully programmable.
Food display temperatures are maintained below 41ºF up to 5
inches above the display base, in ambient temperatures up to
80ºF and RH up to 50%.
OPTION
Piper Products can optionally supply Series ARC units
factory mounted in custom designed cabinets, in a variety
of styles and finishes. Please contact the factory for further
information if such a unit is desired.

CONSTRUCTION
Series ARC units are ruggedly constructed to ensure
maximum durability; and designed for ease of cleaning.
The display section, the refrigeration system and a
stainless steel display surface are mounted on a rugged
stainless steel frame. All components are factory interconnected and ready for operation.
