Please read all of these instructions regarding your display and retain them for future reference.

1 Read this manual fully and carefully be-

fore operating your display.

2 Keep this manual handy as a reference for

operating procedures and safety information.

3 Pay close attention to all warnings in this

manual and follow the instructions carefully.

4 Do not allow other persons to use this sys-

tem until they have read and understood the operating instructions.

5 Do not install the display where it may (i)

obstruct the drivers vision, (ii) impair the performance of any of the vehicles operating systems or safety features, including air bags, hazard lamp buttons or (iii) impair the drivers ability to safely operate the vehicle.

6 As with any accessory in your vehicles in-

terior, the display should not divert your attention from the safe operation of your vehicle. If you experience difficulty in operating the system or reading the display, please park safely before making adjustments.

7 Please remember to wear your seat belt at

all times while operating your vehicle. If you are ever in an accident, your injuries can be considerably more severe if your seat belt is not properly buckled.

8 Never use headphones while driving. 9 To promote safety, certain functions are

disabled unless the parking brake is on, and the vehicle is not in motion.

10 Never set the volume of your display so

high that you cannot hear outside traffic and emergency vehicles.

! To avoid the risk of accident and the potential

violation of applicable laws, the front TV feature should never be used while the vehicle is being driven. Also, rear displays should not be in a location where it is a visible distraction to the driver.

! In some countries or states the viewing of

images on a display inside a vehicle even by persons other than the driver may be illegal. Where such regulations apply, they must be obeyed and this units TV features should not be used.

This unit detects whether your vehicles parking brake is engaged or not, and prevents you from watching TV on the front display while driving. When you attempt to watch a TV, the screen turns to black and nothing is displayed.

Be sure to run the vehicle engine while using this unit. Using this unit without running the engine can result in battery drainage.

About this unit

This unit is a TV tuner for reception of TV broadcasts. Combining it with a separately sold display with AV-BUS lets you enjoy TV entertainment (refer to this units installation manual for details concerning the AV-BUS). The tuner frequencies on this unit are allocated for use in Western and Eastern Europe. Use in other areas may result in improper reception. (This unit is not compatible with channels in France.) This unit features a REAR OUT, letting you watch TV on a rear display (sold separately).

CAUTION

! Do not allow this unit to come into contact

with liquids. Electrical shock could result. Also, this unit damage, smoke, and overheat could result from contact with liquids.

! Keep this manual handy as a reference for op-

erating procedures and precautions.

! Always keep the volume low enough so that

you can hear sounds from outside the vehicle.

! Protect this unit from moisture. ! If the battery is disconnected or discharged,

the preset memory will be erased and must be reprogrammed.

WARNING:

! Be sure to stop driving and park your vehicle

in a safe place before watching the TV.

! Watching the TV while driving is dangerous

and could result in an accident.

! This units REAR OUT is for connection of a

display to enable passengers in the rear seats to watch the TV. NEVER install the rear display in a location that enables the driver to watch the TV while driving.

About this manual

This unit features a number of sophisticated functions ensuring superior reception and operation. All the functions have been designed for the easiest possible use, but many are not self-explanatory. This operation manual will help you benefit fully from this units potential and to maximize your listening enjoyment. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the functions and their operation by reading through the manual before you begin using this unit. It is especially important that you read and observe WARNINGs and CAU- TIONs in this manual.

Video system of a connected component

This unit is PAL/SECAM system compatible. When connecting an external component to this units REAR OUT, be sure the component is compatible with the same video systems. If it is not, images will not be correctly reproduced.

In case of trouble

Should this product fail to operate properly, contact your dealer or nearest authorized Pioneer Service Station.

Resetting the microprocessor

Pressing RESET lets you reset the microprocessor to its initial settings.

Before You Start

The microprocessor must be reset under the following conditions: ! Prior to using this unit for the first time

after installation

! If the unit fails to operate properly ! When strange or incorrect messages ap-

pear on the display

! When setting the position of the operation

% Press RESET with a pen tip or other pointed instrument.

Note

If you reset the microprocessor, memorized broadcast stations and other information is erased, and this unit returns to its initial settings.

Switching the operation mode

This unit features three operation modes: SRC : OSD OFF mode, SRC : OSD ON mode and STAND ALONE mode. Switch the mode according to the combined components.

SRC : OSD ON mode

! Using with a Pioneer head unit featuring

an IP-BUS input.

! Using this units OSD (On Screen Display)

indications in the display.

STAND ALONE mode

! Using with a display featuring RCA video

input.

% Use a thin standard tip screwdriver to switch the operation mode switch.

! After switching, reset the micro-

processor.

Use and care of the remote control

Installing the battery

Slide the tray out on the back of the remote control and insert the battery with the plus (+) and minus () poles pointing in the proper direction.

SRC : OSD OFF mode

! Using with a Pioneer head unit featuring

an IP-BUS input.

! Not using this units OSD (On Screen Dis-

play) indications in the display.

Keep the battery out of the reach of children. Should the battery be swallowed, immediately consult a doctor.

! Use only one CR2025 (3 V) lithium battery. ! Remove the battery if the remote control is not

used for a month or longer.

! Do not recharge, disassemble, heat or dispose

of the battery in fire.

! Do not handle the battery with metallic tools. ! Do not store the battery with metallic materi-

als.

! In the event of battery leakage, wipe the re-

mote control completely clean and install a new battery.

! When disposing of used batteries, please

comply with governmental regulations or environmental public institutions rules that apply in your country/area.

Using the remote control

Point the remote control in the direction of the front panel to operate.

! The remote control may not function properly

in direct sunlight.

floor, where it may become jammed under the brake or accelerator pedal.

This units supplied remote control is mainly for use by rear seat passengers. When using, point at the remote control sensor.

1 CH CALL button

SRC : OSD ON mode

When the TV is selected as a source, or, when the rear TV is on and the TV is not selected as a source: Channel information is displayed on the front and rear display. SRC : OSD OFF mode When the TV is selected as a source, or, when the rear TV is on and the TV is not selected as a source: Channel information is displayed on the rear display. STAND ALONE mode Press to display the current channel and other settings (Confirming current channel and other settings on page 17).

STAND ALONE mode Press to select among two TV bands and to cancel the control mode of functions.

3 MENU button

4 To perform manual tuning, briefly touch c or d.

The channels move up or down step by step.

# You can also perform manual tuning by pressing c or d button.

5 To perform seek tuning, keep touching c or d for about one second and release.

The tuner will scan the channels until a broadcast strong enough for good reception is found.

# You can cancel seek tuning by briefly touching either c or d. # If you keep touching c or d you can skip broadcasting channels. Seek tuning starts as soon as you release the keys. # You can also perform seek tuning by pressing and holding c or d button.

Storing and recalling broadcast stations

If you touch any of the preset tuning keys P1P12 you can easily store up to 12 broadcast stations for later recall with the touch of a key.

Notes

! Up to 24 stations, 12 for each of two TV bands,

can be stored in memory.

! You can also use a and b to recall stations

assigned to preset tuning keys P1P12.

% When you find a station that you want to store in memory, keep touching one of preset tuning keys P1P12 until the preset number stops flashing.

The number you have touched will flash in the preset number indicator and then remain lit. The selected station has been stored in memory. The next time you touch the same preset tuning key the station is recalled from memory.

# To switch between P1P6 and P7P12, touch

or . # When the touch panel keys are not displayed, you can display them by touching the screen. # When P1P6 and P7P12 are not displayed, you can display them by touching LIST.

Introduction of advanced TV tuner operation

1 Function display

Shows the function names.

1 Press A.MENU button to display MENU. MENU appears on the display.

2 Touch FUNCTION to display the function names.

The function names are displayed and operable ones are highlighted.

# To return to the previous display, touch BACK. # To return to the TV picture, touch ESC.

Note

If you do not operate the function within about 30 seconds, the display is automatically returned to the TV picture.

Storing the strongest broadcast stations sequentially

% Touch BSSM on the function menu to turn BSSM on. BSSM begins to flash. While BSSM is flashing

the 12 strongest broadcast stations will be stored in order from the lowest channel up. When finished, BSSM disappears.

# To cancel the storage process, touch BSSM again. # You can also perform this operation by pressing and holding CH CALL on the remote control.

Note

Storing broadcast stations with BSSM may replace broadcast stations you have saved using P1P12.

Selecting the area group

With this unit, channels are preset for each area group. Selecting the appropriate area group for your reception area enables reception of multiple channels.

Watching the television

Only when using this unit with STAND ALONE mode, you can perform the following operations by this unit.

Only the remote control can operate the following functions.

1 Band indicator

Shows which band the TV tuner is tuned to.

2 Preset number indicator

Shows which preset has been selected.

3 Channel indicator

Shows which channel the TV tuner is tuned.

4 Area group indicator

Shows which area group has been selected.

4 To perform seek tuning, press and hold c or d for about one second and release.

The tuner will scan the channels until a broadcast strong enough for good reception is found.

# You can cancel seek tuning by briefly pressing either c or d. # If you press and hold c or d you can skip broadcasting channels. Seek tuning starts as soon as you release the button.

Storing the strongest broadcast stations sequentially

BSSM (best stations sequential memory) lets you automatically store the 12 strongest broadcast stations in order from the lowest channel up.

% Press CH CALL and hold to turn BSSM on. BSSM begins to flash. While BSSM is flashing

the 12 strongest broadcast stations will be stored in order from the lowest channel up. When finished, BSSM disappears.

# To cancel the storage process, press and hold

CH CALL again.

1 Press POWER to turn the TV on.

2 Press BAND to select a band.

3 To perform manual tuning, briefly press c or d.

The channels move up or down step by step.

# You can also perform manual tuning by pressing CHANNEL.

Selecting the area group

With this unit, channels are preset for each area group. Selecting the appropriate area group for your reception area enables reception of multiple channels.

You can display the reception information such as the channel, band and preset channel list. ! Only the remote control can operate this

function.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES

1 Lea todo este manual con suma atención

antes de utilizar el display.

ciones están desactivadas a menos que se active el freno de mano y el vehículo no esté en movimiento.

10 Nunca fije el volumen del display tan alto

que no pueda escuchar el tráfico exterior y los vehículos de emergencia.

Esta unidad detecta si el freno de mano del automóvil está activado o no, y le impide ver programas de TV en el display delantero mientras conduce. Si intenta ver un programa de TV, la pantalla de ennegrecerá y no se mostrará nada en ella. Para ver un programa de TV en el display delantero, estacione el automóvil en un lugar seguro y active el freno de mano.

Para evitar la descarga de la batería

Utilice esta unidad con el motor del vehículo encendido. De no hacerlo, se puede descargar la batería.

No utilice la unidad con un vehículo que no cuente con la posición ACC.

Acerca de esta unidad

Esta unidad es un sintonizador de TV para la recepción de transmisiones de televisión. Al combinarla con un display con AV-BUS (se vende por separado), usted puede ver programas de televisión (consulte el manual de instalación de esta unidad para ver detalles sobre el AV-BUS). Las frecuencias del sintonizador de esta unidad están asignadas para su uso en Europa Occidental y Oriental. El uso en otras áreas puede causar una recepción incorrecta. (Esta unidad no es compatible con canales en Francia.) Esta unidad viene con un REAR OUT, que le permite ver televisión en un display trasero (se vende por separado).

Uso y cuidado del mando a distancia

Instalación de la batería

Deslice y extraiga la bandeja de la parte posterior del mando a distancia y coloque la batería con los polos positivo (+) y negativo ()enla dirección correcta.

ADVERTENCIA

Mantenga la batería fuera del alcance de los niños. En caso de ingestión accidental, consulte a un médico de inmediato.

PRECAUCIÓN

! Utilice una sola batería de litio CR2025 (3 V). ! Extraiga la batería si no piensa utilizar el

mando a distancia durante un mes o más tiempo.

! No recargue, desarme, caliente ni arroje la ba-

tería al fuego.

! No manipule la batería con herramientas me-

tálicas.

! No guarde la batería con materiales metáli-

cos.

! En el caso de que se produzca una fuga de

fluido de la batería, limpie completamente el mando a distancia e instale una batería nueva.

! Al descartar las baterías usadas, cumpla con

los reglamentos gubernamentales o las normas de las instituciones públicas ambientales pertinentes, aplicables en su país/zona.

Uso del mando a distancia

Apunte el mando a distancia hacia la carátula para utilizarlo.

Importante

! No guarde el mando a distancia en lugares ex-

puestos a altas temperaturas o a la luz solar directa.

! Es posible que el mando a distancia no fun-

cione correctamente si lo expone a la luz solar directa.

! No deje caer el mando a distancia al suelo, ya

que puede quedar atascado debajo del freno o del acelerador.

Mando a distancia

El mando a distancia que se incluye es principalmente para ser usado por los pasajeros de los asientos traseros. Al usarlo, apunte al sensor del mando a distancia.

Modo SRC : OSD OFF No se utiliza. Otra alternativa es usar BAND en la unidad principal. Modo STAND ALONE Presione para seleccionar entre dos bandas de TV, y cancelar el modo de control de funciones.

3 Botón MENU

Almacenamiento y llamada de emisoras

Si se toca cualquiera de las teclas de ajuste de presintonías P1P12, se pueden almacenar con facilidad hasta 12 emisoras para llamarlas con posterioridad tocando una sola tecla.

% Cuando encuentre la emisora que desea almacenar en la memoria, toque continuamente una de las teclas de ajuste de presintonías P1P12 hasta que el número de presintonía deje de destellar.

1 Visualización de función

Muestra los nombres de las funciones.

1 Presione el botón A.MENU para visualizar MENU. MENU aparece en el display.

2 Toque FUNCTION para visualizar los nombres de las funciones.

Se visualizan los nombres de las funciones y las que se pueden usar aparecen resaltadas.

# Para volver a la visualización anterior, toque BACK. # Para volver a la imagen de TV, toque ESC.

Nota

Si no se utiliza la función en unos 30 segundos, el display volverá automáticamente a la imagen de TV.

Almacenamiento consecutivo de las emisoras con señales más fuertes

% Toque BSSM en el menú de funciones para activar la función BSSM. BSSM comienza a destellar. Mientras BSSM

está destellando, las 12 emisoras con señales más fuertes se almacenarán en orden ascendente desde el canal más bajo. Una vez finalizada la operación, BSSM desaparece del display.

# Para cancelar el proceso de almacenamiento, vuelva a tocar BSSM. # También puede realizar esta operación presionando y manteniendo presionando CH CALL del mando a distancia.

Nota

Al almacenar emisoras con la función BSSM, se pueden reemplazar las emisoras que se almacenaron con P1P12.

1 Sie sollten sich diese Anleitung vollstän-

! Um Unfallrisiken und Verstöße gegen gelten-

de Gesetze zu vermeiden, sollte die TV-Frontanzeigefunktion niemals während der Fahrt verwendet werden. Darüber hinaus sollten Heckdisplays niemals an einer Position angebracht werden, die vom Fahrer eingesehen werden kann und somit dessen Konzentrationsfähigkeit beeinträchtigt.

! In einigen Ländern oder Regionen kann die

Anzeige von Bildern auf einem Display im Fahrzeug selbst für Bei- und Mitfahrer verboten sein. Wenn derartige Vorschriften vorliegen, müssen sie beachtet werden, d. h. die TVFunktionen dieses Geräts sollten in diesem Fall nicht verwendet werden.

Dieses Gerät erkennt, ob die Handbremse Ihres Wagens angezogen ist und verhindert die Anzeige von TV-Programmen auf dem Frontdisplay während des Fahrens. Wenn Sie dennoch versuchen, die TV-Funktion zu verwenden, wird das Display schwarz und es erfolgt keine Anzeige. Die Anzeige eines Fernsehprogramms auf dem Frontdisplay ist nur möglich, wenn Sie Ihr Auto an einem sicheren Ort parken und die Handbremse anziehen.

So vermeiden Sie eine Batterieentleerung

Lassen Sie unbedingt den Fahrzeugmotor laufen, wenn Sie dieses Gerät verwenden. Bei Verwendung des Geräts ohne laufenden Motor können sich die Batterien schnell entleeren.

WARNUNG

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in Fahrzeugen, deren Zündung nicht mit einer ACC-Position ausgestattet ist.

Zu diesem Gerät

Bei diesem Gerät handelt es sich um einen TVTuner für den Empfang von Fernsehprogrammen. In Verbindung mit einem separat erhältlichen Display mit AV-BUS steht Ihnen uneingeschränkte TV-Unterhaltung zur Verfügung (detaillierte Informationen zum AV-BUS können Sie der Installationsanleitung dieses Geräts entnehmen). Die Tuner-Frequenzen dieses Geräts sind für West- und Osteuropa bestimmt. Der Gebrauch in anderen Gebieten kann zu mangelhaftem Empfang führen. (Dieses Gerät ist nicht mit den Fernsehkanälen in Frankreich kompatibel.) Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Heckausgang (REAR OUT) ausgestattet, über den Sie die TV- Programme auf einem Heckdisplay (separat erhältlich) anzeigen können.

Wichtig

Bitte tragen Sie sofort die 14-stellige eingravierte Seriennummer und das Kaufdatum (Rechnungsdatum) in den beiliegenden Pioneer Car Stereo-Pass ein. Stempel des Händlers nicht vergessen. Der ausgefüllte Pioneer Car Stereo-Pass ist für den Fall des Diebstahls ein wichtiges Dokument des Eigentumsnachweises. Bewahren Sie ihn daher an einem sicheren Ort auf, also keinesfalls im Kraftfahrzeug. Im Entwendungsfall geben Sie der Polizei die eingetragene, eingravierte Seriennummer und das Kaufdatum durch Vorlage des Passes bekannt. ! Auf der Unterseite des Geräts wurde eine

14-stellige Seriennummer eingraviert.

VORSICHT

! Dieses Gerät darf keinesfalls mit Flüssigkeit in

Berührung kommen, da dies einen elektrischen Schlag verursachen könnte. Darüber hinaus kann der Kontakt mit Flüssigkeit eine

Beschädigung des Geräts, Rauchentwicklung und Überhitzung nach sich ziehen.

Videosystem einer angeschlossenen Komponente

Dieses Gerät ist mit den Systemen PAL/SECAM kompatibel. Beim Anschluss einer externen Komponente an den REAR OUT-Ausgang dieses Geräts müssen Sie sich vergewissern, dass die Komponente mit denselben Videosystemen kompatibel ist. Ist dies nicht der Fall, dann werden die Bilder nicht fehlerfrei wiedergegeben.

! Halten Sie Ihr Fahrzeug an und parken Sie an

einem sicheren Ort, bevor Sie die TV-Funktion einschalten.

! Die Anzeige von Fernsehprogrammen

während des Fahrens ist überaus gefährlich und kann zur Verursachung eines Unfalls beitragen.

! Der Ausgang REAR OUT dieses Geräts ermö-

glicht den Anschluss eines Displays, auf dem Fernsehprogramme für die Mitfahrer auf dem Rücksitz angezeigt werden können. Bringen Sie das Heckdisplay NIEMALS in einer Position an, die es dem Fahrer ermöglicht, die TV-Programme während des Fahrens einzusehen.

Zurücksetzen des Mikroprozessors

Durch Drücken von RESET können Sie den Mikroprozessor auf seine Grundeinstellungen zurücksetzen. Der Mikroprozessor muss in folgenden Fällen zurückgesetzt werden: ! Vor der ersten Verwendung dieses Geräts

! Verwenden Sie nur eine Lithium-Batterie vom

Typ CR2025 (3 V).

! Nehmen Sie die Batterie heraus, wenn die

Fernbedienung einen Monat oder länger nicht verwendet wird.

! Laden Sie die Batterie nicht wieder auf, neh-

men Sie sie nicht auseinander, erhitzen Sie sie nicht und werfen Sie sie niemals ins Feuer.

! Verwenden Sie bei der Handhabung der Batte-

rie keine Werkzeuge aus Metall.

! Lagern Sie die Batterie nicht zusammen mit

Gegenständen aus Metall.

! Falls die Batterie auslaufen sollte, wischen Sie

1 Drücken Sie die Taste A.MENU, um MENU anzuzeigen. MENU erscheint im Display.

2 Berühren Sie FUNCTION, um die Namen der Funktionen anzuzeigen.

Die Funktionsnamen werden angezeigt und bedienbare Funktionen hervorgehoben.

# Zum Zurückschalten auf die jeweils vorhergehende Anzeige berühren Sie BACK. # Zum Zurückschalten auf das Fernsehbild berühren Sie ESC.

Hinweis

Wenn die Funktion nicht innerhalb von 30 Sekunden aktiviert wird, schaltet das Display automatisch auf das Fernsehbild zurück.

Speichern der stärksten Sender

% Berühren Sie BSSM im Funktionsmenü, um BSSM einzuschalten. BSSM beginnt zu blinken. Während des Blin-

kens von BSSM werden die 12 stärksten Sender ausgehend vom niedrigsten Kanal aufwärts im Stationsspeicher abgelegt. Sobald dieser Vorgang abgeschlossen ist, wird BSSM ausgeblendet.

# Zum Abbrechen des Speichervorgangs berühren Sie BSSM erneut. # Dieser Vorgang kann ebenfalls durch Drücken und Gedrückthalten von CH CALL auf der Fernbedienung durchgeführt werden.

Hinweis

Durch das Speichern von Sendern mit BSSM werden ggf. bereits unter P1P12 gespeicherte Sender ersetzt.

Cet appareil détecte si le frein à main de votre véhicule est serré ou non, et vous empêche de regarder la télévision pendant que vous conduisez. Quand vous essayez de regarder la télévision, lécran devient noir et rien ne saffi- che. Pour regarder la télévision sur lécran avant, garez votre voiture dans en endroit sûr et serrez le frein à main.

Pour éviter lépuisement de la batterie

Assurez-vous de faire tourner le moteur du véhicule pendant que vous utilisez cet appareil. Utiliser cet appareil sans faire tourner le moteur peut entraîner lépuisement de la batterie.

Quelques mots sur cet appareil

Cet appareil est un syntoniseur TV pour la réception démissions de télévision. Sa combinaison avec un écran vendu séparément disposant dun AV-BUS vous permet de regarder la télévision (reportez-vous au mode demploi de lappareil pour avoir des détails sur lAV-BUS). Les fréquences du syntoniseur de cet appareil sont attribuées pour une utilisation en Europe de lOuest et Europe de lEst. Lutilisation de lappareil dans dautres régions peut provoquer une réception incorrecte. (Cet appareil nest pas compatible avec les canaux utilisés en France.) Cet appareil dispose dune sortie REAR OUT, qui vous permet de regarder la télévision sur un écran arrière (vendu séparément).

PRÉCAUTION

! Ne laissez pas cet appareil venir en contact

avec des liquides. Cela pourrait provoquer une électrocution. Tous contact avec des liquides pourrait aussi provoquer des dommages, de la fumée et une surchauffe de lappareil.

Cet appareil est compatible avec le système PAL/SECAM. Quand vous connectez un composant externe à la sortie REAR OUT de

cet appareil, assurez-vous que ce composant est compatible avec les mêmes systèmes vidéo. Dans le cas contraire, les images ne seront pas reproduites correctement.

! Noubliez pas darrêter de conduire et de

garer votre véhicule dans un endroit sûr avant de regarder la télévision.

! Regarder la télévision tout en conduisant est

dangereux et pourrait provoquer un accident.

! La sortie REAR OUT de cet appareil est utili-

sée pour connecter un écran permettant aux passagers des sièges arrière de regarder la télévision. NE JAMAIS installer lécran arrière dans un endroit qui permet au conducteur de regarder la télévision pendant quil conduit.

Installation de la pile

Sortez le porte-pile de larrière de la télécommande et insérez la pile en respectant les polarités (+) et ().

ATTENTION

Conservez la pile hors de portée des enfants. Au cas où la pile serait avalée, consultez immédiatement un médecin.

PRÉCAUTION

! Utilisez seulement une pile CR2025 (3 V) au

lithium.

! Retirez la pile si la télécommande nest pas

utilisé pendant un mois ou plus.

! Ne rechargez pas la pile, ne la démontez pas,

Mise en mémoire et rappel des stations démission

Si vous touchez une des touches de présélection P1P12 vous pouvez aisément mettre en mémoire jusquà 12 stations démission que vous pourrez ultérieurement rappeler en touchant la touche appropriée.

Lorsque vous touchez à nouveau cette même touche de présélection, la station en mémoire est rappelée.

# Pour basculer entre P1P6 et P7P12, touchez

Introduction à lutilisation avancée du syntoniseur TV

1 Afficheur des fonctions

Il indique les noms des fonctions.

1 Appuyez sur la touche A.MENU pour afficher MENU. MENU apparaît sur lécran.

2 Touchez FUNCTION pour afficher le nom de chaque fonction.

Les noms des fonctions sont affichés et celles qui peuvent être utilisées sont en surbrillance.

# Touchez BACK pour revenir à laffichage pré- cédent. # Pour revenir à limage TV, touchez ESC.

Remarque

Si vous ne réglez aucun paramètre de la fonction pendant environ 30 secondes, laffichage revient automatiquement à limage TV.

4 Pour effectuer un accord automatique, appuyez sur c ou d pendant environ une seconde puis relâcher.

Le syntoniseur examine les canaux jusquàce que se présente une émission dont la réception est jugée satisfaisante.

# Vous pouvez annuler laccord automatique en appuyant brièvement sur c ou d. # Si vous appuyez sur c ou d et maintenez la pression, vous pouvez sauter des canaux démission. Laccord automatique démarre dès que vous relâchez la touche.

Mise en mémoire séquentielle des stations les plus fortes

La fonction BSSM (mémorisation séquentielle des meilleurs stations) vous permet de mettre en mémoire automatiquement les 12 stations démission les plus fortes, dans lordre croissant des canaux.

% Maintenez la pression sur CH CALL pour mettre BSSM en service. BSSM commence à clignoter. Pendant que BSSM clignote, les 12 stations démission les

plus fortes sont enregistrées dans lordre croissant des canaux. Quand lopération est terminée, BSSM disparaît.

# Pour annuler la mise en mémoire, appuyez à nouveau sur CH CALL de façon prolongée.

Precauzioni

su un display installato allinterno di un veicolo, anche da parte di persone diverse dal conducente, potrebbe essere illegale. Se sono in vigore norme di questo tipo, è necessario osservarle scrupolosamente e le caratteristiche TV di questa unità non devono essere utilizzate.

Questa unità rileva se il freno di stazionamento del veicolo è applicato o meno e impedisce la visione della TV sul display anteriore durante la guida. Se si cerca di guardare la TV, lo schermo diventa nero e non viene visualizzata alcuna immagine. Per guardare la TV sul display anteriore, parcheggiare il veicolo in un luogo sicuro e applicare il freno di stazionamento.

Questa unità è un sintonizzatore TV per la ricezione di trasmissioni TV. Combinata a un display dotato di interfaccia AV-BUS venduto a parte, consente di guardare i programmi TV (vedere il manuale dinstallazione di questa unità, per dettagli sullinterfaccia AV-BUS). Le frequenze del sintonizzatore di questa unità sono destinate alluso in Europa occidentale e orientale. Luso in altre aree può dare come risultato una ricezione non corretta. (Questa unità non è compatibile con i canali trasmessi in Francia.) Questa unità è dotata di uscita REAR OUT, che consente di guardare la TV su un display posteriore (venduto a parte).

Uso e cura del telecomando

Installazione della batteria

Estrarre il cassetto sulla parte posteriore del telecomando e inserire la batteria con i poli positivo (+) e negativo () rivolti nella direzione corretta.

AVVERTENZA

Tenere la batteria lontana dalla portata dei bambini. Se la batteria viene inghiottita, rivolgersi immediatamente a un medico.

ATTENZIONE

! Utilizzare esclusivamente una batteria al litio

CR2025 (3 V).

! Rimuovere la batteria se il telecomando non

viene utilizzato per un mese o per un periodo di tempo più prolungato.

! Non ricaricare, disassemblare, riscaldare o

smaltire la batteria nel fuoco.

! Non maneggiare la batteria con attrezzi metal-

lici.

! Non conservare la batteria assieme a materia-

li metallici.

! In caso di perdite dalla batteria, pulire a fondo

il telecomando e installare una batteria nuova.

Il numero toccato lampeggia nellindicatore numero di preselezione e quindi rimane acceso. La stazione selezionata risulta quindi memorizzata. Da questo momento, toccando lo stesso tasto di preselezione sintonia la stazione desiderata viene richiamata dalla memoria.

# Per alternare P1P6 e P7P12, toccare o . # Se i tasti del touch panel non vengono visua-

Memorizzazione delle stazioni di trasmissione più forti in sequenza

% Toccare BSSM nel menu delle funzioni per attivare la funzione BSSM.

Lindicatore BSSM inizia a lampeggiare e, mentre BSSM lampeggia, le 12 più forti stazioni di trasmissione vengono memorizzate, dal canale più basso verso il più alto. Al termine lindicatore BSSM scompare.

# Per annullare il processo di memorizzazione, toccare nuovamente BSSM. # È inoltre possibile eseguire questa operazione premendo e tenendo premuto CH CALL sul telecomando.

Nota

La memorizzazione delle stazioni di trasmissione tramite la funzione BSSM può comportare la sostituzione delle stazioni di trasmissione memorizzate usando P1P12.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSMAATREGELEN

Lees onderstaande instructies over het display goed door en houd ze bij de hand voor later.

1 Lees deze handleiding volledig en aan-

dachtig door voordat u het display gebruikt.

2 Houd deze handleiding bij de hand om be-

dieningsprocedures en informatie over veilig gebruik op te zoeken.

3 Let goed op de waarschuwingen in deze

handleiding en volg de instructies zorgvuldig op.

4 Laat andere mensen het systeem niet ge-

bruiken tenzij ze de bedieningsinstructies hebben gelezen en begrepen.

5 Monteer het display niet op plaatsen waar

het (i) het zicht van de bestuurder kan hinderen, (ii) de bediening of de veiligheidsvoorzieningen van de auto, zoals de airbags of alarmlichten, kan belemmeren, of (iii) de bestuurder kan hinderen bij het veilig besturen van de auto.

6 Net als bij andere accessoires in de auto

mag het display uw aandacht niet van het veilig besturen van de auto afleiden. Als u problemen heeft met het bedienen van het systeem of het aflezen van het display, parkeer de auto dan voordat u aanpassingen aanbrengt.

7 Draag altijd uw veiligheidsgordel als u de

auto bestuurt. Mocht u ooit betrokken raken bij een ongeval, dan kunnen uw verwondingen aanzienlijk ernstiger zijn als u uw gordel niet goed heeft vastgemaakt.

8 Gebruik tijdens het rijden nooit een kopte-

lefoon.

9 Uit veiligheidsoverwegingen zijn be-

paalde functies alleen beschikbaar als de handrem is aangetrokken en de auto stilstaat.

10 Stel het volumeniveau altijd zodanig af

dat u geluiden van buitenaf en sirenes van

politieautos, brandweerautos en ambulances kunt horen.

WAARSCHUWING

! Probeer het display niet zelf te monteren

en voer geen onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan het display uit. Montage of onderhoud van het display door personen zonder opleiding en ervaring in elektronische apparatuur en auto-accessoires kan gevaarlijk zijn en kan leiden tot blootstelling aan elektrische schokken of andere gevaren.

overtreden van geldende wetten te voorkomen, dient u de functie voor de TV voorin nooit te gebruiken tijdens het rijden. De displays achterin mogen nooit op een plaats worden gemonteerd waar ze de bestuurder kunnen afleiden.

! In sommige landen of staten is het verbod op

kijken naar beelden op een display niet beperkt tot de bestuurder. Als dergelijke regels van toepassing zijn, dient u zich hieraan te houden en mag u de TV-functies van dit toestel niet gebruiken.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen

Dit toestel neemt waar of de auto op de handrem staat en voorkomt dat u tijdens het rijden naar de televisie op het display voorin kunt kijken. Tijdens het rijden wordt het scherm automatisch zwart zodat er niets wordt weergegeven. Als u naar de TV op het display voorin wilt kijken, moet u de auto op een veilige plaats parkeren en de handrem aantrekken.

Voorkomen dat de accu leegloopt

Zorg ervoor dat de motor van de auto draait terwijl u het toestel gebruikt. Als u het toestel gebruikt terwijl de motor niet draait, kan de accu leeglopen.

Informatie over dit toestel

Dit toestel is een TV-tuner voor ontvangst van TV-uitzendingen. Als u dit toestel combineert met een apart verkrijgbare display met AVBUS, kunt u TV-uitzendingen bekijken (raadpleeg de installatiehandleiding van dit toestel voor informatie over de AV-BUS). U kunt met de tuner van dit toestel afstemmen op frequenties voor gebruik in West-Europa en OostEuropa. Gebruik van dit toestel in andere gebieden kan slechte ontvangst tot gevolg hebben. (Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor de ontvangst van zenders in Frankrijk.) Dit toestel beschikt over een REAR OUT, waarmee u TV kunt kijken op een display achterin (los verkrijgbaar).

LET OP

! Zorg ervoor dat dit apparaat niet met vloeistof

in aanraking komt. Een elektrische schok kan daarvan het gevolg zijn. Bovendien kan dit leiden tot rookvorming en oververhitting, waardoor het apparaat beschadigt.

! Houd deze handleiding bij de hand zodat u de

bedieningsprocedures en de te nemen voorzorgsmaatregelen op kunt zoeken.

! Houd het volume altijd laag genoeg om gelui-

den van buiten de auto te kunnen blijven horen.

! Bescherm dit toestel tegen vocht. ! Als de accu losgekoppeld wordt of leeg raakt,

zal het voorkeuzegeheugen worden gewist en zult u het toestel opnieuw moeten programmeren.

De microprocessor resetten

Gebruik en onderhoud van de afstandsbediening

De batterij plaatsen

Verwijder de schuif uit de achterzijde van de afstandsbediening en plaats de batterij met de pluspool (+) en de minpool () in de juiste richting in.

WAARSCHUWING

Houd de batterij buiten bereik van kinderen. Roep onmiddellijk de hulp van een arts in als de batterij per ongeluk wordt ingeslikt.

! Als de batterij lekt, moet u de afstandsbedie-

ning helemaal schoon vegen en een nieuwe batterij plaatsen.

! Als u gebruikte batterijen weggooit, zorg dan

dat u voldoet aan de wettelijke bepalingen of milieuregels die in uw land/regio gelden.

De afstandsbediening gebruiken

Wijs met de afstandsbediening in de richting van het voorpaneel.

Belangrijk

! Bewaar de afstandsbediening niet op plekken

met hoge temperaturen of in direct zonlicht.

! De afstandsbediening kan minder goed wer-

ken in direct zonlicht.

! Laat de afstandsbediening niet op de grond

vallen, omdat deze dan onder het rem- of gaspedaal terecht kan komen.

LET OP

! Gebruikt alleen een lithium CR2025 (3 V)-bat-

terij.

! Verwijder de batterij als de afstandsbediening

langer dan een maand niet wordt gebruikt.

! De batterij mag niet worden opgeladen of uit

elkaar worden gehaald en mag niet worden blootgesteld aan hitte en vuur.

! Raak de batterij niet aan met metalen gereed-

schap.

! Bewaar de batterij niet bij metalen materialen.

Afstandsbediening

De afstandsbediening die met dit toestel wordt meegeleverd, is in de eerste plaats bedoeld voor de passagiers op de achterbank. Als u de afstandsbediening gebruikt, moet u deze richten op de sensor voor de afstandsbediening.

1 CH CALL-toets

3 Raak de gewenste zender aan om een voorkeuzezender uit de lijst te selecteren.

Er wordt afgestemd op de voorkeuzezender die u heeft geselecteerd.

# Raak LIST aan als de lijst met voorkeuzezen- ders niet wordt weergegeven.

4 Raak c of d kort aan om handmatig af te stemmen.

De zenders worden stapsgewijs geselecteerd.

# Door de toetsen c en d in te drukken kunt u ook handmatig afstemmen.

5 Om automatisch af te stemmen raakt u c of d ongeveer een seconde aan.

De tuner zal nu zelf de zenders afzoeken tot er een uitzending gevonden wordt die sterk genoeg is voor een goede ontvangst.

# U kunt het automatisch afstemmen annuleren door c of d kort aan te raken. # Als u c of d blijft aanraken, kunt u zenders overslaan. Het automatisch afstemmen begint zodra u de toetsen loslaat. # Door de toetsen c en d ingedrukt te houden kunt u ook automatisch afstemmen.

Als u hierna dezelfde voorkeuzetoets aanraakt, zal de opgeslagen zender uit het geheugen worden opgeroepen.

# Als u wilt schakelen tussen P1P6 en P7P12, raakt u # Als de toetsen van het aanraakpaneel niet worden weergegeven, kunt u ze weergeven door het scherm aan te raken. # Als P1P6 en P7P12 niet worden weergege- ven, kunt u ze weergeven door LIST aan te raken.

Zenders opslaan en oproepen

Als u één van de voorkeuzetoetsen P1P12 aanraakt, kunt u heel eenvoudig maximaal 12 zenders opslaan. U kunt deze zenders later oproepen door de bijbehorende toets aan te raken.

% Wanneer u heeft afgestemd op een zender die u in het geheugen wilt opslaan, blijft u één van de voorkeuzetoetsen P1P12 aanraken tot het voorkeuzenummer stopt met knipperen.

Het nummer dat u heeft aangeraakt gaat knipperen in de voorkeuzenummerindicator en blijft daarna branden. De geselecteerde zender is in het geheugen opgeslagen.

Inleiding tot de bediening van de geavanceerde functies van de TV-tuner

1 Functiedisplay

Deze toont de functienamen.

1 Druk op de toets A.MENU om MENU weer te geven. MENU verschijnt op het display.

2 Raak FUNCTION aan om de namen van de functies weer te geven.

De functienamen worden weergegeven en de functienamen die u kunt selecteren zijn gemarkeerd.

# Raak BACK aan om terug te keren naar het vo- rige display. # Druk op ESC om terug te keren naar het TV- beeld.

De sterkste zenders op volgorde opslaan

% Raak BSSM op het functiemenu aan om BSSM (Best Stations Sequence Memory) in te schakelen. BSSM begint te knipperen. Terwijl BSSM knip-

pert, worden de 12 sterkste TV-zenders opgeslagen, te beginnen bij de laagste zender. Als dit is voltooid, verdwijnt BSSM.

# Raak BSSM nogmaals aan om het opslaan te annuleren. # U kunt deze handeling ook uitvoeren door CH CALL op de afstandsbediening ingedrukt te houden.

Opmerking

Het is mogelijk dat de via de BSSM-functie opgeslagen zenders de eerder door uzelf onder de toetsen P1P12 opgeslagen zenders vervangen.

Het ontvangstgebied selecteren

De zenders die u met dit toestel kunt ontvangen, zijn ingedeeld in ontvangstgebieden. Door het ontvangstgebied te selecteren waartoe uw gebied behoort, kunt u meerdere zenders ontvangen.

Opmerking

Als u niet binnen ongeveer 30 seconden een functiehandeling uitvoert, gaat het display automatisch terug naar het TV-beeld.
