SYST EM SETUP INST RUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing a Pinnacle Home Theater System. Please read these instructions to ensure that you get the best possible performance.
STEP 1: SYSTEM PLACEMENT
Position your speakers prior to connecting any wires. Use the below recommendations as a guide.
TV. The location that places the speaker at the height closest to ‘ear level’ is best.
Recommended Surround speaker placement:
 Shelf or Wall Mounted behind the listening position, equally spaced to your left and right either:  Facing toward the front of the room (widely dispersed sound); or  Facing in toward the listening area (directional sound);  Other locations will provide varying degrees of directional and dispersed (ideal) sound characteristics.
Recommended Subwoofer placement:  Within a few inches of the front left or right room corner (maximum bass output), or along the front wall
(strong bass output and optimum blending with front speakers).
IMPORTANT NOTE
CORRECTLY CONFIGURE YOUR RECEIVER’S BASS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SO THAT ALL SPEAKERS ARE PROPERLY CATEGORIZED AS “SMALL.” IF THE BASS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ASKS IF YOU HAVE A SUBWOOFER, SELECT “YES.” THIS WILL ENSURE THE BEST PERFORMANCE FROM YOUR SPEAKERS AND SUBWOOFER.
SPEAKER PROT ECTION
These speakers are designed to handle a wide range of listening levels. For extra protection against overloads, we have included a circuit that will automatically reduce the output of the speaker when it senses excessive volume level or bass boost. If you notice the volume level suddenly drop, lower your receiver's volume and/or bass control. The speaker will quickly return to normal operation. Both excessive bass and volume level can overload speakers. With reasonable care, however, they will offer years of listening pleasure.

STEP 2: CONNECTIONS
Be sure to observe proper polarity for all speaker wire connections: Receiver PLUS (red terminal) to Speaker PLUS, Receiver MINUS (black terminal) to Speaker MINUS. For the best results, we recommend 12, 14 or 16 gauge wire; consult your dealer for options.
1) Connect your Receiver’s Right Channel Speaker Output to the Right-most (from the front) terminal cup on your LCR Speaker Bar.
2) Connect your Receiver’s Center Channel Speaker Output to the Center terminal cup on your LCR Speaker Bar.
3) Connect your Receiver’s Left Channel Speaker Output to the Left-most (from the front) terminal cup on your LCR Speaker Bar.
4) Connect your Surround Speakers to your Receiver's Surround Speaker Outputs.
5) Connect the RCA cable to your Receiver’s SUBWOOFER OUT jack and to the Line Input on the Subwoofer.
