FAT Drive - Users Guide

Welcome to the realm of Pigtronix! Your new FAT Drive is an analog distortion designed to impart warm,
tube sound overdrive while remaining transparent and true to your guitar’s tone. The FAT Drive is
sensitive to your playing dynamics and will respond musically no matter how soft or hard you push it.

The VOLUME control sets the overall output level. The GAIN control determines how much distortion the
FAT Drive adds to your sound. The “MORE” switch significantly increases the pedal’s gain when put in
the up position. The TONE knob controls a passive low pass filter. When the TONE knob is fully
clockwise, the filter is taken completely out of the circuit, for maximum brightness.

The 18VDC power supply that is included provides a huge amount of headroom and output level. Feel free
to experiment with running this pedal on a standard 9VDC (neg. tip) supply to get even more crunch at the
expense of some headroom and overall output.

DC Power - The FAT Drive comes with an 18VDC, neg. tip power supply. It will also work just fine on a
standard Boss style 9VDC power supply. The FAT Drive does not take batteries.

The FAT Drive will play nice with other gain and boost pedals, so make sure to try placing it both before
and after your other boxes to see which configuration provides the best tone for you.

Pigtronix Limited Warranty:

Your Pigtronix effect pedal comes with a 1 year limited warranty on parts and workmanship. During the
warranty period we will repair or replace, at our option, defective parts or pedals free of charge, and return
them to the owner. Warranty service does not include damaged, modified, or misused pedals and such
pedals will be subject to a standard repair charge.

What you must do: First, contact us directly via email and describe the problem to us. If the problem cannot
be resolved we will have you send the pedal directly to us for servicing.

Warranty Limitations: This warranty does not c over defects res ulting from impro per or unreasonable use, acc ident, unautho rized
tampering or mod ifications; and, warran ty shall be considered void if chassis has been opened.
