334!
A Precision Milliamp Loop Calibrator
WITH Rubber Boot & Rugged Switches WITH Faster Dialing WITH Longer Battery Life WITH Easy (no tools) Battery Changes WITH Larger Display
and easy to use milliamp calibrator. It has the functions necessary to perform the most demanding maintainance and calibration on field instruments.
Source and read milliamps as well as power up and
measure or simulate two wire transmitters. You can also
measure DC Volts to troubleshoot power supplies.
The 334 is functionally equivalent to similar calibrators with
four digit displays, knobs and switches. Improvements over 334s from other manufacturers include
better long term stability, accuracy, reliability and ruggedness plus improved battery life.
The 334 gives you advantages of an updated design while maintaining the familiar, time proven reliability
and ease of use of similar calibrators. The PIECAL 334 is the perfect replacement for your worn out
milliamp calibrators!

With The
334Plus!
A Precision Milliamp Loop Calibrator
PLUS Current Leakage Detector PLUS Automatic Stepping & Ramping PLUS Backlit Five Digit Display PLUS Built-In 250 Ohm HART Resistor PLUS Rubber Boot & Rugged Switches
The Piecal 334Plus builds on the Piecal 334 with advanced features unique to PIE calibrators. Easily find current leaks to gound, deteriorating & damp insulation or corroded terminals with patented loop diagnostic technology (US Patent # 7,248,058). Automated stepping (2, 3 or 5 steps) and ramping lets you set the 334Plus at one instrument and check any other point in the loop.
Get better calibrations with a five digit display to 20.000 mA. You can read the display in dim conditions with the built-in backlight. Additional improvements over 334s from other manufacturers include better long term stability, accuracy, reliability & ruggedness plus improved battery life.
PLUS the 334Plus exceeds the performance of many higher cost calibrators to meet today's most
demanding requirements while maintaining the familiar, time proven reliability and ease of use of similar calibrators. The PIECAL 334Plus is the new milliamp calibrator standard!
Easily troubleshoot loop problems with patented loop diagnostic technology!
Recently calibrated two-wire transmitter controlling at 12.000 mA. Control room reports “Loop Out of Tolerance.”
Problem Indicated
PIECAL 334Plus powers the loop with Current Leakage Detector. Current (0.28 mA) is leaking around the control element due to incorect grounding, corrosion or moisture.
Problem Found & Corrected!
Moisture was found in unsealed juntion box. Loop is operating correctly without costly instrument replacement or recalibration. Hours of troubleshooting saved!
