1 PACKE DEINEN SUBWOOFER AUS

Versichere dich, dass die folgenden Elemente im Lieferumfang enthalten sind:

Der PIEGA Sub Medium passt zu den Ace Wireless Lautsprechern von PIEGA. In den untenstehenden Schritten erklären wir dir, wie du deinen Subwoofer mit deinen Ace Wireless Lautsprechern oder einem WiSA Transmitter verbindest. 2 STELLE DEINEN SUBWOOFER AUF UND

VERSORGE IHN MIT STROM

Starte mit dem Einrichten, indem du den Subwoofer aufstellst und mit dem Stromkabel anschliesst.

Du kannst nun mit dem «WIRELESS»-Schalter bestimmen, wie sich dein Subwoofer verhalten soll:

In der Position «ON» bleiben Wireless-Funktionen aktiv und der Subwoofer kann kabellos mit deinem Ace Lautsprecher verbunden werden oder mit einem anderen WiSA Transmitter. In der Position «OFF» wird die Wireless-Funktion deaktiviert. Für genauere Informationen sieh dir die Bedienungsanleitung auf unserer Webseite an.

Damit die Wireless-Funktion während der Installation aktiv ist, stelle den «WIRELESS»-Schalter auf «ON».

Tipp: Meistens werden Subwoofer zu laut eingestellt. Versuche deshalb verschiedene Einstellungen, und entscheide dich im Zweifelsfall für eine etwas weniger laute Abstimmung.

3 KOPPLE DEINEN SUBWOOFER

Der PIEGA Sub Medium ist eine ideale Ergänzung zu deinen Ace Wireless Lautsprechern. Um den Subwoofer mit einer PIEGA Ace Tx zu verbinden, betätige zuerst die «PAIR»-Taste am Subwoofer. Die Anzeige «PAIR» beginnt zu blinken.

Drücke danach die «PAIR»-Taste am Tx-Speaker. Die Taste «PAIR» beginnt auch da zu blinken.

Die Lautsprecher verbinden sich nun automatisch. Sobald der Verbindungsaufbau abgeschlossen ist (dauert ca. 20 Sekunden), leuchtet die «PAIR»-LED permanent.

5 KONFIGURIERE DEINEN SUBWOOFER

Neben der einfachen kabellosen Anbindung, wird auch das Lautsprechermanagement automatisch für dich erledigt:

Die eingestellte obere Frequenz am PIEGA Sub Medium («FREQUENCY»-Regler) wird entsprechend auch an deinen Ace Lautsprechern verwendet. Dazu musst du an deinen Ace Lautsprechern (bei der Tx und Rx Version) die Einstellung «SUB» verwenden.

Dabei werden die tiefen Frequenzen vom Sub Medium wiedergegeben und alle Frequenzen oberhalb der «FREQUENCY»-Einstellung von den Ace Lautsprechern.

1 UNPACK YOUR SUBWOOFER

Make sure that the following items are included in the scope of delivery:

HOW TO GET STARTED

The PIEGA Sub Medium ﬁts the Ace Wireless speakers from PIEGA or a WiSA transmitter. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions below to start using your PIEGA subwoofer, or refer to the comprehensive manual on our website if you require further information.

2 SET UP AND CONNECT TO POWER

Start by positioning your subwoofer and connecting it to the power supply.

Option: WIRELESS-Mode

Select your preferred mode by ﬂipping the «WIRELESS» switch:

Choose «ON» to enable all wireless functions and connect your subwoofer wirelessly with your Ace speakers or any other WiSA transmitter.

Choose «OFF» to disable all wireless functions. Refer to the online manual for further details.

Make sure the «WIRELESS» switch is ﬂipped to «ON» during the entire installation process.

4 SET THE SUBWOOFER VOLUME

To set your subwoofer’s volume, simply adjust the «VOLUME» knob until you get the desired result.

Tip: Subwoofers are often set too loud. Therefore, try different volumes and, if in doubt, opt for the softer setting.

Our PIEGA sub medium is an ideal addition to the Ace Wireless loudspeaker series. To couple your subwoofer with a PIEGA Ace Tx, press «PAIR» on your subwoofer. The «PAIR» indicator starts to ﬂash.

Then press «PAIR» on your Tx speaker until the «PAIR» indicator equally starts to ﬂash.

The connection is now being established automatically. After approx. 20 seconds, the indicator stops blinking and remains lit when the units are connected.

5 CONFIGURE YOUR SUBWOOFER

Besides easily establishing a wireless connection, using a subwoofer will also simplify the loudspeaker management.

Provided that the «SOUND» switch on your Ace Tx is ﬂipped to «SUB», the frequency settings (adjusted by turning the «FREQUENCY» knob) on your sub medium will be used accordingly by your Ace speakers.

In this «SUB» setting, the lower frequencies are reproduced by the subwoofer while the Ace speakers reproduce frequencies higher than the selected «FREQUENCY».
