The Pico Macom XBS family of single channel professional grade amplifiers
covers all bands including VHF, UHF, and FM frequencies. Automatic gain
control (AGC) circuitry provides a constant output power level independent of
the input level. This “gain-in-reserve” feature is ideally suited for off-air
reception applications since it provides for consistent headend performance
across a wide range of input levels. These low noise and high gain amplifiers provide excellent signal quality with low distortion for trouble-free
operation over wide ambient temperature ranges. Externally adjustable
input and output filter controls allow easy lab re-tuning of an amplifier to
any channel within band including PAL format channels. A precision voltage regulator eliminates performance changes due to loading or power line
fluctuations. Pico Macom backs up this product with its industry leading
5-year limited warranty.
