core material, guaranteeing unsurpassed insertion loss, optimal isolation and return loss performance to 1GHz. This ensures high-quality analog or digital signal transfer and extremely low tap
port-to-port interaction.This equipment is designed for power compatibility with 30, 60, and
90VAC systems with current capacity up to 12A, enabling compatibility with most CATV powering
designs. Designed for the traditional CATV tree and branch signal distribution, the applications
range from CATV residential to MDU and strand, vault, pedestal or lockbox installations in
international and domestic cable distribution systems. In the event of system redesign, all multitaps are designed with removable plate fully compatible and interchangeable, allowing “on-the-fly”
tap value redesign and eliminating the hassle of re-splicing during multitap replacement. All plates
are marked with tap value and direction designations. The outstanding environmental weatherproofing is provided by double tongue in groove interface, triple port moisture seal and non-corrosive powder coated aluminum alloy housing, providing an impressive 15 psi watertight seal for
long life in underground, submerged and salty environments. The multitaps are used in applications requiring the bulk of the input signal passing through one port, while reduced signal passes
from the tapped ports. The splitters and directional couplers provide signal distribution options to
feed multiple distribution legs. All TSHP-series multitap F-port threads are precision machined,
ensuring easy connector installation and removal, and improved port-to-connector interface. High
retention internal seizing pins ensure excellent connectivity to connector center lead.
