Engineered and manufactured to exacting standards, TruSpec’s TSB-1GFR series 1GHz
Premium CATV Digital-Ready splitters provide State-of-the-Art performance virtually unmatched
by competitors’ equivalents. Applications include usage with high-output devices such as cable
modems and telephony in residential applications and local origination modulators used with
surveillance equipment in MDU applications. Our advanced printed board circuitry, including
special ferrite-core material, dramatically reduces the effects of non-linearity and intermodulation
associated with saturated ferrite-cores causing TV tuner overdrive and visible snow and noise in
TV pictures. Capable of withstanding a category A3 6kV ring wave, TruSpec’s TSB-1GFR split-
ters provide protection against costly equipment damage. Overall, these splitters guarantee
unsurpassed insertion loss, optimal isolation and return loss performance to 1GHz ensur ing
high-quality analog or digital signal transfer. TSB-1GFR series F-por t threads are precision
machined, ensuring easy connector installation and removal, and improved port-to-connector
interface. Small aperture flat-ended por ts maximize surface contact and provide an effective
barrier against moisture migration. High retention 24K gold plated 360° round seizing pins maximize center-conductor surface contact to significantly reduce insertion loss and signal ingress and
egress. The TSB-1GFR series splitters feature a solder-back cover-plate to provide the highest
possible EMI-RFI shielding >-130dB eliminating signal ingress and providing a full environmental
seal. A thick tin coating over its zinc-alloy diecast housing ensures excellent corrosion resistance.
Each TSB-1GFR splitter is fully tested at the factory and certified to SCTE standards.
