Get Ready!
Domestic Microwave ovens with no more than 1,500 watts of power
can be used to warm the PICO® MyWarmPet® Heat Pad.
Please turn o any extra functions on your microwave such as grilling,
browning, convections (if available on your microwave).
Please ensure the microwave is clean. Any residue from food or drinks
can result in accelerated heating of the pad which could damage it.
Please place only one PICO® MyWarmPet Microwave Safe Heat Pad in
the microwave at a time.
How to Heat
Remove your MyWarmPet Heat Pad from its cover and place it in your
microwave’s turntable, select full power (no more than 1,500) and
select the appropriate time using this chart.
MICROWAVE POWER TIME
600 – 650 watts 8 minutes
700 – 750 watts 7 minutes
800 – 850 watts 6 minutes
900 – 1,000 watts 5 minutes
1,100 – 1,200 watts 4 minutes
1,300 – 1,500 watts 2 ½ minutes
If your microwave does not have a turntable, please turn the Heating
Pad manually half-way through the recommended time shown above.
After microwave time cycle is nished, please leave your MyWarmPet®
Heat Pad in the microwave for one minute before removal to stabilize
the temperature. Ensure to visually check the unit for any signs of
accidental over-heating before removal (see Safety Warning Section
below). Replace the cover.

CAUTION
MyWarmPet® Heat Pad will be hot at surface temperature of
approximately 65 C / 149 F when heated according to the table above.
If cover is removed, please use a cloth or over glove to handle it. If you
prefer to use your MyWarmPet® Heat Pad without its cover, please
place it under your pet’s bedding and ensure pet cannot have contact
with its surface to prevent burns.
HEAT CYCLE
In the rst 3 hours of use, your MyWarmPet® Heat Pad will
gradually reduce its heat to reach approximately 50 C / 122 F. It
will then remain at this temperature for about 5 hours before it
begins to cool down. Heat cycle will vary depending on the
environment it is being used in. Please do not re-heat the
MyWarmPet® Heat Pad until it has fully cooled down.
CLEANING
Use a damp cloth or spray your MyWarmPet® Heat Pad lightly
with disinfectants and wipe it dry. Abrasive substances or
scourers should not be used.
FOR VETERINARIANS
MyWarmPet® Heat Pad should never come into direct contact
with an animal. At all times, heat pad should be covered with a
cover, cloth, or suitable bedding to protect the animal from burn.
The use of this product is not recommended with animals that
are anesthetized or unconscious as they cannot react to thermal
discomfort.
Recovering animals which use this product should be monitored
for their ability to move away from the unit should any
discomfort arise. Never reheat MyWarmPet® until it has fully
cooled down.

WARNING
Do not exceed the recommended heating times as overheating
will damage your MyWarmPet® Heat Pad and may result in injury
or burn.
Do not allow animals or bite or chew the unit.
Contents inside the MyWarmPet® Heat Pad will always react in a
predictable way to heat. If used correct, unit will never distort or
leak prematurely. If distortion or leak occurs, it has been
overheated.
MyWarmPet® Heat Pad contains solid, non-toxic formula. During
heating, about 10% of its content will become liquid and rest will
remain solid. Overheating beyond 300% of the recommended
time will result the content to melt and possibly leak.
Overheating will not result in an “explosion” – it will simply leak. If
the unit seems damaged, deformed, or leakage is apparent,
overheating has occurred and it will be dangerously hot. Do
not open the microwave door until unit has cooled down – you
should not attempt to touch, remove, or clean the leakage until
unit has fully cooled down. When cool, any leakage of content
can be removed from hard surfaces with hot water or scraped o
with a suitable non-scratch object.
Do not allow children to heat up the MyWarmPet® Heat Pad
unless properly supervised. Do not heat in a conventional oven
or by any other method than described above. PICO® Pet, its
agents, and distributers are not liable for any incidental or
consequential damage arising from the use of this product. It is
recommended that you replace the unit after 3 years.
