Unpack the photoboxx equipment.

Connect the bottom stand to the base.

Open front door and locate the tab
at the bottom of the printer.

Lift and pull to slide the printer
drawer open.

Pull blue lever.

Lift scrap box straight up and out.

Push roll of paper down to feed into
printer; stop when you hear the beeps.

Place scrap box back into the printer.

Close printer and slide printer
drawer closed.

Printer should print multiple blank
sheets of paper and then be ready to
print. If not, see page 10.

Close the front door.
Download the Socialdrip app from
the App Store on your mobile device.
Open the app and follow instructions
to configure the internet connectivity.

Light should be flashing green
indicating you need to connect to
WiFi or an Ethernet connection.
Start your event.

HELPFUL TIPS
• Connect to a fast and reliable wifi connection [at least 3 mbps].
• Always replace ribbon and paper together.
• Always empty the scrap box before transporting or shipping your photoboxx.
IF POSTS ARE NOT PRINTING...
• Make sure attendees' social media accounts are set to public. [Photoboxx doesn't print private posts to
protect users' privacy].
• Make sure that the printer is connected to internet, with at least 3 mbps speed.
• Make sure hashtag is spelled correctly.
• Make sure the post is not too old. Photoboxx will not print old posts, only new posts with the hashtag.
• Make sure printer doesn't have an error light [see diagram on next page].

REPLACING
RIBBON &
PAPER
Steps 1-15

Remove ribbon tray from top of printer.

Remove old ribbon from tray and
discard into trash.

Place new ribbon into tray. The roll will
fit securely into the notches of the tray.

Place ribbon tray back into printer.

Pull lever.
Always replace
paper and ribbon at
the same time.

Remove and empty scrap box.

Remove old paper roll from printer.

Remove black plastic end caps.

Discard of old paper roll.

Insert end caps into new roll of
paper with a push and twist.
There should be no
gaps between paper
roll and end caps.

Insert paper roll into printer [drop in].

Push roll of paper down to feed into
printer, stop when you hear the beeps.

Place scrap box back into printer.

Close printer door.
