INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Phonic Jubi
12A or Jubi 15A active loudspeakers. The Jubi’s 700
Watt (continuous) amplier uses both Class D and AB
technology to produce up to a shattering 126 dB maximum
SPL. This provides sufcient power for a wide range of
venues, large and small. Jubi’s stylish polymer enclosure
also improves acoustical accuracy by minimizing distortion
and diffraction. Finally, reliability and durability was the
paramount factor throughout the Jubi’s development.
With 700 Watts of ground shaking power, a 2-channel onboard mixer, custom engineered transducers, and great
versatility, the Jubi active loudspeakers simply excel.
Woofers and Tweeters Engineered Right
Unlike many other speaker manufactures that use preassembled OEM woofers and tweeters, Jubi transducers
are designed from scratch, in-house, by Phonic.
Everything, from the cone pulp formula and the curvature
of the tweeter’s titanium membrane to the characteristic
of the magnetic eld, is uniquely Phonic, uniquely Jubi.
Jubi’s state-of-the-art 12” or 15” woofer has a distinctly
high BL force factor and a long-throw extension which
produce marvelously deep and dened bass traditionally
unattainable in small enclosures. The 1” compression
tweeter and 95 degree conical horn complete the Jubi’s
vivid, transparent sound signature.
Advanced Electronics. Advanced Reliability
With over 35 years of experience, Phonic has few
equals when it comes to advanced electrical engineering
technology. With the Jubi series, this cumulated expertise
is on display. Core features include:
● Time alignment and phase correction: In listening
tests, many notice that the Jubi seems more “real”
or more “live” than other speakers. This is because
Phonic’s active electronics ensure that sounds from
the Jubi hit listeners’ ears at the precise moments the
original recording intended.
● High Dampening Factor and Woofer Stabilization:
The Jubi has a high amplifier dampening factor to
ensure that the woofer reaches optimal excursion.
Additionally, Phonic engineers added circuitry to
manage the speaker’s electrical feedback, in effect,
stabilizing woofer movement. The high amplifier
dampening factor and stabilization circuitry give the
Jubi its spectacular bass depth and clarity.
● Transducer Protection: Active electronics oversee
tweeter and woofer excursion, preventing audio
artifacts, distortion, and speaker damage.
● 4th order, phase-accurate, Linkwitz-Riley crossover
● Thermal protection: Precautionary feature that cuts off
the Jubi in case of overheating.
With experience and technology comes excellent
performance and reliability. But you can never be too
careful. As of the launch date, the Jubi has logged more
than 1000 hours of real world and lab tests, guaranteeing
a remarkable level of reliability. From heated ovens,
freezing subzero rooms, high humidity chambers, to
electrical voltage spikes, the Jubi has endured it all.

SYSTEM OVERVIEW
1. XLR Input Jacks
Jubi speakers are design to accept microphone level signals through XLR jacks (balanced or unbalanced). The
level of this input’s signal is affected by the mic/line volume control.
2. Mic/Line Volume Control
This control allows you to adjust the incoming signal from
the Mic input jacks. Setting them to the left-most position
(-∞ dB) will completely cut the incoming signal, whereas
the right-most position will add 10dB of boost to the signal.
3. Line Input Jack
This balanced ¼” phone jack accepts line-level signals
from external devices. The incoming signal level can be
adjusted using the line volume control.
4. Line Volume Control
This control allows you to adjust the incoming signal from
the both the line input and RCA input jacks. Setting them
to the left-most position (-∞ dB) will completely cut the
incoming signals, whereas the right-most position will add
10dB of boost to the signals.
5. Line Output
The XLR line output will send the nal mix of the channel
1 and 2 input signals, allowing the signals to be employed
by additional speakers or other devices. Do not under any
circumstances connect this output connector to the input
of the same unit. This will cause an audio loop at frequencies and levels that will be extremely unpleasant.
6. EQ High
This control gives the user control of high frequencies
(12kHz) in their audio. This allows for a total of 10 dB of
boost or cut.
7. EQ Low
This control gives the user control of low frequencies
(80Hz) in their audio. This allows for a total of 10 dB of
boost or cut.
8. LED Indicators
When any signal is received through the Jubi, the channel’s Sig/Clip indicator will light up green. When that signal then reaches high peaks, slightly before the onboard
limiter kicks in, it will then ash red. In this event, we suggest lowering the output level of your source signal. The
Power LED underneath the Sig/Clip LED will light up blue
when the power is on.
9. AC Power Connector
Connect the included AC power cable to this connector
and into a suitable power source allowing the unit to be
powered. This connector also contains the Jubi’s fuse. If
the fuse blows, please replace it with an identical fuse.
10. Power Switch
This switch will turn the Jubi speaker on and off.

INTRODUCCIÓN
Felicitaciones por la compra de los altavoces activos
Phonic Jubi 12A o 15A de Jubi (continuous) de 700 vatios
utiliza tecnología de clase D para producir un aplastante
126dB SPL máximo, proporcionando suciente energía
para una amplia gama de tipos y tamaños de conciertos..
Un diseño ligero y montajes en poste robustos hacen que

DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL DEL SISTEMA
1. Conector Jacks XLR de entrada
Altavoces Jubi están diseñados para aceptar señales
de micrófono a través de tomas XLR (simétricas o
asimétricas). El nivel de la señal de entrada es afectada
por el control de volumen de micrófono / línea.
2. Control de volumen Mic / Línea
Este control le permite ajustar la señal de entrada de los
conectores jacks. Estableciendo su valor a la posición
más a la izquierda (- ∞ dB) cortará completamente la
señal entrante, mientras que la posición más a la derecha
a añadirá 10 dB de aumento en la señal.
3. Jack de entrada de línea
Este Jack equilibrado de 6.35mm acepta señales de nivel
de línea de dispositivos externos. El nivel de la señal

4. Control de volumen

6. EQ High

(12 kHz) en su audio. Esto permite un total de 10 dB de
aumento o corte.
7. EQ Low
Este control da al usuario el control de frecuencias bajas
(80 Hz) en su audio. Esto permite un total de 10 dB de
aumento o corte.
8. Los indicadores LED
Cuando cualquier señal se recibe a través del Jubi,
el indicador de canal Sig / Clip se iluminará en verde.
Cuando la señal llega entonces a picos altos, (un poco
antes que limitador incorporado sea activado), entonces
parpadeará en rojo. En este caso, se sugiere reducir el
nivel de salida de la señal de origen. El LED debajo del
LED Sig / Clip se ilumina en azul cuando la unidad está
encendida.
9. Conector de alimentación CA
Conectar el cable de alimentación de CA a este conector
y en una fuente de energía adecuada que permita que
la unidad se alimenta. Este conector también contiene el
fusible de Jubi. Si el fusible se funde, por favor remplácelo
con un fusible idéntico.
10. Interruptor de encendido
Este interruptor activa el altavoz Jubi.
