PHITS is a kit developed by Phonema to improve the communication speakers. Thanks to the combination
of different densities materials, a more rigid box is achieved and reverberation is eliminated in more than 47
dB. The result is a pure, clear and more intelligible sound.
PHITS installs easily, without modifying the original speaker. The acoustic panels perfectly fit inside the
speaker.

Benefits
Phits Y-101A is a new model designed for the
Yaesu speaker SP-20.
All plates have been modified with the combination
of Esvacel HD1000 and Esvapur AG150. In
addition, the Basotect foam by Basf was added to
offer a better result.
The absence of acoustic criteria in the development
of the SP-20 speakers gets resolved with Phits Y-
101A It’s set up can be done in a few minutes and
only a screwdriver is required. The process is fully
reversible since no glue is used at all.
Phits Y-101A gives Yaesu speaker a clearer
sound with a frequency response cleaner without
internal reverberations. SSB and CW signals
appear sharper and listening is much more
pleasant.

Packaging
Phits Y-101A is delivered in a 31 x 22 x 10,5 cm
cardboard box, carefully wrapped in tissue paper.
In addition to the Phits plates, both a detailed
installation manual and a sticker to identify the
speaker has been improved are also included.
