Leitungsführung und Potentialausgleich
Verlegen Sie geschützte und ungeschützte Leitungen
nicht unmittelbar parallel nebeneinander. Als ungeschützt gelten auch Potentialausgleichsleitungen.
Der Erdanschluss ist an der 6-gekennzeichneten
Klemmstelle mit einer entsprechenden Leitung auf möglichst kurzem Wege zur Potentialausgleichsschiene zu
realisieren.
Produktbeschreibung
WT-RJ 45...ISDN ist eine IAE-Anschlußdose (ISDN-Anschluß-Einheit) zum Schutz vor Überspannungen der
ISDN So-Schnittstelle von Telekommunikationsendeinrichtungen (ISDN-Telefon, Anrufbeantworter, Telefax,
PC-Schnittstellenkarte und TK-Anlagen). Die Schutzschaltung für die ISDN-Schnittstelle beinhaltet einen
Feinschutz je Adernpaar und einen Grobschutz zwischen jeder Ader und PE.
Für den Anschluss der Datenleitung stehen eingangsseitig Klemmen und ausgangsseitig je nach Typ eine bzw.
zwei RJ 45-Buchsen zur Verfügung.
Die Installation dieses Gerätes darf nur von
einer autorisierten Elektrofachkraft ausgeführt werden. Beachten Sie bitte, daß im Falle
des Öffnens des Gerätes die Gewährleistung
des Herstellers erlischt.

Einbau- und Anschlussbedingungen
Setzen Sie die Anschlussdose WT-RJ 45...ISDN unmittelbar vor dem zu schützenden Gerät ein. Befestigen Sie
die Unterputzvariante WT-RJ45-2/ISDN 1/B in Unterputz-Installationsdosen und in Hohlwanddosen durch
Anschrauben des Tragringes.
Das Adernpaar a1/b1 der ankommenden Telekommunikationsleitung ist an die Klemmen 4/5 und das Adernpaar
a2/b2 an die Klemmen 3/6 anzuschließen.

Allgemeine Hinweise
Eine wirkungsvolle Schutzmaßnahme für überspannungsgefährdete Geräte muss neben dem besonders
empfindlichen Telekommunikationsbereich auch die
Stromversorgungseinspeisung berücksichtigt werden.
Um einen umfassenden und wirksamen Schutz zu erreichen, empfehlen wir einen mehrstufigen, selektiv aufgebauten Netzschutz zu installieren.

Installation and Connection Conditions
Install the WT-RJ 45...ISDN outlet box immediately before the device to be protected. Fit the
WT-RJ45-2/ISDN 1/B flush-type version in flushtype installation boxes and in cavity wall boxes, by
tightening the retaining ring.
The pair of wires, a1/b1, of the incoming telecommunications line must be connected to the terminal
blocks 4/5, and the pair of wires, a2/b2, to the terminal blocks 3/6.
Cable Routing and Equipotential Bonding
Do not lay protected and unprotected cables directly parallel to each other. Equipotential bonding
leads are also considered to be unprotected.
Lay the ground connection at the terminal point
marked with a 6, using a corresponding conductor,
along the shortest possible route to the grounding
busbar.
Product Description
WT-RJ 45...ISDN is an ISDN Terminal Unit outlet
box to protect the ISDN So interface of telecommunications terminal equipment (ISDN telephone,
answering machine, telefax, PC interface board
and telecommunications systems) from surge
voltages. The protective circuitry for the ISDN interface has fine protection for each pair of wires
and coarse protection between each wire and PE.
For the connection of the data lines, there are terminal blocks on the input side and, depending on
the type, one or two RJ 45 sockets on the output
side.

General Information
Effective protection for equipment susceptible to

take into account the particularly sensitive area of
telecommunications, but also the power supply.
