This document contains important information
and must be kept for future reference.

Please read thoroughly before commencing
installation as incorrect installation can be
dangerous.

Only use the airlight™ for children between

3.5kg/7.7lbs and 12kg/26.5lbs.

CLEANING & CARING

Check the airlight™ for cuts & bruises. If your product
is damaged in any way, or you’re not sure how to use
it, please consult our web support (www.philandteds.
com/support) from where you can access a local
customer care team.

Caring for airlight™

Unlike children, your airlight™ likes to stay clean.

• In case of little accidents, sponge wash with a
wet cloth. The airlight™ may be hand-washed

• airlight™ can be machine washed however hand
washing will extend the life of your carrier.

• Do not wring. Do not tumble dry. Do not use
any solvent or bleach based product These may
harm the materials. Line dry.

• Dry the airlight™ thoroughly before storage.
Store in a well ventilated space away from direct
sunlight which could damage or fade the airlight's
colourful coat.

• NOTE: Improper care will void any warranties. Do
not use the airlight™ if deterioration is detected
or suspected.

IMPORTANT

• The airlight™ is not for carrying the kitchen
sink! No hard or sharp objects please; they
hurt!

• Its important to t your child correctly in the
carrier.

• Adjust straps to rmly & securely t the body
of your child. This may need adjusting further if
additional clothes are added or removed.

• Ensure the newborn insert is used for infants
under 5.5kg/12.11 lbs

Recommended weight range

3.5 - 5.5 kg front with newborn insert.
Use the infant loops (page 9)

5.5 - 9 kg front carrier (with or without
newborn insert)

9 - 12kg back carrier

• airlight™ can be worn as a front or back
carrier.

• airlight™ is designed for children to face into

WARNINGS

American Safety Standard states:

FALL AND SUFFOCATION HAZARD
FALL HAZARD – Infants can fall through a wide
leg opening or out of carrier.

• Adjust leg openings to t baby’s legs snugly.

• Before each use, make sure all the straps
are secure.

• Take special care when leaning or walking.

• Never bend at waist; bend at knees.

• Only use airlight™ for children between

7.7lbs /3.3 kg and 26.5lbs/12 kg.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD – Infants under 4
months can suffocate in this product if face
is pressed tight against your body.

• Do not strap infant too tight against your
body.

• Allow room for head movement.

• Keep infant’s face from obstructions at all
times.

• Read all instructions before assembling and
using the soft carrier.

• Keep instructions for future use.

• Check to assure all buckles, snaps, straps,
and adjustments are secure before each
use.

• Check for ripped seams, torn straps or fabric
and damaged fasteners before each use.

• Ensure proper placement of child in product
including leg placement.

• Child must face towards you until he or she
can hold head upright.

• Premature infants, infants with respiratory
problems, and infants under 4 months are at
greatest risk of suffocation.

• Never use a soft carrier when balance or
mobility is impaired because of exercise,

• Never use a soft carrier while engaging
in activities such as cooking and cleaning

European safety standard EN 13209-2:2005
states:

• WARNING: Your balance may be adversely
affected by your movement and that of your
child;

• WARNING: Take care when bending or
leaning forward or sideways;

• WARNING: This carrier is not suitable for

use during sporting activities.

• This soft carrier is intended for one child
from minimum weight of 3.5 kg, to a
maximum weight 12kg.

Entretien du airlight™

Au contraire des enfants, votre airlight™ aime rester
propre.

• En cas de petits accidents, épongez-le avec un

chiffon humide. Le airlight™ est lavable à la main.

• Le airlight™ est lavable en machine, mais vous

allongerez sa durée de vie en le lavant à la main.

• Ne le tordez pas pour l'essorer. Ne le mettez pas

au sèche-linge. N'utilisez aucun produit solvant
ou à base de Javel. Cela pourrait endommager
les matériaux. Suspendez-le pour le faire sécher.

• Assurez-vous que le airlight™ soit bien sec avant

• Wischen Sie sie im Falle von kleinen Unfällen mit
einem nassen Tuch ab. Airlight™ kann von Hand
gewaschen werden.

• Airlight™ kann auch in der Waschmaschine
gewaschen werden. Allerdings verlängert die
Handwäsche die Lebensdauer des Produkts.

• Nicht auswringen. Nicht im Trockner trocknen.
Verwenden Sie keine Lösungs- oder Bleichmittel.
Diese können das Material beschädigen. Auf der
Wäscheleine trocknen.

REINIGING & ONDERHOUD

Controleer of de airlight™ geen beschadigingen

Onderhoud van de airlight™

In tegenstelling tot kinderen, blijft de airlight™ graag
schoon.

• In geval van een ongelukje, met een natte doek
schoon deppen. De airlight™ kan op de hand
worden gewassen.

• De airlight™ kan ook in de wasmachine worden
gewassen, maar op de hand wassen zorgt voor
een langere levensduur van de babydrager.

• Niet uitwringen. Niet in droogtrommel drogen.
Geen oplosmiddelen of producten op basis
van bleekmiddel gebruiken. Deze kunnen de
materialen beschadigen. Hangend drogen.

te bergen. In een goed geventileerde ruimte
opbergen, buiten direct zonlicht want dit kan de
kleurrijke omslag van de airlight beschadigen
of van kleur doen verschieten.

onderhouden, is de garantie niet geldig.
Gebruik de airlight™ niet als je slijtage
opmerkt of vermoedt.

BELANGRIJK

• "De airlight™ is niet bedoeld voor het dragen
van je hele hebben en houden!
Geen harde en scherpe voorwerpen alsjeblieft,
die doen pijn!"

• Het is belangrijk dat je je kind correct in de
babydrager plaatst.

• Stel de banden bij om je kind stevig & veilig
vast te zetten. De banden moeten mogelijk
verder worden bijgesteld wanneer je je kind

een extra kledingstuk aantrekt of uittrekt.

• Zorg ervoor dat je een hoofdkussentje voor
pasgeborene gebruikt voor baby's onder de
5,5 kg.

Aanbevolen gewichtscategorie

pasgeborene. Gebruik de speciale lusjes voor
