Color Kinetics and City Theatrical have teamed up to

develop a full line of accessories for

popular Color Kinetics professional lighting

products, including accessories for ColorBlaze™ 72,

ColorBlaze 48, ColorBlast® 12, ColorBlast 6, ColorBurst® 6,

ColorBurst 4 and ColorCast®14. These accessories augment the

capabilities of the lighting fixtures, and give the designer and
consultant additional choices as to how the light from
the fixture is controlled or dispersed. Nearly all of these
accessories are available in either painted
cold rolled steel for dry use,
or aluminum for wet and damp use. Powder
coat choices include black, white and
bonded aluminum.

A C C E S S O R Y H O L D E R S

Accessory Holders screw to the side of the fixture and allow the user to insert a range
of other accessories. Accessory Holders provide a secure mounting platform, prevent
accessories from falling out if the unit is tipped or hung upside down, and block any
stray spill light from the fixture. Accessory Holders are required for mounting any
additional accessories to ColorBlaze, ColorBlast or ColorCast fixtures. Accessory holders
can accommodate an assembly of accessories (i.e. lens and top hat). Accessory Holders
are not required for ColorBurst fixtures.

Top Hats serve two important functions: control spill light to a predictable area and
prevent the audience or viewers from seeing the bright and possibly distracting source
of the light. Top Hats drop into Accessory Holders and are held in place by a flange
secured by two screws that also block spill light. White or aluminum Top Hats with
black interiors are available on special order. Top Hats are available for ColorBlast 12,
ColorBlast 6, ColorBurst 6, and ColorBurst 4.

H A L F T O P H A T S

Half Top Hats are similar to Top Hats, but are angled on one side, preventing the viewer
from seeing the bright light source, while not restricting the beam on one side. Half Top
Hats drop into Accessory Holders and are held in place by a flange secured by two
screws that also block spill light. White or aluminum Half Top Hats with black interiors
are available on special order. Half Top Hats are available for ColorBlast 12, ColorBlast
6, ColorBurst 6, and ColorBurst 4.

An adjustable mounting base and beam shaper are available for the ColorCast 14 prod­ucts. The adjustable mounting base allows the unit to be adjusted up to 90o. It is avail­able in either a one-unit or five-unit version. Also available is a beam shaper similar to the
barndoor accessory. This accessory must be used with the accessory holder. All are avail­able in either white or black finishes.

Egg Crate Louvers serve a similar function as a Top Hat, but do so in a fraction of the
depth. A 45o cut-off is obtained by using cells that are 0.5” deep. Egg Crate Louvers drop
into Accessory Holders, and give a sleek appearance to the lighting fixture while provid­ing good beam control. Egg Crate Louvers are available for ColorBlaze 72, ColorBlaze
48, ColorBlast 12, ColorBlast 6, ColorBurst 6, and ColorBurst 4.

B A R N D O O R S

Barndoors provide adjustable beam control. Movable doors can be set to cut off
stray beams where needed, such as off of scenery or projection screens. Barndoors
drop into the Accessory Holders. Barndoors are available for ColorBlast 12, ColorBlast 6,
ColorBurst 6, and ColorBurst 4.

Spread Lenses are available to spread the beam from the standard beamspread of 22
out to 36o or 50o (horizontal) or 40

(vertical). Horizontal and Vertical Spread Lenses
drop into Accessory Holders, and can be used in conjunction with Top Hats and Half
