Backup memory logic retains the cable channel guide map indefinitely even during a power failure or when the VCR is disconnected from its power source.

SMARTCLOCK™ Once activated, this menu-driven feature will automatically maintain the correct time, regularly checking and updating the time if necessary.This function will also reset the clock after a power failure.The menu-driven time zone feature allows selection of appropriate time for those who live in a time zone other that that of their CATV service provider.

Digital Auto Tracking System When tape playback

begins, this feature automatically seeks the optimum tracking position in the tracking range, and the optimum audio signal tracking position for for clearest picture and sound from video-tapes. Automatic Channel Setup Activating this feature allows

the VCR tuner to scan through television frequencies, automatically storing active broadcast channel into memory.Then only active channels programmed into memory are tuned using the channel up/down buttons on either the remote or front panel of the VCR.Automatic channel preset can be repeated whenever desired,should new channels become available. Channels can be manually added or deleted.

181-Channel FS Tuning The digital quartz tuner is

Channel tuning is by random access with the remote control transmitter or scan tuning up and down by remote or at the set.

Clock/Function Display Continuously alerts the user to

all important recording and playback conditions, time, counter position, tape speed, channel number, etc.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) On-Screen Function Display

Indicates record/playback functions,channel number, clock setting, date, counter, programming, one-touch record and record standby, keeping the user alerted to the status of all features in a heads up on-screen display.
