Is Timer Programming complicated? No! Is Timer Programming time consuming? No! Just push the Turbo Timer button on the remote control.The display of your VCR asks you then for the programme number and the start and end time. That’s it. Just a matter of seconds.

With SMART picture, you can adapt the picture to your own preference: you can exaggerate the contours or suppress the noise from a rental tape. We offer you the possibility to play your tapes the way you like to see them.

• Tape List

Philips’Tape List offers a convenient and easy to use tape content information system for your most frequently used tapes (up to 14). You can use any tape, even those with existing recordings.To browse through the content of your most frequently used tapes, simply press the Tape List button on the remote control.The complete tape content overview will be shown on the TV screen. And you have immediate access to any recording just by selecting the desired recording (from the information displayed on your TV screen). On top of that you can edit the titles whenever you want to.

• ShowGuard

From now on you never have to programme your timer or channel presets again after you VCR has been disconnected from the power supply for a long time.Thanks to ShowGuard the timer programmes and channel presets are stored in a memory forever.You can change the timer programmes and channel presets but you can never loose them.
