Screen Protector Installation
1. Clean the PSP screen of all smudges and
ngerprints with the micro ber cloth
(Included).
2. Pull off the adhesive backing on the screen
protector via the white label w/red lettering
and carefully position and apply.
Car Charger Set-Up & Operation
(DC adapter & USB/PSP retractable cable)
1. Extend the retractable car charger cable by
pulling on both ends.
2. Plug the retractable cables USB connector
into the DC adapters USB jack.
3. Plug the retractable cables PSP compatible
plug to the PSP’s input jack.
4. Finally, plug the DC adapter into your
vehicles cigarette lighter.
Note: For USB charging of the PSP internal power
pack, insert the USB end of the retractable cable
directly to an available input on your PC.
Mini USB Retracting Cable
Installation & Operation
1. Connect to Retractable mini USB connector
to the mini USB input on top of the PSP.
2. Connect the normal sized USB connector
end directly to your PC.
3. Follow instructions in PSP instruction
manual for music download.
Note: You can connect the Retracting USB to the
PSP and PC without turning the power off.
Face Mask Installation
1. Align the Face Masks screws with the PSP’s
screw slots located on the top of the PSP.
2. Use a coin or screwdriver to gently screw
into the PSP screw slots.
3. Flip the shield down to cover the PSP’s
front side.

Power Pack Set-Up & Operation
The Power Pack is an external battery for
supplementary use: In the event that the
SONY PSP’s battery power depletes, the
Power Pack is then used to continue gameplay for more time.
1. Plug the original SONY AC adapter power
supply you received with your PSP into the
input jack labeled ‘DC IN 5V’ on the Power
Pack.
2. Plug the AC adapter power cord into your
AC wall socket.
3. Charge Power Pack for 6 to 8 hours prior
to use.
4. Unplug the power cord from the wall
socket and from the Power Pack.
5. Plug the Power Packs plug into the PSP’s
input jack. Switch the PSP™ ‘ON’ and
begin play.
Note:
• Estimated Power Pack life on Full Charge: Once
internal battery is exhausted on PSP and the
Power Pack is connected the supplemental
charge will last up to 4 hours.
• You can leave the original battery in the PSP
while using the Power Pack.
• Power Pack level can be checked in “Battery
Information” under “System Settings” on your
PSP™. Refer to the instruction manual that

came with your PSP™ game console.
• Power Pack duration may vary based on the
type of game or movie played or when playing
or usage conditions such as game screen
brightness.
• As Power Pack ages the duration of operation
will change.
Power Pack Precautions
The Power Pack contains a rechargeable battery
pack. Handle the battery pack with care and do not
handle a damaged or leaking Power Pack.
• Do not cause the battery pack to short-circuit.
Do not disassemble or tamper with the battery
pack.
• Do not throw or drop the battery pack. Do
not subject it to excessive physical shock or
vibration.
• Do not allow the battery pack to come into
contact with re or extreme temperatures,
such as direct sunlight or near a heat source.
• Do not expose the power pack to rain or
moisture.
Recycling Lithium-Ion Polymer Batteries
The Power Pack contains a Lithium-Ion Polymer
battery, which is recyclable. Please help the
environment by returning your used recharge able
batteries to nearest collection site in your area.

Warnings: Do not handle a damaged or leaking
Power Pack. Recycle and handle appropriately.
Installation and operation
FM Transmitter
1. Turn volume down on PSP and car or
home stereo radio.
2. Remove the protective cap & insert
the 3.5mm combo plug from the FM
Transmitter into the PSP headphone jack.
3. Tune the vehicles FM tuner to an unused
frequency on one of the following stations;
88.1,88.5, or 88.7
4. Switch the FM Transmitter frequency
switch to the corresponding FM Stereo
station. The FM Transmitter will transmit
PSP sound directly to the stereo.
5. Adjust volume on vehicle to desired level
and PSP to medium level.
Note: Due to characteristics of FM Transmission,
you will experience better sound quality by
adjusting the volume on your stereo and leaving
the volume lower on the PSP.
UMD Disc Cleaner operation
1. Open the lid of the UMD cleaner.
2. Apply two drops of cleaning solution to
the cleaning pad inside the UMD cleaner.
3. Insert the UMD disc into the cleaner with
exposed section of the UMD up as shown.
4. Close the cleaner and turn the handle
clockwise once or twice to clean the disc.
Note: Keep cleaning solution out of the reach of
children.
• If sprayed into eyes; rinse open eye under
running water.
• If swallowed; rinse mouth and drink water.
Do not induce vomiting. Consult with doctor
immediately!
