Read this user manual carefully before you use the spout cup and save it for future reference.

For your child’s safety and health:

WARNING!

-- Check the spout cup before each use. If any damage or crack is detected, stop using the spout cup immediately.

-- Always use this product with adult supervision.

-- Continuous and prolonged sipping of fluids will cause tooth decay.

-- Always check food temperature before feeding.

-- Prevent your child from running or walking while drinking.

-- Keep all components not in use out of the reach of children.

-- Do not heat up any liquid or food in the microwave.

Caution

-- Before first use,disassemble all parts (fig.A) and clean and sterilise them thoroughly. Place the spout cup in boiling water for 5 minutes.This is to ensure hygiene.

-- Do not sterilise any part of the spout cup in the microwave without using a microwave steriliser.

-- Make sure all parts are properly assembled (fig.B) before you give the spout cup to your child.

-- This spout cup is intended for use with diluted drinks.Water and milk are the best drinks for children of any age.

-- Thick,fizzy or pulpy drinks may block the valve and cause it to break or leak.

-- This spout cup is not designed for preparing infant formula. Do not use the spout cup to mix and shake infant formula as this can clog the holes and cause the spout cup to leak.

-- Make sure that the valve is properly assembled. See the illustrations on how to assemble the spout cup (fig.B).

-- Do not overtighten the drinking top on the spout cup.

-- SCF751 only: Do not use the spout as a soother.

-- Do not use the spout cup with a glass bottle.

-- Do not put the spout cup in the freezer compartment.

-- To prevent scalding, let hot liquid cool down before you fill the spout cup.

-- SCF751 only: Spouts are available separately. Use only Philips Avent spouts.

Cleaning and sterilisation

-- After each use, disassemble all parts

(fig.A) and clean them thoroughly in warm water and some washing-up liquid. You can also clean all parts on the top rack of the dishwasher.

-- Do not use abrasive or anti-bacterial cleaning agents or chemical solvents.

-- Do not place parts directly on surfaces that have been cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaners.

-- Food colouring can discolour parts. -- After cleaning, sterilise the spout cup

in boiling water.The spout cup is also suitable for all standard sterilisation methods.

Storage

-- For hygiene and maintenance, disassemble the spout cup (fig.A) and store it in a dry and covered container.

-- Keep the spout cup away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

Tip:The drinking top and bottle of the spout cup are compatible with Philips Avent Natural bottles.

-- Compruebe el vaso con boquilla antes de cada uso. Si detecta cualquier daño o grieta, deje de utilizar el vaso con boquilla inmediatamente.

-- Utilice siempre este producto bajo la supervisión de un adulto.

-- La succión continua y prolongada de líquidos produce caries.

-- Compruebe siempre la temperatura de los alimentos antes de la toma.

-- Evite que su hijo corra o ande mientras bebe.

-- Mantenga todos los componentes que no estén en uso fuera del alcance de los niños.

-- No caliente líquidos ni comida en el microondas.

-- Antes del primer uso, desmonte todas las piezas (fig.A) y limpie y esterilícelas bien. Introduzca el vaso con boquilla en agua hirviendo durante 5 minutos para garantizar la higiene.

-- No esterilice las piezas del vaso con boquilla en el microondas sin utilizar el esterilizador para microondas.

-- Asegúrese de que todas las piezas están bien montadas (fig.B) antes de dar el vaso con boquilla al niño.

-- Este vaso con boquilla está pensado para su empleo con bebidas diluidas. El agua y la leche son las mejores bebidas para niños de cualquier edad.

Limpieza y esterilización

-- Después de cada uso, desmonte todas las piezas (fig. A) y límpielas bien con agua tibia y un poco de detergente líquido. También puede lavar todas las piezas en la bandeja superior del lavavajillas.

-- No utilice agentes de limpieza abrasivos o antibacterias ni disolventes químicos.

-- No ponga las piezas en contacto directo con superficies que se hayan limpiado con limpiadores antibacterias.

-- Los colorantes de la comida pueden producir decoloración en las piezas.

-- Después de limpiar, esterilice el vaso con boquilla en agua hirviendo. El vaso con boquilla es adecuado también para todos los métodos de esterilización estándar.
