washed and sterilized BEFORE first use. Always ensure all items
are separated after EACH use; wash, rinse thoroughly and sterilize.
• DO NOT use anti-bacterial cleaners, as they may cause plastic
components to crack. • Suitable for all methods of sterilization.
• To sterilize, use an AVENT Electric or Microwave Steam Sterilizer
or boil for 5 minutes. • Wash your hands thoroughly and ensure
surfaces are clean prior to contact with sterilized components.
• Dishwasher safe: Food colorings may discolor components.
• Microwave caution: DO NOT warm feeds in a microwave oven
as this may cause uneven heating and could scald your baby.
Expressed breast milk can be stored in the fridge or freezer in
sterile VIA Bases and sterilized Lids: in refrigerator for up
to 48 hours (not in the door) or freezer for up to 3 months.
Never refreeze breast milk or add fresh breast milk to already
frozen milk. Only fill VIA Bases to 6oz or 8oz for storage in freezer,
as contents will expand.
For your child's safety and health. WARNING! Breast milk, formula
or solids will heat faster in AVENT VIA Bases than in standard
feeding bottles/containers. Always check food temperature before
feeding. • Never use feeding nipples as dummies, pacifiers or
soothers. Continuous/prolonged sucking of any fluids other than
milk and water will cause tooth decay. Fruit juices and flavored
sugary drinks are not recommended. If used, they should be well
diluted and only used for limited periods, not constantly sipped.
• Always use this product under adult supervision. DO NOT allow
your child to play with small parts or walk/run while using
bottles/nursers/cups. • For use with AVENT clear silicone nipples.
Always inspect nipples before use and throw away if damaged.
In any event we recommend replacing nipples after 3 months
use. Always assemble nipples while wet. • Nipples available
in newborn, slow, medium, fast and variable flow rates.
