Warning!
- Always use this product with adult supervision.
- Never use feeding teats as a soother, to prevent
chocking hazard.
- Continuous and prolonged sucking of uids will
cause tooth decay.
- Always check food temperature before feeding.
- It is not recommended to use a microwave to
warm up baby‘s food or drinks. Microwaves might
alter the quality of food/drinks and destroy some
valuable nutrients and may produce localized
high temperatures. Therefore, take extra care if
and when you heat up food in a microwave.
- When heating up liquid or food in the microwave,
please only place the container without screw
ring, teat and cap. Always stir heated food to
ensure even heat distribution and check the
temperature before serving.
- Keep all components not in use out of the reach
of children.
- Do not allow child to play with small parts or
walk/run while using bottles or cups.
- Do not place in a heated oven.
- Drinks other than milk and water, such as
fruit juices and avored sugary drinks are not
recommended. If used, they should be well
diluted and only used for limited periods.
- Expressed breast milk can be stored in
sterilized Philips Avent bottles/containers in the
refrigerator for up to 48 hours (not in the door) or
in the freezer for up to 3 months. Never refreeze
breast milk or add fresh breast milk to already
frozen milk.
- Always discard any breast milk that is left over at
the end of a feed.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or anti-
bacterial cleaners. Do not place components
directly on surfaces that have been cleaned with
anti-bacterial cleaners.
- Plastic material properties may be aected by
sterilizing and high temperatures. This can aect
the t of the cap.
- Inspect before each use and pull the feeding teat
in all directions.Throw away any part at the rst
signs of damage or weakness.
- Do not alter the product or parts of it in any
way. This may result in unsafe functioning of
the product.
Before rst use
Disassemble all parts and clean them in warm
soapy water and rinse them thoroughly. Sterilize
the parts in boiling water for 5 minutes or by using
a Philips Avent sterilizer. This is to ensure hygiene.
During sterilizing in boiling water, make sure that the
pan contains enough water and prevent the bottle
or other parts from touching the side of the pan.
This can cause irreversible product deformation,
defect or damage that Philips cannot be held
liable for. Make sure that you wash your hands
thoroughly and that the surfaces are clean before
contact with sterilized parts. Place all bottle parts
on a clean paper towel or on a clean drying rack
and allow them to air dry. Excessive concentration
of detergents may eventually cause plastic
components to crack. Should this occur, replace
immediately. This product is dishwasher safe - food
colourings may discolour parts. Clean and sterilize
all parts before each use. For hygiene reasons, we
recommend replacing teats after 3 months.
Assembly
When you assemble the bottle, make sure you
place the cap vertically onto the bottle so that the
teat sits upright (see image for more details). To
remove the cap, place your hand over the cap and
your thumb in the dimple of the cap. The teat is
easier to assemble if you wriggle it upwards instead
of pulling it up in a straight line. Make sure you pull
the teat through until its lower part is even with the
screw ring.
Storage
When not in use, do not store in sunlight or heat, or
leave in disinfectant (‚sterilizing solution‘) for longer
than recommended, as this may weaken the teat.
Do not place in a heated oven.
Glass natural bottle
Glass bottles may break. Do not use metal inside
the bottle to stir contents or for cleaning. This can
damage the glass on the inside of the bottle. Before
each use, inspect bottles for sharp edges or glass
fragments inside. Do not use bottles if there are any
cracks on or glass fragments in the bottle. Do not let
babies drink unsupervised with this bottle. Do not
use handles with glass bottles.
Prolonged wear or development of scratches may
lead to breakage.
Choosing the right teat for your baby
The Philips Avent teats are separately available with
dierent ow rates to help your baby with drinking.
Over time you can change the teat accommodating
the individual needs of your baby. Philips Avent
teats are clearly numbered on the side to indicate
ow rate. Make sure you use a teat with the correct
ow rate when you feed your baby. Use a lower
ow rate if your baby chokes, is leaking milk or has
trouble adjusting to the drinking speed. Use a higher
ow rate if your baby falls asleep during feeding,
gets frustrated or when feeding takes a very long
time. These Philips Avent teats can be used on
the Philips Avent feeding bottle and Philips Avent
storage cups.
(0) The teat for 0m can be used from day one.
Extra soft silicone teat and it is the lowest ow rate
available. Ideal for newborn and breastfed babies of
all ages. The number 0 is shown on the teat.
(1) The teat for 0m+ is ideal for newborn and
breastfed babies of all ages. The number 1 is shown
on the teat.
(2) The teat for 1m+ is ideal for breastfed babies of
all ages. The number 2 is shown on the teat.
(3) The teat for 3m+ is ideal for bottle fed babies
at 3 months of age and up. The number 3 is shown
on the teat.
(4) The teat for 6m+ ideal for bottle fed babies at
6 months of age and up. The number 4 is shown
on the teat.
(I/II/III) Variable ow: has a bite resistant silicone
teat. The sturdier teat, with an adjustable ow rate
to babies convenience is ideal for bottle fed babies
at 3 months of age and up. The teat has one slot cut
on the top for uid and the markings I, II, III on the
edges of the teat.
(Y) Thick feed: The thick feed teat designed for
thicker feeds is ideal for bottle fed babies at 6
months of age and up. The teat has one Y cut for
uid and the symbol Y on the teat.
Note: Every baby is unique and your baby‘s
individual needs may vary from the description of
ow rates.
Note: Availability of spare teats may dier per
country.
Compatibility
- Make sure to choose the correct teat
corresponding to the correct screw ring of your
bottle: teats from the Philips Anti-colic/Classic+
range only t in screw rings of the Philips Anticolic/Classic+ range, and Philips Natural teats
only t in Philips Natural screw rings.
- When you use a Philips Avent sterilizer, please
check on the website how to place the Natural
bottle.
- The high quality plastic Natural bottle is
compatible with most Philips Avent breast
pumps, spouts, sealing discs and cup tops.
- The glass Natural bottle is compatible with Philips
Avent breast pumps and sealing discs. For safety
reasons, it is not recommended to use glass
Natural bottles with handles, spouts and cup
tops. If the bottle falls, it may break.

- Antes de cada uso, inspeccione la tetina y tire de
ella en todas las direcciones. Deseche cualquier

Antes de utilizarlo por primera vez
Desmonte todas las piezas, límpielas con agua
caliente con jabón y enjuáguelas bien. Esterilice
las piezas en agua hirviendo durante 5 minutos
o utilizando un esterilizador Philips Avent. Esto
se hace para garantizar la higiene. Durante la
esterilización en agua hirviendo, asegúrese de que
el recipiente contenga suciente agua y evite que el
biberón u otra pieza rocen la pared del recipiente.
Esto podría producir una deformación o un daño
irreversibles en el producto de los que Philips no
puede considerarse responsable. Asegúrese de
lavarse bien las manos y de que las supercies
estén limpias antes de que entren en contacto
con las piezas esterilizadas. Coloque las piezas
del biberón sobre un papel absorbente limpio
o en una rejilla de secado limpia y espere hasta
que se sequen. Una excesiva concentración de
detergentes puede provocar que los componentes
de plástico se agrieten. Si ocurriera, sustitúyalos de
inmediato. Este producto es apto para lavavajillas.
Los colorantes alimentarios pueden provocar la
decoloración de las piezas. Limpie y esterilice
todas las piezas antes de cada uso. Por razones
de higiene, recomendamos cambiar las tetinas
cada 3 meses.
Montaje
Cuando monte el biberón, asegúrese de colocar
el tapa en posición vertical de forma que la tetina
quede hacia arriba (consulte los detalles en la
imagen). Para quitar el tapón, coloque la mano
sobre el mismo, con el pulgar en la hendidura del
tapón. Es más fácil montar la tetina si la retuerce
hacia arriba en lugar de tirar de ella en línea recta.
Asegúrese de tirar de la tetina hasta que su parte
inferior esté a nivelada con la rosca.
Almacenamiento
Cuando no utilice la tetina, no la guarde expuesta
a la luz solar o al calor, ni en contacto con un
desinfectante (solución esterilizadora) durante más
tiempo del recomendado; esto podría deteriorarla.
No lo coloque en un horno caliente.
Biberón natural de cristal
Los biberones de cristal se pueden romper. No
utilice metales dentro del biberón para remover el
contenido ni para la limpieza. Esto puede dañar el
cristal del interior del biberón. Antes de cada uso,
inspeccione los biberones para ver si hay bordes
alados o fragmentos de cristal en el interior.
No utilice biberones que presenten grietas o
fragmentos de cristal en el biberón. No permita que
los bebés beban de este biberón sin supervisión. No
utilizar asas con biberones de cristal.
El desgaste prolongado o la aparición de arañazos
podría provocar roturas.
Elegir la tetina adecuada para el bebé
Las tetinas Philips Avent están disponibles por
separado con distintos niveles de ujo para ayudar
al bebé a beber. Con el tiempo puede cambiar la
tetina para adaptarla a las necesidades particulares
del bebé. El nivel de ujo de las tetinas Philips
Avent se indica claramente en el lateral mediante
un número. Asegúrese de utilizar la tetina con
el nivel de ujo adecuado al dar de comer al
bebé. Use un ujo inferior si el bebé se atraganta,
gotea leche o tiene problemas para ajustarse a la
velocidad al beber. Use un ujo superior si el bebé
se duerme mientras come, se frustra o tarda mucho
en comer. Estas tetinas Philips Avent pueden
utilizarse en el biberón Philips Avent y los vasos de
almacenamiento Philips Avent.
(0) La tetina para 0 meses se puede utilizar desde
el primer día. Es una tetina de silicona extra suave
con el menor ujo disponible. Ideal para recién
nacidos y lactancia a cualquier edad. En la tetina
aparece el número 0.
(1) La tetina para 0 meses en adelante es ideal para
recién nacidos y lactantes de cualquier edad. En la
tetina aparece el número 1.
(2) La tetina para 1 mes en adelante es ideal para
la lactancia a cualquier edad. En la tetina aparece
el número 2.
(3) La tetina para 3 meses en adelante es ideal
a partir de los 3 meses. En la tetina aparece el
número 3.
(4) La tetina para 6 meses en adelante es ideal
a partir de los 6 meses. En la tetina aparece el
número 4.
Flujo variable (I/II/III): tiene una tetina de silicona
resistente a los mordiscos. La tetina más resistente
con nivel de ujo ajustable a las necesidades
del bebé es ideal para los bebés de 3 meses en
adelante que toman biberón. La tetina tiene una
ranura en la parte superior para el uido y las
marcas I,II, III en los bordes de la tetina.
(Y) Alimentos densos: La tetina diseñada para
alimentos más espesos es ideal para los bebés de
6 meses en adelante que toman biberón. La tetina
tiene una ranura con forma de Y para el uido y el
símbolo Y en la tetina.
Nota: Cada bebé es único y las necesidades
individuales del suyo pueden variar con respecto
al nivel de ujo.

Compatibilidad
