Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save

Danger
- Keep the adapter dry (Fig. 2).
Warning
- Only use the appliance in combination with the adapter supplied.
- Do not use the appliance, an attachment or the adapter if it is
damaged or broken to avoid injuries.

- If the adapter is damaged, always have it replaced with one of the
original type in order to avoid a hazard.
- The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to
replace it with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
- Fully charge the appliance at least every 3 months to sustain battery
lifetime.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
- Do not insert metal-containing material into the socket for the
appliance plug to avoid short circuiting.

Caution
- This appliance is developed and intended for cleansing facial skin on
cheeks, forehead and chin (including the area between eyes and ears
and the area between nose and upper lip, excluding the area around
the eyes) and on the neck and décolleté. Do not use the appliance for
any other purpose.
- Do not use the appliance more than twice a day.
- For hygienic reasons, we advise you to not share the appliance with
other people.

- Do not clean the appliance with water that is hotter than shower
temperature (max. 40°C/104°F).
- Do not put the appliance or any part in the dishwasher.
- Charge, use and store the appliance at a temperature between
10°C/50°F and 40°C/104°F.
- Do not use the appliance on chapped skin, open wounds, or when
you suffer from skin diseases or skin irritations, such as sunburn, skin
infection, etc.If you are currently treated by a doctor or dermatologist
for acne or take prescribed acne medication, consult your doctor or
dermatologist before you start using the appliance.

- Do not use the appliance if you are taking steroid-based medication.
- Do not use the appliance with self-made cleansers or cleansers
containing harsh chemicals or rough particles.
- If you have sensitive skin, select setting 1 the first few times you use
the appliance. If you do not experience any skin reactions, you can
start using the appliance at setting 2.
- To prevent damage and injuries, keep the operating appliance (with or
without attachment) away from scalp hair, eyebrows, eyelashes,
clothes, threads, cords etc.

General
- Please note that the condition of the skin varies throughout the year.
Facial skin can get dryer during the winter season. In that case you
may reduce the treatment time or frequency, depending on the needs
of your skin.
- Regular cleaning of the appliance ensures optimal results and a longer
life.
- The appliance complies with the internationally approved IEC safety
regulations and can be safely used in the bath or shower and cleaned
under the tap.

- The appliance is equipped with an automatic voltage selector and is
suitable for mains voltages ranging from 100 to 240 volts.
Electromagnetic fields (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and
regulations regarding exposure to electromagnetic fields. If handled
properly and according to the instructions in this user manual, the
appliance is safe to use based on scientific evidence available today.
*The USB supply unit is not supplied with the appliance, but is available
separately. If you want to charge the appliance with the supply unit,

only use the Philips USB supply unit (HX9200). Contact the Consumer
Care Center to obtain this supply unit (see chapter 'Ordering
accessories').
Preparing for use
Charging the appliance
Charging the appliance takes approximately 6 hours. A fully charged appliance has a cordless operating time
of up to 30 minutes.
1 Make sure the appliance is switched off.
2 Insert the small plug in the socket of the charging stand, put the adapter in the wall socket, remove the
protection cap and put the appliance in the charging stand. (Fig. 3)
3 The charging light flashes white to indicate that the appliance is charging. When the battery is fully
charged, the charging light lights up white continuously. (Fig. 4)

Battery-low indication
- When the battery is almost empty, the charging light flashes amber for 15 seconds. The battery still
contains enough energy for a complete treatment. (Fig. 5)
To charge the appliance, follow the steps in section ‘Charging the appliance’ above.
Using the appliance
Visapure is designed to complement your current routine, you can use VisaPure Essential together with your
current cleanser.
Note: Make sure the appliance is fully charged before you use it for the first time.
Note: You can either use the appliance in front of the sink, in the shower or in the bathtub.
Brush heads
Your VisaPure Essential comes with one or more of the brush heads described below. You can use the brush
head that suits your skin best. The types of brush heads included depend on the VisaPure Essential type
purchased.

Daily facial cleansing with VisaPure Essential
Speed setting
You can choose between two different speed settings depending on your personal preference.
- Speed one, ‘gentle cleansing’, for a mild and soft cleansing.
- Speed two, ‘deep cleansing’, for a comfortable and more intensive cleansing.
Skin zones
- The face can be divided into three zones: right cheek, left cheek and T-zone. The cheek zones include the
chin, the area between nose and upper lip and the area between eyes and ears. The neck and décolleté
can also be divided into three zones. (Fig. 6)
Note: Do not use the appliance on the sensitive skin area around the eyes.

Skin Zone timer
When you switch on the appliance, it works for three periods of 20 seconds. Between these periods, there is
a short pause to indicate that you have to move the brush head to another skin zone.
Auto shut-off
The appliance automatically switches off after one minute to prevent overtreatment.
Cleansing procedure
Note: You can use the appliance twice a day.
1 Push the brush head onto the connection pin until it locks into position with a click. (Fig. 7)
2 Moisten the brush head with water or liquid cleanser or apply the cleanser directly on your skin before
you use the appliance. Do not use the appliance with a dry brush head, as this can irritate the skin.
3 Place the brush head on your skin.
4 Press the on/off button once to switch on the appliance. The appliance starts to operate at speed 1. Press
twice for speed 2. Press three times to switch off the appliance or wait until it stops automatically. (Fig. 8)

5 Gently move the brush head across your skin from the nose towards the ear. (Fig. 9)Do not push the
brush head too hard onto the skin to make sure the treatment remains comfortable.
6 After 20 seconds, the appliance briefly pauses to let you know that you have to move to the other cheek.

7 After 20 seconds, the appliance briefly pauses to let you know that you have to move the appliance to
the forehead. Gently move the brush head from left to right. (Fig. 11)
Note: We advise you to not overdo the cleansing and to not cleanse any zone longer than 20 seconds.
Cleaning and maintenance
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone to clean
the appliance.
Cleaning the appliance and the brush head
Clean the appliance and the brush head thoroughly with water after each use, to ensure optimum
performance. Make sure the appliance is switched off before you start cleaning it.

1 Remove the brush head from the appliance and rinse it under the tap with warm water (max. 40ºC /
104ºF). (Fig. 12)
2 Clean the back of the brush head and the connection pin of the appliance under the tap at least once a
week.
3 Dry these parts with a towel.
Cleaning the adapter and the charging stand
Danger: Always keep the adapter dry. Never rinse it under the tap or immerse it in water.
1 Make sure the adapter is unplugged when you clean it. Only wipe it with a dry cloth.
2 Always detach the charging stand from the adapter before you clean it. (Fig. 13)
3 You can clean the charging stand with a moist cloth. Dry the charging stand before you reconnect it to the
adapter. (Fig. 14)

Storage
- Store the appliance with the brush head attached in the charging stand. (Fig. 15)
- For traveling: put the protection cap on the dry brush head to protect the brush head filaments when you
take the appliance with you. (Fig. 16)
Note: Never put the protection cap on the brush head if the brush head is still wet.
Brush head replacement
Worn filaments could lead to skin irritation. Therefore the brush head should be replaced every 3 months or
earlier if the filaments are deformed or damaged. Replacement brush heads and additional brush head types
are available from our website www.shop.philips.com/service or from the shop where you purchased your
Philips beauty appliance. If you have any difficulties obtaining replacement brush heads, please contact the
Philips Consumer Care Centre in your country. You find its contact details in the worldwide guarantee leaflet.

Recycling
- This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal household waste (2012/19/EU).
- This symbol means that this product contains a built-in rechargeable battery which shall not be disposed
of with normal household waste (2006/66/EC). We strongly advise you to take your product to an official
collection point or a Philips service centre to have a professional remove the rechargeable battery.
- Follow your country’s rules for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products and
rechargeable batteries. Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and
human health.
Removing the rechargeable battery before discarding the appliance
1 Remove the appliance from the charging stand, switch on the appliance and let it operate until it switches
off after one minute. Repeat this action until the rechargeable battery is empty.
2 Insert a small flathead screwdriver between the silver- colored ring and the anti-roll ridge and pry loose
the top part of the appliance. Carefully pull the top part with the battery holder out of the housing.
3 Remove the rechargeable battery from the battery holder (Fig. 19).

Do not attempt to replace the rechargeable battery.
Do not reconnect the appliance to the mains after you have removed the rechargeable
battery.

Für den Gebrauch vorbereiten
Gerät laden
Das Laden des Geräts dauert ungefähr 6 Stunden. Ein vollständig geladenes Gerät kann bis zu 30 Minuten
schnurlos betrieben werden.
1 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
2 Stecken Sie den kleinen Stecker in die Buchse der Ladestation und den Adapter in die Steckdose.
Nehmen Sie dann die Schutzkappe ab, und setzen Sie das Gerät in die Ladestation (Abb. 3).
3 Die Ladeanzeige blinkt weiß und zeigt an, dass das Gerät aufgeladen wird. Wenn der Akku vollständig
aufgeladen ist, leuchtet die Ladeanzeige ununterbrochen (Abb. 4) weiß.
Warnanzeige bei geringem Ladestand
- Wenn der Akku fast leer ist, blinkt die Ladeanzeige 15 Sekunde lang amberfarben. Der Akku reicht dann
noch für eine vollständige Behandlung (Abb. 5).
Um das Gerät zu laden, befolgen Sie die Schritte im Abschnitt „Das Gerät laden“ weiter oben.

Tägliche Gesichtsreinigung mit VisaPure Essential
Geschwindigkeitseinstellung
Sie können je nach persönlicher Präferenz zwischen zwei Geschwindigkeitsstufen wählen.
- Geschwindigkeitsstufe 1, „sanfte Reinigung“, für eine angenehm milde Reinigung.
- Geschwindigkeitsstufe 2, „Tiefenreinigung“, für eine komfortable, intensivere Reinigung.
Hautzonen
- Das Gesicht lässt sich in drei Zonen unterteilen: rechte Wange, linke Wange und T-Zone. Die
Wangenzonen schließen das Kinn, den Bereich zwischen Nase und Oberlippe und den Bereich zwischen
den Augen und den Ohren ein. Der Hals und das Dekolleté können ebenfalls in drei Zonen (Abb. 6)
unterteilt werden.
Hinweis: Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht für die empfindliche Hautpartie um die Augen.

Hautzonen-Timer
Wenn Sie das Gerät einschalten, arbeitet es über drei Zeiträume von je 20 Sekunden. Zwischen diesen
Zeiträumen gibt es eine kurze Pause, die darauf hinweist, dass Sie den Bürstenkopf in eine andere Hautzone
bringen müssen.
Automatische Abschaltung
Das Gerät schaltet sich nach einer Minute automatisch aus, um Überhitzung zu vermeiden.

entièrement chargée, le voyant de charge cesse de clignoter (Fig. 4) et devient blanc en continu.

2 Humidifiez la brosse de rechange avec de l’eau ou un nettoyant liquide, ou appliquez ce dernier

3 Placez la brosse sur votre peau.
4 Mettez l’appareil en marche en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt. L’appareil commence à fonctionner

Rangement
- Rangez l'appareil avec la brosse dans le socle (Fig. 15) de charge.
- Lorsque vous voyagez : placez l’embout de protection sur la tête de brosse sèche afin d’en protéger les
brins lors du transport (Fig. 16).
Remarque : Ne placez jamais l’embout de protection sur la brosse lorsque celle-ci est encore humide.

sostanze chimiche o particelle aggressive.

- Se la vostra pelle è sensibile, le prime volte che utilizzate
l'apparecchio selezionate l'impostazione 1. Se non si manifesta alcuna
reazione cutanea, potete utilizzare l'apparecchio selezionando
l'impostazione 2.
- Al fine di evitare danni o lesioni, tenete l'apparecchio in funzione (con
o senza accessori) lontano da capelli, ciglia, sopracciglia, vestiti, fili,
corde, ecc.
Indicazioni generali
- Ricordate che le condizioni della pelle variano durante l'anno. La pelle del viso può diventare più secca
durante la stagione invernale. In quel caso potete ridurre la durata o la frequenza del trattamento, in base
alle esigenze della vostra pelle.
- La pulizia regolare assicura risultati ottimali e una vita più lunga dell'apparecchio.

Manutenzione del dispositivo
Ricarica dell'apparecchio
La ricarica dell'apparecchio richiede circa 6 ore. Un apparecchio a piena carica ha un'autonomia di
funzionamento senza filo di 30 minuti.

2 Inserite lo spinotto nella presa del supporto di ricarica, inserite l'adattatore nella presa di corrente a muro,
rimuovete il cappuccio di protezione e posizionate l'apparecchio nel supporto di ricarica. (fig. 3)
3 Quando l'apparecchio è in carica, la spia di ricarica emette una luce bianca lampeggiante. Quando la
batteria è completamente carica, la spia di ricarica emette una luce bianca fissa. (fig. 4)
Indicazione batteria scarica
- Quando la batteria è quasi scarica, la spia di ricarica emette una luce arancione lampeggiante per 15
secondi. La batteria contiene ancora abbastanza energia per un trattamento completo. (fig. 5)

Potete scegliere tra due impostazioni di velocità diverse a seconda delle vostre preferenze personali.

- Velocità due, "pulizia profonda", per una pulizia confortevole e più intensa.

Zone della pelle
- Il viso può essere suddiviso in tre zone: guancia destra, guancia sinistra e zona T. Le zone delle guance
includono il mento, l'area tra il naso e il labbro superiore e l'area tra occhi e orecchie. Anche il collo e il
décolleté possono essere suddivisi in tre zone. (fig. 6)
Nota: Non usate l'apparecchio sull'area di pelle sensibile intorno agli occhi.
Timer per zone della pelle
Quando accendete l'apparecchio, questo funziona per tre periodi di 20 secondi, intervallati da una pausa
breve che segnala la necessità di spostare la testina su un'altra zona della pelle.
Spegnimento automatico
L'apparecchio si spegne automaticamente dopo un minuto per evitare il sovratrattamento.
Procedura di pulizia
Nota: Potete usare l'apparecchio due volte al giorno.

1 Premete la testina sul perno di collegamento finché non si blocca nella posizione corretta con uno scatto.

2 Inumidite la testina con dell'acqua o con un detergente liquido o applicate il detergente direttamente
sulla pelle prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio. Non usate l'apparecchio con la testina asciutta, poiché
potrebbe irritare la pelle.
3 Posizionate la testina sulla pelle.
4 Premete il pulsante on/off per accendere l'apparecchio. L'apparecchio inizia a funzionare alla velocità 1.
Premete due volte per la velocità 2. Premete tre volte per spegnere l'apparecchio o attendete finché non
si arresta automaticamente. (fig. 8)
5 Muovete delicatamente la testina sulla pelle, dal naso verso l'orecchio. (fig. 9)Affinché il trattamento non
risulti sgradevole, non esercitate troppa pressione sulla pelle.
6 Dopo 20 secondi, l'apparecchio si arresta brevemente per segnalare di spostarvi all'altra guancia. (fig. 10)
7 Dopo 20 secondi, l'apparecchio si arresta brevemente per segnalare che è necessario passare alla fronte.
Muovete delicatamente la testina da sinistra a destra. (fig. 11)

Nota: Vi consigliamo di non eccedere nella pulizia e di non prolungare la pulizia di una zona per più di 20
secondi.
Pulizia e manutenzione
Non usate prodotti o sostanze abrasive o detergenti aggressivi, come benzina o acetone, per pulire
l'apparecchio.
Pulizia dell'apparecchio e della testina
Pulite l'apparecchio e la testina a fondo con acqua dopo ogni uso, per assicurare una prestazione ottimale.
Prima di pulire l'apparecchio, verificate che sia spento.
1 Rimuovete la testina dall'apparecchio e sciacquatela sotto il rubinetto con acqua calda (max. 40ºC). (fig.

2 Pulite il retro della testina e il perno di collegamento dell'apparecchio sotto il rubinetto almeno una volta
alla settimana.
3 Asciugate le parti con un asciugamano.

Pulizia dell'adattatore e del supporto di ricarica
Pericolo: mantenete sempre asciutto l'adattatore. Non risciacquatelo mai sotto l'acqua
corrente e non immergetelo in acqua.
1 Assicuratevi che l'adattatore sia disinserito quando lo pulite. Pulitelo solo con un panno asciutto.
2 Staccate sempre il supporto di ricarica dall'adattatore prima di pulirlo. (fig. 13)
3 Pulite l'unità di ricarica mediante un panno umido. Asciugate il supporto di ricarica prima di ricollegarlo
all'adattatore. (fig. 14)
Conservazione
- Conservate l'apparecchio con la testina inserita sul supporto di ricarica. (fig. 15)
- In viaggio: quando portate l'apparecchio con voi in viaggio, inserite il cappuccio di protezione sulla testina
asciutta per proteggere le setole. (fig. 16)
Nota: Non inserite mai il cappuccio di protezione sulla testina se è ancora bagnata.

Setole usurate possono causare irritazioni della pelle. Pertanto, è necessario sostituire la testina ogni 3 mesi
o anche prima, se le setole sono danneggiate o deformate. Testine di ricambio e tipi di testina aggiuntivi

- In tutti gli altri casi, attenetevi alle normative di raccolta differenziata dei prodotti elettrici, elettronici e
delle batterie ricaricabili in vigore nel vostro paese: un corretto smaltimento consente di evitare
conseguenze negative per l’ambiente e la salute.
Rimuovere la batteria ricaricabile prima di dismettere l'apparecchio
1 Rimuovete l'apparecchio dal supporto di ricarica, accendetelo e lasciatelo in funzione finché non si
spegne dopo 1 minuto. Ripetete questa operazione finché la batteria ricaricabile non si scarica del tutto.
2 Inserite un piccolo cacciavite a testa piatta tra l'anello argentato e la scanalatura antiscivolo e staccate la
parte superiore dell'apparecchio. Rimuovete con cautela la parte superiore con lo scomparto batteria
dall'alloggiamento.
3 Separate la batteria ricaricabile dallo scomparto (fig. 19).

Verificate che la tensione riportata sull'apparecchio corrisponda alla
tensione disponibile. Controllate che i pin dell'apparecchio siano
effettivamente in contatto con i punti corrispondenti del supporto. Se
l'apparecchio viene collegato a una presa di corrente posta sul
mobiletto del bagno, potrebbe essere necessario accendere la luce per
attivare la presa. Se la luce sull'apparecchio ancora non si accende o se
l'apparecchio non si carica, portatelo presso il vostro distributore Philips
o il Centro Assistenza Philips più vicino.
