- Do not use the appliance on chapped skin, open wounds, or if you suffer from skin diseases or skin irritations, such as severe acne, sunburn, skin infection, etc.

- Do not use this device if you have a pacemaker, implanted device, or have a metal prosthesis.

- Do not use the appliance on the sensitive skin area around the eyes, as it is thin and delicate.

- Do not use the appliance on any mucosal area

(e.g. inside nose, mouth, genital area) as it may cause

local irritation.

This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations regarding exposure to

Environment

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its

life, but hand it in at an ofcial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to

General description

Auto Shut-off

The appliance will automatically shut off after 10 minutes of continuous use.

Preparing for use

Charging the appliance

Note: Make sure the appliance is fully charged before you use

it for the rst time.

Charging the appliance takes approximately 2 hours. A fully charged appliance has a cordless operating time of up to 20

minutes.

1 Make sure the appliance is switched off.

2 Insert the small plug in the socket of the charging stand,

and put the adapter in the socket.

3 Put the appliance in the charging stand.

 The charging indicator lights blue when charging. When

the battery is fully charged, the indicator goes out.

Note: You can use the appliance before the battery is fully

charged, but its performance and operating time will not be optimal in this case.

Cleansing your face

1 Cleanse your face with a suitable facial cleanser. Make

sure all dirt and makup are removed.

2 Rinse your face and pat it dry gently with a clean towel.

Using the appliance

We suggest to use this appliance three times per week for best results.

Notes:

• Do not put the dry probe on your face when the

appliance is on, as it may irritate your skin.

• Make sure to take off the protection cap before applying

serum, gel or cream onto the probe.

1 Moisten the probe with one or two drops of your usual

serum, cream or gel. Evenly distribute the drops with the help of your ngertips.

2 Apply a few drops of your serum, cream or gel around

your face as shown, and gently tap it into your skin with the help of your ngertips.

Tips:

• For optimal results, do not use oil based skincare products.

3 Press the on/off button once to switch on the appliance.

4 Put the probe on your face. Make sure it is fully contact

ing your face. Gently move the appliance from your chin all the way up to your ears. This motion should take

about 5 seconds. To emphasize the result, repeat this

step 2-3 times on each side of your cheek. (Refer to “Quick Treatment” and “Emphasized Treatment” in inner leaet)

• Tip: To treat the areas where full skin contact is hard to achieve,

such as the corner on either side of your nose, you can try different ways of holding the appliance for instance, vertical

and horizontal ways, or with the help of the other hand to stretch and hold the skin to be treated. You can apply this method to your chin and forehead areas.

Notes:

• Do not treat any zone longer than 3 minutes (Refer to

the zone separation a b c as shown).

• It is normal for the probe to feel warmer during use due

to continuous vibration.

5 To treat your forehead, make overlapping circular

movements with either inwards or outwards directions.

After use:

1 Press the on/off button to turn off the appliance. The

appliance is equipped with an auto-shutoff function, it will be shut off automatically after ten minutes of continuous use.

2 Tap extra serum or gel on your face with your ngertips.

Alternatively use your palms to gently lift both sides of your cheek two to three times.

Notes:

• Make sure the appliance is switched off before you start

cleaning.

• Make sure the adapter is unplugged when you clean it.

Only wipe the adapter with a dry cloth.

• Always detach the charging stand from the adapter before

you clean it.

• Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or

aggressive liquids such as alcohol or acetone to clean the appliance.

• Clean the appliance and the probe thoroughly after each

use to ensure optimum performance.

• The probe and front end of the appliance is waterproof

and can be rinsed under tap water, but never rinse the whole appliance under water.

• Make sure all parts are dry before you reconnect to the

adapter.

1 Rinse only the probe under a lukewarm tap. You can also

use a mild facial cleanser to clean the probe.

2 Wipe these parts with a clean and dry towel.

• Tip: For easy cleaning, you can also use a damp cloth to

remove residue from the probe.

Storage

1 Store the appliance with the protective cap in a dry

and dust free place. You can also keep the packaging for future storage.

2 Ensure the protective cap is in place to protect the

appliance from damage when storing or traveling.

Discard the rechargeable battery

Warning:

• Do not attempt to replace the rechargeable battery.

• Do not reconnect the appliance to the mains cord after

you have removed the rechargeable battery.

Remove the rechargeable battery before discarding the

appliance to help preserve the environment.

1 Remove the appliance from the charging stand, switch

on the appliance and let it operate until it switches off

automatically. Repeat this action until the rechargeable battery is empty.

2 Loosen and release the screw and detach the bottom

part off the appliance.

3 Insert a small athead screwdriver between the golden

color ring and the appliance. Pry loose the top part off the appliance.

4 Carefully pull the top part with the battery holder out of

the housing.

5 Remove the rechargeable battery from the battery

Problem Solution

The appliance does not work anymore.

Make sure that you have pressed the on/off button properly. Charge the appliance according to the instructions in this user manual. Verify whether there is a power failure and if the wall socket is live. Check if the charging light on the appliance lights up to make sure the appliance is charging. If it does not light up or if the appliance still does not work, take it to your Philips dealer or the nearest Philips Service Centre.
