Danger
- Keep the adapter dry. Never immerse the
handle into water.
- Do not charge this appliance in wet
surroundings
(e.g. near a lled bath, a running shower or
near a lled swimming pool).
- Never throw the appliance into re.
Warning
- Only use the appliance in combination with
the adapter supplied.
- Do not use the appliance, the attachment
or the adapter if it is damaged or broken to
avoid injuries.
- If the adapter is damaged, always have it
replaced with one of the original type in
order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not cut o the adapter to replace it with
another plug, as this causes a hazardous
situation.
- Fully charge the appliance at least every 3
months to sustain battery lifetime.
- This appliance is not intended for use by
persons younger than 12 years and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
- This appliance is NOT a toy. Keep the

- Charge, use and store the appliance at
a temperature between 5°C/40°F and
35°C/95°F.
- Do not use the appliance if you are taking
steroid based medication.
- Do not use this appliance if your skin is
still recovering from a cosmetic procedure,

such as a chemical or mechanical peeling,
laser resurfacing, fractional laser treatment,
or mesotherapy treatment or any other
treatment with dermal llers in the past
two weeks.
General
- Regular cleaning of the appliance ensures
optimal results and a longer life of the
appliance.
- Do not use when sleeping or drowsy.
Contraindications and other warnings
- Do not apply this device directly to your ear
as this may cause temporary hearing loss.
- Do not use this device if you have any ear
problems (Swimmer’s ear, ear infection, any
anomaly).
- Do not use the appliance on chapped skin,
open wounds, or if you suer from skin
diseases or skin irritations, such as severe
acne, sunburn, skin infection, etc.
- Do not use this device if you have a
pacemaker, implanted device, or have a
metal prosthesis.
- Do not use the appliance on the sensitive
skin area around the eyes, as it is thin and
delicate.
- Do not use the appliance on any mucosal
area (e.g. inside nose, mouth, genital area)
as it may cause local irritation.
Electromagnetic elds (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations
regarding exposure to electromagnetic elds.
Environment
Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at
the end of its life, but hand it in at an ocial collection point for recycling.

minutes of continuous use.

Preparing for use
Charging the appliance
Note: Make sure the appliance is fully charged
before you use it for the rst time.

Charging the appliance takes less than 2.5 hours. A
fully charged appliance has a cordless operating time
of up to 20 minutes.
1 Make sure the appliance is switched o.
2 Insert the small plug in the socket of the
charging stand, and put the adapter in the
socket.
3 Put the appliance in the charging stand.
The charging indicator will light up when
charging. When the battery is fully charged,
the indicator goes out.
Note: You can use the appliance before the battery
is fully charged, but its performance and operating
time will not be optimal in this case.
Cleansing your face
1 Cleanse your face with a suitable facial cleanser.
Make sure all dirt and makup are removed.
2 Rinse your face and pat it dry gently with a
clean towel.
Using the appliance
We suggest to use this appliance three times per
week for best results.
Notes:
• Do not put the dry probe on your face when the
appliance is on, as it may irritate your skin.
• Make sure to take o the protection cap before
applying serum, gel or cream onto the probe.
