Your digital Bath and Room Thermometer

SC550

The Philips digital bath and room thermometer
allows you to conveniently determine the ideal
temperature of your baby’s bath or room. Your
baby can also play with this product safely, since
the thermometer is designed to comply with all
EU and USA toy-safety standards.

Your baby will feel most comfortable in bath if
the water temperature is between 36.5°C and
38°C. A temperature of 39°C and above is too
hot and your baby could get burned!
At a room temperature of about 18°C babies feel
most comfortable when sleeping.

Please read this guide carefully before using the
product. Please keep this guide and the product
packaging, since they contain important
information.

The digital bath and room thermometer is always
ready for use. Just let it float in the water or let it
sit on a shelf in baby’s room.

NOTE:

- Mix the water thoroughly before measuring
the water temper ature.

- Put the thermometer in the tub while filling it.
This will ensure a fast and accurate reading of
the water temperature

- Stir the water while taking the temperature
measurement

After about 2 years the batteries may go flat. You
can then replace the batteries.

3. Carefully remove the empty batteries with a
pair of tweezers

4. Insert the new batteries and replace the
battery housing cover. Add some silicon grease
at the edge of the battery housing cover to
improve the water proof characteristics

NOTE:

- After replacing the batteries, the waterproof
status is not guaranteed anymore.

- Dispose of used batteries in an environmentally
friendly way

Ce thermomètre digital Philips, pour le bain et
pour la chambre, vous permet de déterminer
facilement la température idéale de la chambre
ou du bain de bébé. Bébé peut aussi jouer en
toute sécurité avec ce produit qui répond à toutes
les normes de sécurité «jouets» édictées aux Etats­Unis et dans l’Union Européenne.

Dans le bain, le plus grand confor t de bébé est
assuré à une température oscillant entre 36.5°C
et 38°C. A partir de 39°C, l’eau est trop chaude,
ce qui implique des risques de brûlure.
La température de la chambre doit quant à elle
approcher les 18°C pour que bébé ait un sommeil
confortable.

Veuillez lire ce guide attentivement avant d’utiliser

Digitaalinen kylpy- ja huonelämpömittari on aina

SC550

Philipsin digitaalinen kylpy- ja huonelämpömittarin
avulla voit helposti varmistaa, että vauvan
kylpyveden tai huoneen lämpötila on juuri sopiva.
Voit antaa vauvan myös huoletta leikkiä tällä
lämpömittarilla, sillä se täyttää kaikki EU:ssa ja
USA:ssa voimassa olevat leikkikalujen
turvallisuusstandardit.

Vauva nauttii kylvystä eniten, jos kylpyveden
lämpötila on 36,5…38 °°C. Jos veden lämpötila
on 39 °°C tai yli, se on liian kuumaa ja voi aiheuttaa
palovammoja.
Vauvat nukkuvat parhaiten, jos huoneen lämpötila
on noin
18 °°C.

Tutustu huolellisesti tähän käyttöohjeeseen ennen
kuin alat käyttää tuotetta. Säilytä käyttöohje sekä
tuotepakkaus, sillä ne sisältävät tärkeitä tietoja.

Le thermomètre de bain et de chambre digital
est toujours prêt à l’emploi. Laissez-le flotter dans
l’eau ou déposez-le sur une étagère dans la
chambre de bébé.

REMARQUE :

- Mélangez bien l’eau avant d’en mesurer la
température.

- Placez le thermomètre dans la baignoire
pendant que vous la remplissez. La mesure du
thermomètre sera plus rapide et fiable.

- Remuez l’eau en en prenant la température.

Après approx. deux ans, les piles peuvent être
plates. Vous pouvez les remplacer.

1. Retirez l’unité de mesure de son logement en
caoutchouc.

2. Enlevez le couvercle du logement des piles.

3. Retirez précautionneusement les piles plates
à l’aide d’une pincette.

4. Insérez les nouvelles piles et remettez le
couvercle du logement des piles. Ajoutez un
peu de graisse au silicone sur le bord du
logement des piles pour en augmenter
l’étanchéité.

REMARQUE :

- L’étanchéité générale n’est plus garantie si on
remplace les piles.

- Mettez les piles usées au rebut de manière
réglementaire.

- Ne mélangez pas de nouvelles et de vieilles
piles.

- Ne mélangez pas différents types de piles :
alcaline, normales ou rechargeables.

- Enlevez les piles si vous n’utilisez pas le
thermomètre durant de longues périodes. Les
fuites et la corrosion peuvent endommager le
produit.

- Les piles non rechargeables ne peuvent pas
être rechargées.
