1. Introduzione

Congratulazioni per l’acquisto del telecomando universale Philips SBC RU760. Dopo aver messo a punto la configurazione del telecomando potrete utilizzarlo per controllare fino a 6 apparecchi:TV,VCR, DVD, decoder via cavo/sintonizzatore satellitare, lettore CD ed amplificatore/ricevitore. Nel capitolo ‘Installazione del telecomando’ troverete le informazioni necessarie per preparare il telecomando all’uso.

2. Installazione del telecomando

Inserimento delle batterie 1 Premete sul coperchio e fatelo scorrere nella direzione della freccia.

2 Inserite due batterie R6 AA nel vano batterie, come mostrato in figura.

3 Richiudete il coperchio (scatta in posizione con un clic).

Collaudo del telecomando

Il telecomando è stato programmato per funzionare con la maggioranza degli apparecchi Philips. Poiché l’RU760 potrebbe utilizzare segnali differenti per ciascuna marca e modello, è opportuno verificare se l’apparecchio risponde ai comandi inviati dall’RU760. L’esempio che segue (TV) descrive la procedura di configurazione. Potete ripetere questi passaggi per gli altri apparecchi (DVD, videoregistratori, ecc.) che intendete controllare con l’RU760.

Procedura di esempio relativa ad un televisore:

1 Accendete il televisore direttamente o tramite il suo telecomando

originale. Sintonizzate il canale 1.

2 Utilizzate il selettore di modalità dell’RU760

per selezionare TV. Premete il tasto SELECT finché si illumina l’anello verde attorno al tasto Standby.

Per selezionare altri apparecchi, premete ripetutamente il tasto SELECT finché si illumina il simbolo (scritta) dell’apparecchio da controllare. Se non si illumina né il tasto Standby, né uno dei simboli, controllate se le batterie sono inserite correttamente (vedi ‘Inserimento delle batterie’).

3 Controllate se funzionano tutti i tasti.

Per una panoramica sui tasti e le relative funzioni, consultate ‘3. Tasti e funzioni’. Se il TV risponde correttamente a tutti i comandi abbinati ai tasti, l’RU760 è pronto per l’uso.

• Se l’apparecchio non risponde del tutto od ignora alcuni comandi, passate alle istruzioni descritte in ‘Configurazione del telecomando’.

Configurazione del telecomando

Questa procedura va svolta solo se l’apparecchio non risponde ai comandi inviati dall’RU760. Se ciò accade significa che l’RU760 non riconosce la marca e/o il modello dell’apparecchio ed è quindi necessario programmare il telecomando in base alle specifiche dell’apparecchio. L’esempio che segue (TV) descrive la procedura di configurazione. Potete ripetere questi passaggi per gli altri apparecchi (DVD, videoregistratori, ecc.) che intendete controllare con l’RU760.

Procedura di esempio relativa ad un televisore:

1 Accendete il televisore direttamente o tramite il suo telecomando

originale. Sintonizzate il canale 1.

2 Individuate la marca del vostro TV nella lista dei codici inclusa alla fine di

questa guida. Per ciascuna marca sono elencati uno o più codici a quattro cifre. Annotate il primo codice.

Prestate attenzione! Vi sono tabelle separate per le varie categorie di apparecchi:TV,VCR, DVD, ecc. Prelevate i codici dalla tabella corretta.

3 Selezionate TV con il selettore di modalità

(Vedi ‘Collaudo del telecomando’).

4 Mantenete premuto il tasto LEARN

per 5 secondi finché l’anello verde attorno al tasto Standby lampeggia due volte e poi rimane illuminato.

5 Inserite il codice annotato al punto 2, mediante i tasti numerici.

–L’anello verde lampeggia due volte.

Se lampeggia una volta per un periodo di tempo più lungo, il codice non è stato inserito correttamente, oppure si tratta di un codice errato. Ripetete la procedura a partire dal punto 2.

6 Puntate l’RU760 in direzione del TV e verificate se l’apparecchio

risponde correttamente ai comandi inviati.

– Se il TV risponde a tutti i comandi abbinati ai tasti, l’RU760 è pronto per

l’uso. Non scordate di annotare il codice.

• Se l’apparecchio non risponde del tutto od ignora alcuni comandi, ripetete la procedura a partire dal punto 2 inserendo il secondo codice elencato nella lista.

Configurazione automatica del telecomando

Se nessuno dei codici abbinati alla marca del vostro prodotto è idoneo, è possibile utilizzare la funzione di ricerca automatica del codice corretto.

Procedura di esempio relativa ad un televisore:

1 Assicuratevi che il TV sia acceso e selezionate un canale mediante il suo

telecomando originale, od i tasti del pannello del televisore (ad esempio il canale 1). L’RU760 procederà con l’invio del segnale di ‘spegnimento TV’ di tutti i modelli di televisore presenti nella sua memoria.

• Se l’apparecchio è un lettore DVD od un VCR, inserite un disco od un nastro ed avviate la riproduzione.

2 Mantenete premuto il tasto LEARN

per 5 secondi,finché l’anello verde attorno al tasto Standby lampeggia due volte e poi rimane illuminato.

3 Premete brevemente il tasto Standby

dell’RU760.

–L’RU760 inizia ad inviare tutti i segnali noti di

‘spegnimento TV’, uno alla volta. Ad ogni invio, si illumina l’anello verde attorno al tasto Standby.

4 Quando il televisore si spegne (stand-by),

premete immediatamente il tasto Standby dell’RU760 per confermare.

–L’RU760 ha quindi trovato un codice adatto

al vostro TV.

5 Verificate se l’RU760 è in grado di controllare tutte le funzioni del

televisore.

• In caso contrario, ripetete la procedura di configurazione automatica. L’RU760 ricercherà quindi un codice che forse risulterà migliore del precedente.

– Quando l’RU760 ha inviato tutti i codici noti, la ricerca si arresta

automaticamente e l’anello verde termina di lampeggiare.

– La programmazione automatica di un TV richiede fino a 3 minuti.

L’illustrazione a pagina 3 fornisce una panoramica di tutti i tasti e le relative funzioni.

Se l’apparecchio non risponde del tutto od ignora alcuni comandi, passate alle istruzioni descritte in ‘Configurazione del telecomando’. Può essere necessario inserire un altro codice per l’apparecchio.

4. Funzioni aggiuntive

Programmazione delle macro

Una macro consente di automatizzare delle azioni svolte di frequente con il telecomando. Ad esempio, per guardare un DVD, sarà necessario accendere il lettore, accendere il televisore, accendere il ricevitore/amplificatore, selezionare il canale d’ingresso del DVD sull’amplificatore ed avviare la riproduzione del DVD. I vari tasti da premere per impartire tutti questi comandi possono essere abbinati ad un singolo tasto. In questo modo con un solo tasto predisporrete il sistema per la visione di un DVD.

Esempio di macro per ‘guardare un DVD’:

1 Selezionate la modalità richiesta con il

tasto SELECT, ad esempio la modalità DVD.

2 Premete i tasti 1 e 6 dell’RU760

simultaneamente per 5 secondi finché il simbolo DVD lampeggia due volte e poi rimane illuminato.

3 Premete i tasti 9, 9 ed 1, in questo ordine.

4 Premete il tasto al quale associare la macro,

p.e. il tasto P(P.

Note:

– Non appena la macro è stata associata ad un

tasto, la funzione originale del tasto non sarà più utilizzabile.

–Per memorizzare la macro potete anche premere il tasto Shift assieme al

tasto desiderato (in questo modo il tasto manterrà la sua funzione originale).

– Non è possibile abbinare macro ai tasti SELECT, LEARN o SHIFT.

5 Inserite la sequenza di tasti che compongono la macro da memorizzare,

p.e.:

• Selezionate la modalità DVD con il tasto SELECT e premete il tasto Standby.

• Selezionate la modalità TV con il tasto SELECT e premete 1.

• Selezionate la modalità AMP con il tasto SELECT e premete il tasto Standby.

• Selezionate la modalità DVD con il tasto SELECT e premete 1.

6 Per concludere la macro, premete il tasto LEARN.

– Il simbolo DVD lampeggia due volte per confermare il comando.

• Selezionando la modalità DVD e premendo il tasto P(P, il telecomando accenderà DVD, TV ed AMP ed avvierà la riproduzione del disco.

Metodo di apprendimento di un tasto

Se alcune funzioni non sono disponibili, l’RU760 è in grado di apprenderle dal telecomando originale. Le funzioni possono essere associate a qualsiasi tasto dell’RU760, eccetto LEARN, SELECT e SHIFT.Tenete presente che se ad un tasto è già abbinata una funzione, questa operazione ne comporterà la sostituzione con quella nuova.

Esempio per un VCR:

Tenete il telecomando originale del VCR a portata di mano.

1 Selezionate la modalità VCR con il tasto

SELECT.

2 Mantenete premuto il tasto LEARN ed il

tasto desiderato dell’RU760 simultaneamente per 5 secondi,finché il simbolo VCR

lampeggia due volte e poi rimane illuminato.

3 Poggiate entrambi i telecomandi su una

superficie piana (per esempio un tavolino) e rivolgeteli uno di fronte all’altro a circa 10 cm di distanza tra loro.

4 Premete il tasto da copiare del telecomando originale.

– Se l’RU760 ha appreso il codice, il simbolo VCR lampeggerà due volte

per confermare la memorizzazione del segnale.

– Se il simbolo VCR lampeggia una volta sola per un periodo più lungo, il

segnale IR non è stato appreso dall’RU760. Riprovate alcune volte e controllate che i telecomandi siano allineati correttamente, come descritto nel punto 3.

Se l’RU760 non è in grado di apprendere il codice nonostante i ripetuti tentativi, le cause possibili potrebbero essere: – Il segnale IR del telecomando originale è fuori gamma (l’RU760 accetta

esclusivamente segnali IR con portante compresa tra 30 e 60 kHz. – La memoria dell’RU760 è piena. –L’RU760 interrompe il processo di apprendimento trascorsi 20 secondi

in cui non riceve alcun segnale IR. Controllate se il telecomando

originale funziona correttamente.

Attivazione/disattivazione della retroilluminazione

Grazie alla retroilluminazione dell’RU760 troverete il tasto giusto anche in ambienti scarsamente illuminati. Poiché la retroilluminazione consuma corrente, la durata della batteria viene ridotta se la utilizzate frequentemente. Per questo motivo è possibile disabilitare questa funzione.

Per abilitare la retroilluminazione:

• Premete i tasti 7 e 9 simultaneamente per 5 secondi.

– Standby lampeggerà due volte per

confermare l’abilitazione della funzione di retroilluminazione.

• Ogni volta che premete un tasto del telecomando, la retroilluminazione verrà attivata; trascorsi 5 secondi verrà spenta automaticamente.

Per disabilitare la retroilluminazione:

• Premete i tasti 1 e 9 simultaneamente per 5 secondi.

Standby lampeggerà due volte per confermare la disabilitazione della funzione di retroilluminazione.

• La retroilluminazione non verrà più attivata alla pressione di un tasto.

Ripristino della funzione originale di un tasto

Per eliminare una funzione appresa o una macro dal un tasto e ripristinarne la funzione originale, procedete come descritto di seguito:

1 Selezionate la modalità dell’apparecchio corretta per la quale ripristinare

la funzione originale del tasto.

2 Premete i tasti 1 e 6 simultaneamente per

5 secondi finché il simbolo della modalità

selezionata lampeggia due volte, poi rimane illuminato.

3 Premete i tasti 9, 9 ed 6, in questo ordine.

4 Premete due volte il tasto da ripristinare.

– Il simbolo della modalità selezionata lampeggerà due volte per

confermare che il codice appreso (o la macro) è stato cancellato e che la funzione originale è stata ripristinata.

Copia di una modalità dispositivo

Se avete due televisori, è possibile utilizzare una delle modalità dispositivo dell’RU760 per controllare il secondo TV.

Esempio:Avete due televisori ma nessun satellite o un ricevitore via cavo.

1 Selezionate la modalità SAT con il tasto

SELECT.

2 Premete i tasti 1 e 6 simultaneamente per

5 secondi finché il simbolo della modalità

selezionata lampeggia due volte, poi rimane illuminato.

3 Premete i tasti 9, 9 e 2, in questo ordine.

4 Selezionate la modalità (TV) che intendete

copiare.

5 Premete il tasto 1.

Il simbolo SAT lampeggia due volte per confermare il comando. Ora potete programmare la modalità SAT per controllare il secondo televisore. Per i dettagli, fate riferimento la capitolo 2 ‘Installazione del telecomando’.

• Le specifiche dell’apparecchio satellitare, i tasti appresi e le macro memorizzati nella modalità SAT verranno eliminati.

• Se la modalità lampeggia una volta per un periodo più lungo, la funzione di copia non ha avuto esito positivo. Ripetete la procedura a partire dal punto 1.

Ripristino di tutte le funzioni di una modalità dispositivo

E’ possibile ripristinare le impostazioni predefinite di una modalità dispositivo, oppure cancellare tutti i tasti appresi e le macro memorizzati in questa modalità.

1 Selezionate la modalità da ripristinare con il tasto SELECT. 2 Premete i tasti 1 e 6 simultaneamente per

5 secondi finché il simbolo della modalità selezionata lampeggia due volte, poi rimane illuminato.

3 Premete i tasti 9, 9 ed 6, in questo ordine.

– Il simbolo della modalità lampeggerà due

volte per confermare il ripristino delle impostazioni originali.

• Se la modalità lampeggia una volta per un periodo più lungo, la funzione di ripristino non ha avuto esito positivo. Ripetete la procedura a partire dal punto 1.

Assegnazione del controllo di volume ad un’altra modalità

I controlli di volume (Volume su,Volume giù e Muto) dell’RU760 sono assegnati al TV od all’amplificatore/ricevitore, a seconda dell’apparecchio selezionato;

5 Premete il tasto 1.

– Il simbolo della modalità lampeggerà due

volte per confermare l’assegnazione dei controlli di volume VCR al TV.

• Se la modalità lampeggia una volta per un periodo più lungo, l’assegnazione dei controlli di volume non ha avuto esito positivo. Ripetete la procedura a partire dal punto 1.

Aggiunta di una funzione al telecomando

Se sul telecomando non è disponibile una specifica funzione e non è possibile apprenderla dal telecomando originale, contattate la nostra Helpline per ottenere un codice a 5 cifre da utilizzare per aggiungere all’RU760 la funzione mancante. (Il numero telefonico è riportato a pagina 145).

1 Selezionate la modalità richiesta con il tasto SELECT. 2 Premete i tasti 1 e 6 dell’RU760

simultaneamente per 5 secondi finché il simbolo della modalità selezionata lampeggia due volte e poi rimane illuminato.

3 Premete i tasti 9, 9 ed 4, in questo ordine.

4 Inserite il codice a 5 cifre comunicato dall’helpdesk. 5 Premete il tasto al quale associare la nuova funzione.

– Il simbolo della modalità selezionata lampeggia due volte per

confermare la memorizzazione della funzione.

• Se abbinate la funzione ad un tasto già programmato, la funzione originale verrà sostituita da quella nuova. Per ripristinare la funzione originale, consultate ‘Ripristino della funzione originale di un tasto’ a pagina 11.

Ripristino di tutte le funzioni originali

Per riportare l’RU760 alle impostazioni predefinite, procedete come descritto di seguito:

1 Premete i tasti 1 e 6 simultaneamente per

5 secondi finché il simbolo della modalità

selezionata lampeggia due volte, poi rimane illuminato.

2 Premete i tasti 9, 8 ed 1, in questo ordine.

• La modalità lampeggerà due volte per confermare l’avvenuto ripristino. Il telecomando è stato riportato alla configurazione originale.

5. Risoluzione di problemi

• Problema

– Soluzione

•L’apparecchio da controllare non risponde ed il relativo simbolo non lampeggia alla pressione di un tasto.

– Sostituite le batterie con due batterie R03, UM4 o AAA da 1,5 Volt nuove.

•L’apparecchio da controllare non risponde, ma il relativo simbolo lampeggia alla pressione di un tasto.

– Puntate l’RU760 in direzione dell’apparecchio ed assicuratevi che non vi

siano ostacoli tra l’RU760 e l’apparecchio.

•L’RU760 non risponde correttamente ai comandi.

– Forse state utilizzando il codice errato. Provate a riprogrammare l’RU760 con

un altro codice, tra quelli elencati sotto alla marca del vostro apparecchio, oppure ripristinate la configurazione svolgendo la ricerca automatica del codice corretto. Se l’apparecchio non risponde ancora ai comandi, contattate la nostra helpline.

• Le pagine Teletext non vengono visualizzate sullo schermo, sebbene venga premuto il tasto (ﬁ).

–Seguite le istruzioni contenute in ‘Installazione del telecomando’ ed al punto 5

premete i tasti 0, 0, 6 e 4. Premete il tasto sottotitoli per visualizzare le pagine Teletext sullo schermo.

•I tasti Teletext non funzionano.

–Verificate se il TV include la funzione Teletext.

• Non è possibile chiudere il Teletext.

– Premete il tasto per i sottotitoli per disattivare la funzione Teletext.

•L’utilizzo di tutte le funzioni dell’apparecchio è difficoltoso.

– Probabilmente è necessario adattare l’RU760 al modello dell’apparecchio.

– Provate a configurare automaticamente l’RU760.

• Nessuno dei codici funziona durante la configurazione manuale del telecomando.
