Highlights
SA1ARA04KI/05
FullSound™
Philips' innovative FullSound technology
faithfully restores sonic details to compressed
MP3 music, dramatically enriching and
enhancing it, so you can experience CD music
without any distortion. Based on an audio
post-processing algorithm, FullSound
combines Philips' renowned expertise in music
reproduction with the power of the latest
generation Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The
result is fuller bass with more depth and
impact, boosted voice and instrument clarity,
and rich detail. Rediscover your compressed
MP3 music in true-to-life sound that will touch
your soul and move your feet.
Internet video download
View videos on the go with Internet Video
Download, an easy-to-use feature that lets you
download videos from video sharing sites
(YouTube, MySpace or Google Video) to your
GoGear. Install the PC application provided,
connect your GoGear to your PC and use
Internet Explorer to visit your favourite video
sharing site. Choose a video and click the
Download button that appears when you
hover the mouse cursor over the video. No
need to wait — just move on to other videos
and start downloading more.
Voice recording
Voice recording converts your GoGear player
into a handy dictation machine. Besides playing
music or listening to the radio, you can also
record notes or reminders for work or school,
record shopping lists and phone numbers –
even song lyrics. By pressing the recording
button and speaking into the built-in
microphone, voice messages are compressed
and stored in the built-in internal memory.
Voice recording gives you a highly portable
voice recorder allowing you to record
anything, anytime and anywhere!
Napster, Audible and BBC iPlayer
Enjoy the best content on your Philips GoGear
with Napster, Audible and BBC iPlayer. With
the music flatrate Napster To Go you enjoy
millions of songs in top quality. Just drag and
drop them to your GoGear without paying for
each song separately. Discover new music with
services such as automix playlists and radio
stations, just as you like it. Audible offers over
75,000 audio books, broadcasts, entertainment
and business information. Buy audio books ala-carte or on a monthly plan to take them with
you on your GoGear. In the UK, catch up on
BBC TV programmes you missed: download,
transfer and enjoy!
