Philips Energy Advantage PL-T lamps are
a simple way to save energy.
Save energy without changing a ballast
• Two wattages available—27W and 33W
–27W is a direct replacement for a PL-T 32W lamp, saving 5 watts of energy
–33W is a direct replacement for a PL-T 42W lamp, saving 9 watts of energy
• Up to 21% energy savings when replacing the above 32W and 42W lamps
• No new ballast required
Broad range of color temperatures
• Available in 3000K, 3500K and 4100K

) Rated average life is the length of operation (in hours) at which point an average of 50% of a large sample of lamps will still be operational and 50% will not.

) Average life under specified test conditions with lamps turned off and restar ted no more frequently than once every 3 operating hour s.Lamp life is appreciably longer if lamps are started less frequently.

4) Approximate initial lumens.The lamp lumen output is based upon lamp performance after 100 hour s of operating life, when the output is measured during operation on a reference ballast under standard labor atory
onditions. For expected lamp lumen output, commercial ballast manufacturers can advise the appropriate ballast factor for each of their ballasts when they are informed of the designated lamp.The ballast factor is a

multiplier applied to the designated lamp lumen output.
5) Design lumens are the approximate lamp lumen output at 40% of the lamp’s rated average life.This output is based upon measurements obtained during lamp operation on a reference ballast under
standard laborator y conditions.
