7. Wallor CeilingMounting- Theapplianceshouldbe mountedto a
wallorceilingonly asrecommendedbythe manufacturer.
8. Ventilation- Theapplianceshouldbesituatedsothatits locationor
positiondoes not interferewith its properventilation.Forexample,
theapplianceshouldnot besituatedona bed,sofa,rug, or similar
surfacethat may block the ventilation openings;or, placed in a
built-ininstallation,suchas a bookcaseor cabinetthat mayimpede
theflow of air throughthe ventilationopenings.

such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances

andsupportingstructuregroundingof thelead-inwiretoan anten-
na dischargeunit,sizeofgroundingconnectors,locationofanten-
na-dischargeunit,connectiontogroundingelectrodesandrequire-
mentsforthegroundingelectrode.SeeFig.below.
15. Non-use Periods - The powercordof the applianceshouldbe
unpluggedfrom the outletwhenleftunusedfor a longperiodof
time.
16. ObjectandLiquidEntry- Careshouldbetakensothatobjectsdo
notfalland liquidsarenotspilledintotheenclosurethroughopen-
ings.
17. DamageRequiringService- Theapplianceshouldbe servicedby
qualifiedservicepersonnelwhen:
A. Thepowersupplycordortheplughasbeendamaged;or
B. Objectshavefallen,or liquidhasbeenspilledintotheappli-
ance;or
C. Theappliancehasbeenexposedto rain;or
D. Theappliancedoesnotappearto operatenormallyor exhibits
a markedchangeinperformance;or
E. Theappliancehasbeendropped,ortheenclosuredamaged.
18. Servicing- Theusershouldnot attemptto servicethe appliance
beyondthat describedin theoperatinginstructions.Allotherservic-
ing shouldbereferredto qualifiedservicepersonnel.
