- M = pulse position (push slide forwards to operate and release to stop)
- 0 = off position

Important
Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for
future reference.
Danger
- Do not immerse the mixer in water nor rinse it under the tap.
Warning
- Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance
corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the
appliance.
- Do not use the appliance if the mains cord, the plug or other parts are
damaged.
- If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a
service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualied persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
- The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
Caution
- Always insert the beaters or the kneading hooks into the mixer before
you connect it to the mains.
- Lower the beaters or kneading hooks into the ingredients before you
switch on the appliance.
- Unplug the mixer before you remove the beaters or kneading hooks
and before you clean it.
- This appliance is intended for household use only.
- Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that
Philips does not specically recommend. If you use such accessories or
parts, your guarantee becomes invalid.
- Do not let the appliance run for more than 10 minutes without
interruption. If you want to process large quantities of ingredients, let
the appliance cool down rst before you continue.
- Do not clean the plastic accessories of this appliance in the dishwasher.
They are not dishwasher-proof.
- Do not use a beater and a kneading hook or two different types of
beaters to mix or knead ingredients.
Electromagnetic elds (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic
elds (EMF). If handled properly and according to the instructions in this
user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on scientic evidence
available today.
3 Put the plug in the wall socket.
4 Lower the beaters or kneading hooks into the ingredients.
Note: If you want to stop mixing for a while, switch off the mixer and put
it, with the beaters or kneading hooks still attached, on its heel until you
continue (Fig. 3).
5 Switch on the mixer (Fig. 4).
6 Whenyounishmixing,setthespeedcontrolto‘0’toswitchoffthe
appliance and remove the plug from the wall socket.
7 Press the eject button to release the beaters or kneading hooks and
remove them from the mixer (Fig. 5).
Tips
- Use the kneading hooks to prepare yeast dough, shortbread dough and
minced meat. Select speed 2 or 3 when you use the kneading hooks.
- Use the beaters to whip egg white and cream, to mix batters (pancakes,
wafes, biscuits, puff pastries etc.), to mix cake mixtures, creams,
toppings, instant puddings, mayonnaise, sauce and soups, to puree
potatoes and to whip whipping cream.
- Start at speed 1 to prevent splashing. Then continue processing at speed
2 or 3. Use speed 3 for an airy result, especially with egg whites.
- Use the M-position of the control slide to get more control over the
process. You can use the M-position for jobs that require precision, e.g.
whipping cream that is almost ready.
Cleaning
Danger: Do not immerse the mixer in water nor rinse it under the tap.
Caution: Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive
liquids such as alcohol, petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.
Caution: Do not clean the plastic accessories of this appliance in the
dishwasher. They are not dishwasher-proof.
1 Switch off and unplug the mixer.
2 Clean the beaters and kneading hooks in warm water with some
washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.
3 Clean the mixer with a moist cloth.

- Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste
at the end of its life, but hand it in at an ofcial collection point for
recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment. (Fig. 6)
Using the appliance
1 Insert the beaters or kneading hooks into the mixer (‘click’). If
necessary, slightly turn the beaters or kneading hooks while you do
this. (Fig. 2)
Note: Insert the beater or kneading hook with the plastic collar into the larger
opening.

Perhatian

Medan elektromagnet (EMF)
Alat Philips ini mematuhi semua standar yang berkenaan dengan medan
elektromagnet (EMF). Jika ditangani dengan benar dan sesuai dengan
instruksi dalam petunjuk penggunaan ini, alat tersebut aman digunakan
menurut bukti ilmiah yang kini tersedia.
2 Masukkan bahan adonan ke dalam mangkuk.
3 Pasang steker ke stopkontak dinding.
4 Turunkan dan masukkan pengocok spiral ke dalam bahan.
Catatan: Jika Anda ingin menghentikan mixer sejenak, matikan mixer dan
taruhlah, dengan pengocok atau pengocok spiral tetap terpasang, pada kakinya
sampai Anda melanjutkan (Gbr. 3).
5 Hidupkan mixer (Gbr. 4).
6 Setelah Anda selesai menggunakan mixer, setel kontrol kecepatan ke
‘0’ untuk mematikan alat dan lepaskan steker alat dari stopkontak
dinding.
7 Tekan tombol pelepas untuk melepas pengocok atau pengocok spiral,
dan lepaskanlah dari mixer (Gbr. 5).
Tip
- Gunakan pengocok spiral untuk menyiapkan adonan beragi, adonan roti
dan daging cincang. Pilih kecepatan 2 atau 3 bila Anda menggunakan
pengocok spiral.
- Gunakan pengocok untuk mengocok putih telur dan krim, mencampur
adonan (panekuk, wafel, biskuit, kue kering, dsb.), untuk mencampur
adonan cake, krim, topping, puding instan, mayones, saus dan sup, untuk
menghaluskan kentang dan untuk membuat krim kocok.
- Mulai pada kecepatan 1 untuk mencegah cipratan. Lalu lanjutkan
pemrosesan pada kecepatan 2 atau 3. Gunakan kecepatan 3 untuk hasil
yang lebih berbusa, khususnya pada putih telur.
- Gunakan posisi-M pada penggeser kecepatan untuk lebih mengontrol
proses. Anda dapat menggunakan posisi-M untuk pekerjaan yang
memerlukan ketelitian, misalnya krim kocok yang sudah hampir siap.
Membersihkan
Bahaya: Jangan merendam mixer dalam air atau membilasnya di bawah
keran.
Perhatian: Jangan sekali-kali menggunakan sabut gosok, bahan pembersih
abrasif atau cairan agresif seperti alkohol, bensin atau aseton untuk
membersihkan alat.
Perhatian: Jangan bersihkan aksesori plastik alat ini dalam mesin cuci
piring. Aksesori tersebut tidak bisa dicuci di mesin cuci piring.
1 Matikan dan cabut steker mixer.
2 Bersihkan pengocok atau pengocok spiral dalam air hangat dengan
sedikit cairan pembersih, atau dengan menggunakan mesin cuci piring.
3 Bersihkan mixer dengan kain lembab.

1 Masukkan pengocok atau pengocok spiral ke dalam mixer (hingga
berbunyi ‘klik’). Jika perlu, putar sedikit pengocok atau pengocok spiral
saat Anda melakukan ini. (Gbr. 2)
Catatan: Masukkan pengocok atau pengocok spiral dengan penahan plastiknya
ke dalam lubang yang besar.
